Love the Sanderson shout wont happen but he should definitely take another big jump especially with solidified PP1 minutes. Tkachuk has no shot at the Rocket imo I'd be way more confident in Sanderson winning the Norris than Tkachuk even being a Rocket Richard finalist
The Sanderson pick is underated. He is still very underated around the league and I think he has the potential to be a finalist in 3-4 years time. It’s not crazy to think he could fully breakout next year as now the Sens have a better goalie and there younger players are only going to keep getting better.
I think the oilers learned a lot about him this year. Let him rest regularly and he'll be his best. No more stretches of 8 games, let him rest after 3 or 4 games and he'll be the .920% 2.2 GAA guy
@Just_a_Man780 Well he was on a losing team so it's tough to say he deserved 2nd over guys like Matthews but in terms of individual defense from a forward I think he was the best. Barkov just had so many good defenders around him while he was the 2nd best defender on his own as a forward
Gimme Jon Cooper for the Jack Adams, given all of Tampa's roster changes and Kucherov presumably not scoring 144 points again, if Tampa holds on to a playoff spot I don't think it'll be hard to make the argument he's due. Also shoutout to Ryan Huska, has to feel rough to have worse odds than "Unnamed CBJ coach."
