This shop is for everyone who missed the Kickstarter campaign and still wants to support the development of Solarpunk 🥰.

Solarpunk is a calm survival craft game in a technically advanced world of floating islands. Live in harmony with nature and use sunlight, wind and water to create an energy system and automate your processes like gathering ressoureces and watering your plants.
Feedback: I think it would be much cooler if berry bushes would be "harvestable" - so just picking up the ripe berrys instead of just ripping the whole plant out. 😅
noted
agree or we can replant it on the crop plot
@@sennaul I wouldnt even like the auto-replant. Its just more realistic and immersive if plants that are harvestable can actually be harvested. Not just berries but thinks like apples from apple trees too, you know. Everything that grows FROM a plant and isnt just the whole plant as in carrots for example. 😅 Dont know if you agree but thats what I think about that.
Seems a bit contrary to the themes of the game, doesn't it?
@@alexernst9448 not at all? wouldn't harvesting the berries and leaving the plant be better than destroying it?
Looks so calm and peaceful
I've had this on my wait list in stream forever now. I'm so excited that the game is continuing its development!❤
You've just earned another Alpha-Baker! I wish I would've seen this game sooner!
Thank you for your support
This is looking great ❤
I quite liked the music :)
Love the fact that it's a multiplayer!!!💕
Is there perhaps avatar customization?:))
Nice looking so far, but that building with the very large surface area of glass walls would be comically expensive to keep heated in winter, there's no way such a waste of energy fits the notion of Solarpunk.
Maybe they are double paned glass and have good IR reflective coatings.
@@ninjafruitchilled No double paned glass window can match the thermal performance of a simple brick wall. Maybe you wanted to say triple paned? And what sustainable materials and process do you propose to use to make the high-performance reflective coatings?
@@d0nj03 dude the islands are floating in the sky, don't overthink it.
@@ninjafruitchilled I will stop overthinking it when they stop trying to steal the name of the entire Solarpunk genre and vision for the real climate and human future, and name their game something else.
If there no danger to player it is a farm game
If there's a hunger and thirst bar -- there's danger.
wheres the punk? are we fighting dystopian capitalism?
I thought the -punk suffix just means it's an aesthetic/genre/style, like how there's Steampunk, Dieselpunk or Frostpunk. Yeah, the -punk genres are usually used to connote some dystopia, but it's a nice change to have a -punk genre that isn't a needless dystopia.
I was really waiting for a Solarpunk game
Wait, my country makes videogames other than Dorfromantik, Crysis, The Settlers, and those bargain bin public infrastructure simulators?
Jawohl! Bitte Shadow Gambit, Dome Keeper, Nivalis nicht vergessen :D
Don't forget about Spellforce! A great hybrid RPG/RTS series
Looks Amazing. I hope solarpunk can become a more popular aesthethic than cyberpunk.
Feedback: love it, such games are so needed opposite all dystopian junk. But I think it needs some drama and depth.
Like can you land on, let alone see earth, and see it poisoned? Are there companies trying to corrupt your solar punk with advertisements that offer green washing short cuts? Can you speak to others who need to be liberated from shortage anxieties? Is there also an alternative economic model, say gift economy, rather than the traditional exploitation capitalist model? Where's the story beneath the story? Will islands die, when over exploited, so you need to protect a healthy balance and diversity? Etc.
it has all the elements needed, ie farming, base building exploration, solo play, so yep it's on my list.
Thank you so mich
Suggest to make this 3rd or 1st person? Having the option would be neat.
In a world where nimbyism, zoning laws, and corporations don't prevent people from enjoying sustainability...
Looks great ! I love the fact you can travel between small sky island in a little zeppelin :D
you team can have this game support mobile device
I intrudocued this game to my fans with this trailer, and the background music is copyrighted... 😂🤣
ua-cam.com/video/CP-efBG-0fY/v-deo.html
Sometimes raising chicken and growing lettuces is needed to rest the soul from a hard day of saving the world.
Heard the music and I'm already onboard. Plus I've always loved Solarpunk themes so this game is right up my alley !
there should be a lore behind this instead of just purely survival
Some of the best games have zero lore to them, or just about.
I would prefer a sandbox instead of lore for this game.
@@ardeof don't know a single one, all my favorite games have a lore, and lore/story is the main and most important thing for me (alongside with good gameplay of course, but story is more important and i can tolerate some mid gameplay), i mean, if there's no lore/story i'm not gonna be interested to play it if it's just an endless pointless game with nothing but gameplay
@@CamelliaFlingert To each their own, but I find lore is NEVER given decently enough in videogames and it's always a disappointment.
@@ardeof well, i have plenty of good games with good lore, idk, you're struggle to find them for some reason
I love the idea of having these deserted flying structures. I think for the future development, it would be super epic if a small story line like in Raft was added, that does not make out the whole game but adds a little explorative spice to it. Also, this is exactly the kind of game I was always looking for and I sincerely hope the best for this game!!! Is there any way to support besides financially?
I'm so excited for Aloft to come out and now I get 2 of them!!
Devs behind Aloft are great and we wish them all the best.
Survival game❎
Relaxing game✅
I love it. But I'm a lil afraid it might run out of content in 10 hours if not less (well maybe not I'm judging the amount of things i saw in the trailer). Happens with a lot of survival games when they don't have enough crafts/perks/goals. Icarus has the coolest perks and tech tree, but even tho it's my favorite not-story-based survival it has very little actual goals you work towards. The Forest has basically not much more than pretty short story and building and you're forced to go far places leaving your carefully built base behind to progress a story. Green Hell was so full of life-threatening things that you kinda don't need a goal because you're busy fighting for your life. Deep Stranded - To "win" they make you cosplay seaborder patrol and go into the waters for hours which is not very exciting. Really liked Demo of the Frontier but it was too short, and idk if it had so little robot upgrades and crafts because of the demo or is that the full release experience. Subnautica is #1 story-based survival for me, they solve the annoying problem of being forced out of your base to progress a story by allowing you having a base inside the cyclope submarine that you use to go to places. Raft is one of the greatest survival games i played, it took dozens of hours from me, it uses similar method to subnautica - your base is your transport. Then Slime rancher, not a survival but kinda a base builder, enjoyed it at first but then it became a careless grind, the only motivation to get more types of slimes is that selling the same ones inflates the price. But i loved the map and overall vibes, girls probably love that game. Anyway i hope you have success, and don't let little mistakes demotivate you! If you listen to the playerbase it all will be fine. Cheers!
Great feedback thank you! So even in the current very, very early phase, you play for longer than 10 hours. If you like Minecraft in survival mode and Raft, then you'll like Solarpunk. Please keep in mind that we are only 2 people, so everything takes a little longer.
@@solarpunk_game Sounds exciting, can't wait!
this is great looking game..i cant wait for it to release on steam
God there being a game just called "solarpunk" is going to absolutely ruin and google searches about the term for people learning about it in the future.
I always think about this, it happened to me when cyberpunk 2077 was released
If they didn't do it, someone else would have. You should absolutely expect the capitalists to try to take over and distort solarpunk to serve profitability just like they did with the "green" label and more recently with "sustainability" and "circularity".

Planet Crafter is also a good Relaxed survival game. Unless this game does not have a hunger meter, but I see Berries lol
Either way this looks like fun. Going to wish list it.
EDIT : Guess I already wish listed the game awhile back.
Probably heard about it from a gaming channel I listen to while I am at work lol
peaceful + survival... these two words are almost like opposites! XD
Why is it called Solarpunk and not Solartopia? Is there a trashland below, where you have to harvest and recycle trash to make buildings?
“Punk” is used for aesthetics. Like Steampunk, Cyberpunk, Petrolpunk, Nuclearpunk and here Solarpunk.
That would actually be totally rad
Yey! Was watching this game from distance and wondering if it will be on consoles. Now I am really happy and can't wait to see it on PS5.
Will this be available to play on smartphones? Because I’d love to play this, but I only have an iPad and a phone
Where's the Chobani yogurt?
This looks just wow... we will round walls?
This will be available on any mobile device ?
The axe animation needs more swing to it.
This looks absolutely amazing! Great job!
I am interested, very interested.
Wow! I’ll play this!
are yall collabing with fn
Looks so good looking forward to this.
hope you guys add an animation for the chicken eating. but damn the game looks pretty good!
Will it come to the Switch?
Poor ps4 gets no love
when can we play?! :D
This is lovely!!!
nice graphic
🙂🤖🪴
This looks delightful af.
This will be so good!
damn shawty, looking good!!!!è
Solarpunk '77
😎😎😎👌👌👌
Oh I am looking forward to this!
What's so punk about it????
A reference to an aesthetic rather than setting. "Punk" has evolved away from it's original context over time.

My comment...my true comment TO YOU is going to get censored.
So, there is no need. If I can't say it like it is....CIAO
@@tobascogladiomatteo4843 I have felt your pain. Censorship on youtube needs to stop wholesale.
Se ve muy interesante
It looks great, but isn't this mostly the same content that has been shown before. Is there any new news?
We are working on a new devlog with new news.
Looking cozy
If this is like Raft but "of the skies" I am totally down for that
Can't wait to play this! 😍 The only thing I don't really get is the power lines on the ground. Wouldn't they make you stumble all the time?? Otherwise this game looks fantastic!
Looks really cool! Any chance we could "bury" those electrical lines in some kind of underground layer? No idea how much work that would be to implement.
I need this.
Please.
Also feedback: a slug for my yard.
This has a very Final Fantasy feel to it with all the floating islands hanging around. Less science fiction; and more fantasy with some techy elements.
Cool game, will it cost money?
probably yes
I feel like the basic farming needs to feel a bit more yechnologically advanced (or at least be able to be upgraded that way) with grow lights and nutrient dispeensers or whatnot. Something to tie the whole solarpunk theme into the gameplay. Like integrating tech into an artificial ecosystem you build in order to help it florish benefitting you and other creatures that start living within such ecosystem
i will love if someday this game is on metaquest device to play in VR mode
I’m a sucker for survival and automation. Hoping this delivers!
i hope this game supports 4 players so i can play it with my friends :)
Looks awesome, only concern on my end is how much content wil be available when it releases.
I’d recommend making the hunger and thirst meters quite forgiving by default. Allowing players to focus more on high concept build ideas would be preferable to constantly having to think about where your next meal is coming from.
Yeah none of this is actually Solarpunk, because the mindset/frame is the same. Destroy the environment to survive. This is just yet another greenwashed game. Sorry but I’m not investing into this bullshit
The game Adrift is worth looking into.
This really fails to understand the asthetic of solar punk. This is... generic and boring as a result. You really need to think "in the year 5000" and be optimistic. As it stands your just scamming on the na,e Solar Punk.
Gotta wait for someone make a geo-placement for those who want tidy space, and it also nice is we can turn on or off that easy because the terrain is not even to a bit adjust will be better
Will be a VR version of it ? With interactive furniture like siting, playing games, put decoration on furnitures, petting animals with hands ?
Hell yeah Farmville: The Survival Game
I want this game NOW ❤
выглядит просто прекрасно ! буду ждать 😊😊👍👍
my brother is going to love this, oh my god.
my sister and i will be playing this when it drops. cozy!
I dont know why I liked it so much... looks cute
Wow, This looks awesome! consider me an early supporter ❤
Edit: I just watched your other videos, over 500,000 steam wishlists... maybe not :(
Another Edit: The kickstarter raised over 300,000 euros... Yeah I am definitely not.
I also thought this was a relatively unknown indie title considering how small the YT channel is so I was really surprised to hear it has 500k wishlists. That's top 30 most wishlisted games in the world. I get it though. The game looks amazing.
@@Akrob55555 Thank you!
Cool want it
Looks great!
looks amazing!!!
wonderful!
Any update on when the Alpha will be available?
This year for sure, but we can't say any specific date yet, sorry!
It's funny that you obfuscate who your developers actually are online. You pipe off that you are "based in Germany" leading me to believe you aren't actually a Western team. It doesn't really matter all that much - but we see this from the chinese specifically - where they are "oh yeah European game studio!" ... and for some reason it's only chinese nationals or immigrants working there. It's in the interest of the countries where you do business to hire native citizens of that country, integrate, and do away with third world nepotistic habits. Holding off on this one til you grow up a little and stand by your product.
Okay this is amazing! I wonder will you add compost! 😻😻😻Oh my this is a SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY kind of game i love it!
Hey the yogurt commercial became a game!
You could literally go touch some grass and do the same activities in real life,if you have the option and you choose the game then I feel sorry for you
Building a house, getting solar panels or just flying an airship is much more expensive in real life. I guess it's the more peaceful and reliable game that draws people in.
But I do see what you meant, it's nice to grow your own veggies and fruits
Looking more forward to this than "Aloft"
Aloft is a great game and the devs are very kindly! Wish them all the best.
