‘Mr Mugler’ - the respect Law has for the designer and his archive - and the fact they flew to Paris…TWICE…to meet face-to-face with the team. This is what I love - it’s not just the public event, it’s the work Law Roach and Zendaya do behind the scenes. Bravo!

I think her measurements might’ve been a little bit off, but they were able to make it work because Z was probably a bit smaller than the original model
Apparently Zendaya is an avid photographer and carries her own camera set up with her everywhere, including on sets on her films - not a stretch to think she would document her incredible fashion journey. Can you imagine a photo book detailing her and Law’s career together?!
I’m screaming because sis really thought that law had it in the archives already. And the gag of it all is I wouldn’t even bat an eye if he did have it.
i fell in love with mugler’s work as a child when beyoncé wore this and the rest of his pieces during IAWT. i’m so glad a whole new generation gets to marvel at his creativity now thanks to law and zendaya 🥹 he can rest in peace knowing his legacy will live on.
Beyoncé’s was an entirely different piece made specifically for her. The piece Zendaya wore was the ONE & ONLY ORIGINAL Mugler 1995 ARCHIVAL robot suit, worn only during the runway show.
This is the first interview I have ever seen of law, I decided to just check him out because zendaya is just a fashion icon right now and besides law being a genius at what he does and also very respectful the interviewer is very good at what she’s doing too like she knows what she’s talking about and getting into it, very fun to watch!

@@osimiri7111 @osimiri7111 no. Only extremely thin, tall and proportional shape = zendaya. the word Should is a wish, not a reality. This fact doesn't throw away the recognition about her perfection choosing outfits. I'm referring to this point because is not only that she can easily wear haute couture, the dresses has been made near to her measurements. If you have Ariana measurements you need to do the entirely dress again for your figure and probably it won't be the same.
@@julsgero Where in my comment do you see height mentioned? Oh, right nowhere. What you said comes across as a racist, and implied only people with certain body types or skin tones should model. There’s haute couture fashion being made presently for diverse bodies and completions. You do not give Annie Leibowitz enough credit. You obviously don’t understand the context of those photos in her work. She’s not just a portrait photographer. As a victim of SA, the photo she took of Simone is so profound to me- and that’s just one aspect of this photo of a champion. That portrait tells the story of everything she’s accomplished that has made her heroic outside of the gymnasium.. the things that make her- who she is to us now and for ever. She’s struggled and won at life too. It’s an incredible portrait of a woman who had to smile as part of the way she represented all of us. Do you not like photography? Do you not think of her as an artist? I can tell you about the other photos you believe to be .. what? Some sort of scheme to make black women look ugly?
My hubby and I are headed to the southside for Mother's Day. Law makes me think of hope, joy and genius, then I think about all of the talent there...underutilized, overlooked and underrepresented people from the area that just needed an opportunity! He is amazing to listen to. Thanks for the interview.
You do not belong in this comment section. Because you do not understand the composition to takes to orchestrate a Fashion Style, Runway Look, Photo Shoot, Set Design or even what it may take to structure a Dress or Outfit. Law is also very talented multiple ways as well, but he is the Maestro, The Image Architect.

For real! Idk why they said Zendaya wouldn’t be able to fit in it… She’s literally a size 2 or less LOL What a gorgeous woman inside and out ❤
I would have been emotional as hell, I think lol! It had to feel so surreal!

Law and Zendaya's relationship was meant to be. The universe put them together. It's beautiful to witness.
Nothing like a designer and their client/model being in sync
The easy thing is that Zendaya has de height, weight and complexion of a haute couture model. So she fits perfectly in all the runway's designs.
Um haute couture models can be any complection? 🙄 And should be any weight, ideally
