I love her and she's right but "not a lot of singers can" does not at all ring true to me as a singer. Most people I have worked with work WITH the band or whoever they are singing with. Maybe it's different in the celeb world but I'm surprised since she's from a Broadway background. Like that's not a very unique skill, it's essential in most professional settings...

I think that in the first question, the interviewer was bordering on unprofessional. She’s entitled to her opinion, but the way she was squirming, her facial expressions, flat "no’s," and outright dismissing Law’s opinion as invalid-especially at the start-was cringeworthy. Thankfully, she recovered, and he helped tremendously by turning it into a discussion and bringing real arguments instead of avoiding the question entirely, as most people would have in response to her reactions. I watch these interviews to learn about his opinions, not to see the interviewer trying to force the answers she wants to hear.

I wish rappers and singers would think like this; stop promoting brands that don’t support you.

I went to music school for 7 plus years, because who doesn't learn music at one point but whenever i bring this up, people who claim to play guitar cant read music. they are both extremely deceitful songs (technically). Even if you could hit high notes (I can’t) I would think the breathing, and emotional and technical roller coaster of both songs can make your voice crack if not professionally AND technically trained. That explanation she did with I’m here blew my mind, you have to tear the song down and build it back up multiple times. That part right there is extremely tiring for your lungs, your voice, etc…WOW

I love they are talking about this!! Voices are like colors… some colors just don’t look good together or match well and clash. You can have two incredible singers but together they can sound off and annoying or simply weird and opaque or dissonant. But if you put together two voices or more that Blend well its magnificent and even better than just one. Some people know how to accommodate with anyone and blend… that’s why she says she can really hear. In my opinion as Ari is a great impersonator she knows how to colocate her voice to compliment each other’s voices together.
