Zendaya’s an example of why a healthy household is so important. She’s confident and liked by so many because she knows how to talk to people. Her parents gave her a safe space to grow and pushed her to be her best self. Such a shame not everyone has that opportunity and most people are not understanding of others.
Yes, she is so grounded and has such a cool personality. I appreciated your comment because not everyone has that opportunity to grow up that well balanced and well adjusted and you are right we are so judgemental and unforgiving of one another. It’s actually really interesting and refreshing to see zendaya and her mum together. I think it’s great her mum was a teacher and that they stayed close and zen became an actor. Her mum keeps her humble and in check too which is what I’ve always liked about zen, she represents a more authentic version of life that comes across on camera.
ZENDAYA AND HER FAMILY ARE ROYALTY. thank you for interviewing this blue print of a family. they do everything right and how down to earth and wise Zendaya is, is a true testament to her parents. Her mother is a QUEEN! much respect to these ladies xox
Zendaya isn’t Black, she’s half white and half Black (biracial woman) so it’s a bit odd to say Black women who clearly don’t look like her are being inspired by her when there are amazing unambiguous young Black women like Keke Palmer, Lupita etc to look up to. Black women just don’t have similar experiences to her as the world receives them differently
@@thandisilec835 it’s difficult because in america with the one drop rule especially, black includes biracial people. Society categorises more by race than ethnicity, which I think can be confusing and unhelpful
It’s crazy how similar Zendaya & I grew up yet I’m 5’9-5’9.5 lol, I started playing basketball around the same age as Z and track and nothing lasted then I also got into dancing when I was 7 almost 8 years old going into 2nd grade and was also in a hip hop group for 10 years. But my mom also wanted to save up some money when I was really little to take us to Disneyland as well. And I was so intrigued with acting since I was 6 years old and put into theater but dancing and school took so much time away so I started getting back into acting as I got older, and as an actress now I’ve liked up to Zendaya for so long for film reasons and off film reasons. & I just realized my mom had me at the same age Zendaya’s mom’s had her 😅. Yet I was also a shy kid until it came to my crafts, and my acting coach rn just said most actors are introverted which I didn’t know and made me feel like now I don’t feel like I’m the only one lol. And I’ve also had many older people even senior citizens ask my age a couple times because they were shocked of how old and knowledge my soul is as well. I also don’t cook either lol same reasons as Z and I’d love to have someone to cook for. But I’m glad Zendaya took the part away from her parents as well when she said her parents got on her about not saying anything for a girl that was getting bullied in her class cause that’s something I’ve learned in middle school when I started experiencing and witnessing bullying and will tell my future kids as well the same thing Z’s parents told her. Loved this interview! Love Z! There needs to be more interviews like this with parents ❤️ thank you Tina!
I admire how down to earth and wholesome Zendaya and her mom are. The rapport between them and Tina Knowles is nice too like close family friends chatting.
A good kitchen can inspire you to want to create. I'm not gonna lie. My mom and I got our first tattoos together. I was 20 and my mom was 45. We felt so bad ass, I told my mom let's go to a bar and drink out of a dirty glass"! My mom was like and what will you be drinking at THIS BAR? I told her "It doesn't matter! We're rebels, I don't need ID"! Mind you I'm 20, but I looked 15. I love Zendaya. She is everything. She is a phenomenal Actor.
Zendaya's mother is from the era of old school teachers who didn't play about you or your learning, she educated in one of the most diverse but hard core area like Fruitvale that you can see how she was proud that her daughter paid attentiom to her being her best at what she was called to do and beared fruit in her labor. So cool to finally see Zendaya‘s mom interviewed, since Zendaya has mentioned her influence and admiration kn so many other interviews! Go moms/mums everywhere!
Love this interview!!! It's very telling how a superstar known around the world, still recognizes and honors her parents especially her mother!!! Kudos to Ms. Tina for doing this interview and kudos to Zendaya and her mother Claire for opening up and sharing their story!!! 😍😍😍
Finally convinced myself to watch the whole interview after watching several clips on social media for a year lol
Her parents did something right... And I glad they were always with her growing up in that kind of industry.
Zendaya has her mother’s smile 😊
It’s nice to know that Ms Tina is still a black mom at heart, the way she called zendaya from the kitchen just felt soo real 😍😍😍
Zendaya í such a beauty inside and out. It really takes a village and her village came through!
Thank you for this wonderful interview. What an amazing Mother Daughter team.
This. An example of parents who protect their famous kids.
Zendaya very well spoken
I can tell Zendaya is protective of her Mother, love that, beautiful Family 🙌🏽🙏🏽💗
I love this interview… they are just chatting away❤❤❤. Tina is asking great questions and Zen and her mom are just so relaxed and relatable.
5:46 and that is the moment when it started when it clicked in her heart and she felt it
Love this!! I love that she’s doing this interview with her mama ❤
ZENDAYA AND HER FAMILY ARE ROYALTY. thank you for interviewing this blue print of a family. they do everything right and how down to earth and wise Zendaya is, is a true testament to her parents.
Her mother is a QUEEN! much respect to these ladies xox
She is such a sweet and thoughtful girl.
Zendaya is so awesome! I loved this interview by Tina because she knows what its like to have a phenomenal daughter that inspires young black women.
**Inspires black, and half black women.
She isn't black!
She isn't black 😂
Awesome interview Tina! Love Zendaya. Thanks to her mom for sharing her story
I hope to raise my 6mo old baby girl this good. So inspirational ❤
Yo this is the first time I'm seeing her mum or noticing her mum, I'm glad for this interview, thank you Mz Tina
Why has Tina looked the same my entire life
I'm such a big fan of Zendaya she is such a great role model and I always support anything she's in
Both mums seem so lovely - Beyonce, Solange and Zendaya are lucky.
Wow their voices are the exact same! Z sounds just like her mom. Same tone same expressions same everything
Zendaya's mother is from the era of old school teachers who didn't play about you or your learning, she educated in one of the most diverse but hard core area like Fruitvale that you can see how she was proud that her daughter paid attentiom to her being her best at what she was called to do and beared fruit in her labor. Beautiful
When she talks about her mother giving up stuff for her and her siblings made me ball my eyes out cause us moms can be underappreciated
