Honestly i've never attempted soloing dungeons because of the heightened difficulty and the sake of my own sanity, but with all the hard work that was put into these videos and to bring them together into a larger guide such as this. I'm gonna start attempting it! Thank you so much for your hard work Centurion 💜
They're honestly not that hard, and the only genuinely stressful bits are the instant death portions. That and Spire bosses. Those ones are sloughs that just test your patience and endurance more than anything else. Always prioritize living, make sure your build it in order so DPS phases don't take an eternity and your sanity, and you'll do just fine ^_^ Don't ask me for advice on the Grasp Sparrow part, I'm cursed to always get my sparrow blown up IMMEDIATELY. Fuck that bit and the shank it rode in on.
Once you solo one dungeon the rest are easy. If you want them to be easy out right then try void/solar Titan with HoIML. Prioritize survival and escape routes. Don’t feel overwhelmed by adds, because adds are you best friend as they provide health if you set your build right. Duality was the hardest step up in difficulty, but that’s because of all the run-ruining bugs that plagued the dungeon. They are great adventures that feel much more earned solo.
Soloing a dungeon is legit one of the best feelings in D2, as the other guy said, always prioritize safety, if you feel in danger then don't risk it, always try to keep your head cool and play it safe, if you want to easily be almost immortal use a Solar Titan build, if you want a more balance between crowd control, damage and safety then rock with Warlock and a solar build, as long as you keep it cool and have a good amount of good equipment then you should be fine, except for Grasp Of Avarice's sparrow section
Shattered throne, pit of heresy, goa are easy and not that time consuming if u want to try out. On goa the sparrow phase is the only thing that could go wrong😅 probably
In prophecy the lighting is annoying but the game does definitively tell you what mote will drop, there is a weird mist vignette on the corners of your screen, depending on whether its white or black youll get light or dark motes respectively
For the Prophecy "cube" encounter I typically run a sniper and trinity ghoul. TG is a good pick for most of this dungeon in a group, but this encounter specifically I find it very consistent solo also. Might help that I was running devour warlock but you know. Been ages since I saw that full rainbow road, instead of flying over it (not confident in my slipstream enough to do it on a flawless, but I did regular sparrow fly on my flawless)
this video made me feel better about me 6 phasing both siren and the final boss in spire lol I thought my dps sucked but I guess that's just how they're designed to be.
I've already solo flawless'd every dungeon and still watched the whole vid, why am I like this? But on a serious note, those are some very good tips (Hive Knight OST is a big W)
Just finished a regular solo clear of Spire (last boss cucked a solo flawless run). 3 1/2 hours it took. Nothing like doing piss all damage for a damage phase. But having it twice in a row is stupid.
I actually prefer Spire Of The Supplicants cause of the straightforwardness of the mechanics, as much as a I hate the ads in Spire, the difficulty is really good for an experienced player, except for the boss's health if you're not a Warlock
I’ve always called ice cream ufo Ty for the new call out name lol. The first to lines are the ufo and the triangle was the beam if you wondering how I thought it.
I have exactly one recommendation for Prophecy: Forerunner. It works like a sniper but with significantly better ease of use, and it’s useful in every encounter both for taking out snipers and killing knights from long range. Source: Just solo flawless’d Prophecy with it
For this first part in spire, I never complete the wires until they all have 1 till completion, then I shoot them all at once to end the encounter, avoiding supplicants. Jump puzzle I use lemonarque to snipe hobgoblins and harpys, and retrofit escapade for hydras. The ascent I use hard light and kill the least amount of adds because I just go for completing the wires so we can get to Akelous fast af Akelous. Sweetbuisness for wires and Akelous pimples, WQ glaive for Minotaurs and melee the goblins, and Taipan linear for main Akelous damage, and once Akelous explodes, you can do melee damage to the eye before it says “immune”, so being up close with a glaive before dps ends is also smart (just don’t die from the pop) And Persys I haven’t gotten that far solo so good luck
Well/Sunbracers/Grand Ouverture. Solar grenades SHRED the supplicants plus hydra get dealt with easy, use anything ur comfortable with for wires and Grand Overture's rockets do some decent damage to the boss (expect approx. 6 dmg phases, Ik ik it's alot, but that's just spire, It's a marathon, not a sprint and I still find it fun). Good luck.
>Uses Arc Hunter with Combo-Blow and Assassin's Cowl "Switch to void for invis" My Brother in Christ, just punch/finisher something, you HAVE invis (plus Spark of Resistance & high Resil op) Also for Phalanx echo and Vorgeth (this works for Duality Gahlran too) I'd reccomend The Lament over a lfr or one-two (plus one-two's been nerfed into the ground as of s19), they're both massive jerks who like to yeet you off the arena/into walls and since Lament heals you when you deal damage + keeps you from being thrown around + has insanely good dps if you know the Banshee's Wail perk combo (block light x 5 + block heavy at the end of your energy, keep swinging while you wait for energy to recharge, rinse and repeat) It'll carry a solo player pretty well through any bosses you can fight point-blank. I haven't tried that on the Pit boss... but i wouldn't be surprised if it's good there too (even though you can kinda use what you want for that one)
@@EmberCenturion True, but if you outheal it, which in my experience is incredibly easy to do with Lament's combo, you don't really have to care. It does help if you have Spark of Resistance and high/maxed Resilience, though + Almost forgot. A lot of bosses in D2 don't really know how to react when you cuddle up against them with a sword, so they'll mostly just spam their ground slam attacks repeatedly instead of actually trying to kill you, which both can be blocked by Lament's charge-up block thing, and even if they aren't, usually do miles less damage than the boss's main weapon.
ive done it all, except for grasp and duality, because i hate the two last encounters in grasp and i hate duality so much that i dont even like doing it normal
I agree with 70% of this, but here are some things that can make it easier. As far as what class makes this easiest 1 titan 2 warlock and 3 hunter. Reason being restoration OP. For duality 2cnd encounter use a wave frame gl for phalanxes. And for third try xenophage with a trace rifle so you can delete backpacks as you kill them. Titans in duality can safely kill the bell bearers from the elevated standard bearer platform. This avoids being launched, dogs, the collasus, and backpacks. In damage phase pop all the bell bearers with xenophage. For spire both titan and warlock are really good for 1st encounter just speed run it with a trace rifle. For second cataclysmic with your choice of eye popping. This includes traces, rapid fire snipers, forerunner, striga, or a font smg. You can use the small barricade to negate knock back from any range. For 3rd only use rockets on warlock, the other classes are better off with grand overture, I like running arc for resist. Double special plus stormnades works best that encounter revolves around 2 things. 1 rotation, mine consisted of leaving the right door and clearing mid suppies first. 2 where is the boss? The boss is not random and follows you, put an effort into luring the boss away from your wires, and constantly checking where the boss is.
Solo'd spire recently and yeah 2 hrs on the big chicken wasn't fun. Looking forward to attempting other dungeons where the bosses have a reasonable amount of health lol
I do the dungeons solo flawless on the first day with own build and weapons since grasp and jesus christ was spire annyoing wih the amount of healthe the enemies have
@@EmberCenturion btw small tip for spire entrance if u dont connect to the last dot no supplicants spawn so u just connect all to the very end when u finish the encounter

8:16 The SWTOR Dark Side choice indication got a good laugh out of me.
Don't you love when Bungie reskins nostalgia just with more health?
So imaginative and fun. You go Bungo

3 1/2 hours ?!
I used young ahamkaras spine and spammed tripmine grenades, dodges, and fan knifes and did it in 4 phases
When he called Omni the eye ball shirt I died bro
I loved this video and all the humor in it.

The problem is that some of the stuff suggested do not work anymore after Lightfall.

Impressive! I've only solo'd some of the dungeons and fail on flawless all the time (I'm looking at you Ogres in Pit that refuse to despawn)
You remember on which class you tried it?
Came across your video looking for another clip. Haha you are hilarious, my guy. Keep up the good work!

Laughs in starfire protocol/rocket/witherhorde 3 phase

This video is outstanding! Watched a few others and became a new sub. Commentary is brilliant!
The video went 14 seconds over the advertised length. I am suing for false advertising.
I am new to destiny and have no clue what these are or what any of the stuff in this video is but ima watch it anyways

Cool guides! But you have one for Warlocks or Titans too? Cus not the entire Destiny community is a hunter
I *might* do warlock and/or titan later down the line
Note, now adays strand is quite good for the damage in prophecy, tractor cannon, star eaters and then strand super (hunter obvs)

My Brother in Christ, just punch/finisher something, you HAVE invis (plus Spark of Resistance & high Resil op)

11:40 I think a better damage for this is cry munity, I tested that grenade launcher and it took more then a quarter of damage
In 2023 you can easy 2 phase with Leviathans breath. It's pretty nutty.
Can we have a warlock guide for each of these
While soloing the spire i died after dealing 3.5M damage and that's not even 25% health of the boss,
Happy soloing this dungeon😑
Big health bars are tough :/
You doing it on master then?

Everything.
What build you use for the hunter with the arc I gotta copy 😮
4:06 you sadistic bastard

Spire is literally only hard because the boss basically has the same health as riven. So solo killing the boss is just a test of patience.

Lmao you earned a sub. Cheers great constant.
Minor addiction? Nah bro fanatic for that shit
Can anyone drag me thru duality as want the smg ? I’m on ps5
solo flawless prophecy feels great and challenging enough until you find out its the easiest one
It was the hardest one when it came out. Especially on the 1st week or so, in which I managed to complete it on a hunter. but holy did anarchy and guillotine carry
Should have added (as hunter) to the title lol
This is for hunter only
ill say this much for spire, dont do it while tired, trust me, it aint worth it once you get to persys
This seems very heavily Hunter biased assuming the Assassins Cowl is Hunter only that is
No
The hardest encounter in pit is the 3 witches area
I've died so many times to stupid physics I'm basically newton
13:30 bro what? prophecy is literally 3rd easiest. The only risk of dying in prophecy is the sparrow section which u can take slow
Wtf? Pit of heresy's callouts are actually Down, Explosion, Minus, Up, Plus and UAAAAAHHWWWW
The 20 phasing thing is the thing that makes me throw up in my mouth a bit. I rather attempt a fireteam flawless run xD
I also enjoy swtor
I've heard always on time is painful on grasp
Or so i've heard. Totally havent died 4 times to the speed sparrow.
Do you think before you speak?
me a warlock main
not really a guide just a recap of the dungeon
I think its hilarious that right after he ended the duality tutorial, he got the dungeon exotic 💀
Ngl shattered throne is probably the easiest dungeon
Ez like n sub😂
