The same, hadn't listened to this song for a couple of years and even forgot that it was Denmark so I spent 30 minutes searching for this song on google. Some of my searches: Eurovision girl with a guitar, Eurovision girl with a captains hat, Eurovision 2010-2017 red stage, Austrian Eurovision songs(I remembered the red and white flag).
One of the best entries Denmark had and got the 23th place.Deserved much more... However,it doesn't matter the place but the song.! Amazing voice,lyrics,rythm...and cute singer. Love you Denmark & particularly Emmelie De Forest
i recently build a spotify playlist and went through each year to see which ones were my favourites and OH my god!!!! AS SOON AS THIS SONG BEGAN I GOT TEARY EYED, HOW DID I FORGET THIS GEM? Definitely one of my my absolutely favourites!! 2012 was an iconic year with so many good songs!!!
Soluna I miss you!! This was my favorite. And after the show I was listening to this song and this song was one of the first songs that I memrised with my weak english. I used to listen her other songs by the way. I love you and your song...
***** Agreed.. Enven as a Dane I think this song is better than our winning songs from 2000 and 2013.. I really don't understand why it got so few points.. Was it her stylists who ruined it, or was the rhythm not "lets clap in tack enough" for the eastern countries??
My favourite Eurovision Song ! Remember it being released in 2012, really loving it on my first listen and then voting for Soluna and the band on the night. I'm now in 2024 and still listen and love this song !!!
its 2017, and im stil listening this song. Probably, the 2012's jury was deaf, how could it even be, that such an awesome song didnt get first place. ¿Awesome voice, nice lyrics, what else do you want? Most underrted song of ESC in my opionon.
I'm from Italy and Baku 2012 was the first Eurovision I've ever watched. I fall in love with this song and it's still one of my favorite ones after all this years. It has a special place in my heart.
This was the best song of the night, no gimmicks, just pure music and talent. That girl is amazing and should've gotten far more recognition. This is coming from an Irish girl who has no bias and no interest in Eurovision politics. I
***** I don't know I think both were as good as each other, however just because Sweden did miles better than Denmark I'm only mentioning that song, because Sweden did actually did like I thought it should but Denmark didn't.
This was my favorite ESC entry back in the day, stuck in my mind all the time. I didn't even remember what it was though, 6 years after, until I clicked on it on the recommended... Now I'm going nostalgic again
Sadly, watching this again i think i heard she was ill on the day. I remember Graham Norton on the UK coverage saying as much, but she still did a great job. Combine that with an uninspiring staging and it sadly didn't do her justice.
Should've known better Now I miss you Like Sahara misses rain Changing like the weather Maybe it's true Maybe you're not gonna change I feel like you have two homes Yet I feel you are homeless Where we live I feel like a stranger When you home I feel even stranger I live in no man's land With no way home like you don't understand Cuz you so here, you so there Not really anywhere She said Should've known better Now I miss you Like Sahara misses rain Changing like the weather Maybe it's true Maybe you're not gonna change Feels like I'm always Living out of my suitcase What about all the years in between Just trying to find my place I live in no man's land With no way home like you don't understand Cuz you so here, you so there Not really anywhere She said Shouting inshallah Shouting inshallah Shouting inshallah She said Shouting inshallah (oh) Shouting inshallah (oh) Shouting inshallah We could've written words on a mountain high Reminding ourselves to keep climbing, right Sometimes we have to lose A part of us to find the truth Nothing more beautiful than the way You use to breathe me to ya lungs and soul Sometimes we have to say I'm sorry I can't stay Should've known better Now I miss you Like Sahara misses rain Changing like the weather Maybe it's true Maybe it's true Should've known better Now I miss you Like Sahara misses rain Changing like the weather Maybe it's true Maybe we're not gonna change Should've known better Should've known better
For me one of the best of the nigh!! I think she was one of those who most believes in what she is singing. Really beliavable performance, not a fake product. Also a unique voice.. I like it a lot. Congrats Soluna fron Spain!! ;)
it was my fav song not only in that final but also one of my favourites ever in Eurovision... voted for it and still listening to it on my car... wonder why none in europe did not like it.. personally i voted for it... bet the juries killed it!!!
This is the best song in the history of Eurovision and I remember she wasn't in the final, right? I was so sad cuz I was sure she'll win. Too bad europe is so deaf. This song is so good, so sweet, simply loveable! I love it. Greetings from Kosova!
FY FAN vad jag älskar den här sången. Framträdandet, rösterna, instrumenten. Bäst någonsin i Eurovision. Best song ever to take part in Eurovision. Kärlek! /Sverige
The best denmark entry ever!!! Soluna is incredible loreen is cool too i wanted 1 of those to to win i'm glad that sweden did win but denmark was one of my favourites in the contest that year and the song they had was incredible and stunning so i love soluna the best
I so agree I think that Sweden should have won which they did but then maybe give my country (Denmark) second or third place she deserved way more then what she got
+johnjohn dk i agree just shows how unfair the eurovision is to some countries i personally think you're country denmark deserved much more points than they got in 2012 hopefully this year in stockholm, sweden denmark will get into the final because they didn't qualify last year :/ well all i can say is good luck and i am from the united kingdom and my country(uk) got 5 points last year but i think we were bad last year to be honest so i'm not suprised
Soluna was my absolute favorite! I voted all 20 times for her and I was so disappointed she she ended up 4th to last. I was sure she'd make it into the top ten.. It's a shame, really. I hope she doesn't take it too seriously. Eurovision lost it's use a long time ago. I feel like the jurys aren't doing the competition anything good either. I still love eurovision though cause I get to discover artists like Soluna! Thank you Soluna for being as amazing as you are! She's a great talent. (GER)
While I still think Loreen deserve the win but I don't agree this song to have low points. I mean seriously this is beautiful. I don't understand how come they seemed not liking this country-feel music and then gone crazy next year over The Common Linnets's After the Storm @.@ll
8 years later, this song still pops in my head from time to time. I’ll never forget this entry.
I know I'm pretty randomly asking but does anyone know of a good site to stream newly released tv shows online?
@Timothy Ryland i would suggest flixzone. You can find it by googling =)

Absolut!
I do not remember most of the winners but, after 9 years this song is still on my list... so underrated.
9 years have passed and I still can't believe this song hasn't been appreciated as it should have... outrageous.
One of the best entries Denmark had and got the 23th place.Deserved much more...
However,it doesn't matter the place but the song.!
Amazing voice,lyrics,rythm...and cute singer.
Love you Denmark & particularly Emmelie De Forest

The most beautiful song in Eurovision history!
This is the most underrated Eurovision song ever after Slovakia 2010. Better than only teardrops and should have won
10 years later, and Ihan Haydar returns as Eurovision's most enthusiastic drummer :P
Soluna I miss you!! This was my favorite. And after the show I was listening to this song and this song was one of the first songs that I memrised with my weak english. I used to listen her other songs by the way.
I love you and your song...
The most underrated song ever in ESC
true
I am 19 years old from Greece. But honestly, this song is the most beautiful song i've ever heard in Eurovision.
Definitely most underrated song from 2012
***** Agreed.. Enven as a Dane I think this song is better than our winning songs from 2000 and 2013.. I really don't understand why it got so few points.. Was it her stylists who ruined it, or was the rhythm not "lets clap in tack enough" for the eastern countries??
23th place.. Yes. It really is underrated. She really deserved to be 1st - 8th or something.
My favourite Eurovision Song ! Remember it being released in 2012, really loving it on my first listen and then voting for Soluna and the band on the night. I'm now in 2024 and still listen and love this song !!!
its 2017, and im stil listening this song.

Most underrted song of ESC in my opionon.
Are you kidding me????Top-10 surely!!!One of my favorites this year!!!Soluna don't be sad you were great all these days!
The most underrated song in the ESC history.
I'm from Italy and Baku 2012 was the first Eurovision I've ever watched. I fall in love with this song and it's still one of my favorite ones after all this years. It has a special place in my heart.
That year I was a volunteer there, and could listen this amazing voice live. Almost 8 years, and still my fav Eurovision song! Love from Azerbaijan :)
lucky
This was the best song of the night, no gimmicks, just pure music and talent. That girl is amazing and should've gotten far more recognition. This is coming from an Irish girl who has no bias and no interest in Eurovision politics. I
One of the best of Eurovision Song Contest's song ever. She is pure talent, Amazing! Cograts from Istanbul and San Francisco :)
I just freakin love that drummer girl. It's so good to watch how she enjoys the whole thing.
shes back this year
Denmark 2012, Iceland 2009, Netherlands 2014 - for me these songs deserved more
***** should've won though.
***** I don't know I think both were as good as each other, however just because Sweden did miles better than Denmark I'm only mentioning that song, because Sweden did actually did like I thought it should but Denmark didn't.
Cyprus 2012?
Arseniy Moskovenko I agree with you so much!
Arseniy Moskovenko Iceland and the Netherlands came 2nd.
Still love this song
its been almost 2 years but still my favorite song. She deserved more .
@LucieESC it's still.
This was my favorite ESC entry back in the day, stuck in my mind all the time. I didn't even remember what it was though, 6 years after, until I clicked on it on the recommended... Now I'm going nostalgic again

Beautiful song and great talent of the artist, deserved to be at least in the top ten ... Greetings from Spain!
Such a great song! I am still listening to it in 2019. Salutations from Bulgaria! :)
Loved this one. Not heard it in a while but the lyrics come flooding back.
Sadly, watching this again i think i heard she was ill on the day.
I remember Graham Norton on the UK coverage saying as much, but she still did a great job. Combine that with an uninspiring staging and it sadly didn't do her justice.
Reminds me good old days
Should've known better
Now I miss you
Like Sahara misses rain
Changing like the weather
Maybe it's true
Maybe you're not gonna change
I feel like you have two homes
Yet I feel you are homeless
Where we live I feel like a stranger
When you home I feel even stranger
I live in no man's land
With no way home like you don't understand
Cuz you so here, you so there
Not really anywhere
She said
Should've known better
Now I miss you
Like Sahara misses rain
Changing like the weather
Maybe it's true
Maybe you're not gonna change
Feels like I'm always
Living out of my suitcase
What about all the years in between
Just trying to find my place
I live in no man's land
With no way home like you don't understand
Cuz you so here, you so there
Not really anywhere
She said
Shouting inshallah
Shouting inshallah
Shouting inshallah
She said
Shouting inshallah (oh)
Shouting inshallah (oh)
Shouting inshallah
We could've written words on a mountain high
Reminding ourselves to keep climbing, right
Sometimes we have to lose
A part of us to find the truth
Nothing more beautiful than the way
You use to breathe me to ya lungs and soul
Sometimes we have to say
I'm sorry I can't stay
Should've known better
Now I miss you
Like Sahara misses rain
Changing like the weather
Maybe it's true
Maybe it's true
Should've known better
Now I miss you
Like Sahara misses rain
Changing like the weather
Maybe it's true
Maybe we're not gonna change
Should've known better
Should've known better

Greetings from Kosova!
+Arjeta Beqiri She made it to the final but placed really bad, which is a shame. But still, Loreen deserved the win.

One of my faves from 2012 💖 Glad Ihan Haydar (the drummer) is back this year with REDDI ;)
11 years later I still have a crush on her. This song is so good ❤
2019 and this song is still my fav.
She is awesome! This song is the best of the Eurovision Song Contest in 2012. Soluna you are the winner for me! Best wishes from Hungary!!!
The best denmark entry ever!!! Soluna is incredible loreen is cool too i wanted 1 of those to to win i'm glad that sweden did win but denmark was one of my favourites in the contest that year and the song they had was incredible and stunning so i love soluna the best

This song in Eurovision was one of my favorites!
would be with the top 5.
From Sweden.
I prefer that to "Only teardrops", that's so lovely
Seeing her live this year in Ishøj was just amazing!
It felt like a dream come true
i wanted this song to win so bad back in 2012.
I love everything about this performance. Soluna should have been in top 10!!!
So underrated
Soluna is the Best!!! Waiting for many good songs from You!!!
I love this song ❤️
I started watching ESC in 2012, but I don't remember much of it. So today I thought I'd take a look at this year again ❤
I remember back in early 2012 when this was one of the first song in selection season and everyone went nuts for it. You can see why though.
I can't believe it. 3rd to last....Soluna was amazing!
I still listen...
Greetings from Azerbaijan
I still listen to this song... love it...
23rd place? Europe should’ve known better…
@@nielsturegroenlund it should have been in the top....
This is wonderfull... 🥳🥰🙏🙏🙏
This should´ve been Denmarks winning song, not 2013!
Soluna was my absolute favorite! I voted all 20 times for her and I was so disappointed she she ended up 4th to last. I was sure she'd make it into the top ten.. It's a shame, really. I still don't understand it. Deaf Europe is deaf.
One of the best Songs!
Beautiful song :)
Listened to it today (11 december 2017) for the first time.... One word ... Underrated
love that drummer!
This song and performance deserved to win ! I hope we hear a lot more from this girl
I thought this was brilliant :(
And it really is!!
I remember this song, it was the best song that year. So real, so touching, i love it
🇩🇰 🇩🇰 🇩🇰 & 🇬🇹 🇬🇹 🇬🇹
❤ ❤
Thanks so much ! I have been searhing for this kind of hat that i have noticed only on danish and swedish people :)
While I still think Loreen deserve the win but I don't agree this song to have low points. I mean seriously this is beautiful. I don't understand how come they seemed not liking this country-feel music and then gone crazy next year over The Common Linnets's After the Storm @.@ll
Perhaps because all the scandinavia-friendly points went to Sweden instead?
Tanja Brouwers well in 2014 Sweden also got a pretty high score so i wouldn‘t agree on that
The Netherland's one IS WAY BETTER.
@Stevenall Also in 2013, with *Just Because of yooouuuuuuu!*
@Stevenall in 2013 Sweden was 14th, while Romanian vampire was 13th place
