What a wonderful trophy!! 👍👍😀
What lever action did this ph hold? Very Interesting...
Going to Africa to fulfill a dream is not cheap. Raising a family, supporting a house, and a myriad of other issues breaks down a man.
Obviously, he wasn't a trust fund baby. He still had his dream, and he needed to see it through before being called by the Almighty.
It wasn't my choice of a hunt, but I'm not going to shit on his parade
Happy to know it but sad to have to say it out loud that I've never heard of a hunter that talked (bragged) about how many miles he DROVE to find a buffalo. Driving around in a Bokkie and sniping out of a herd from over 100 yards is not what real buffalo hunting is about. Neither is obsession with spread. I didn't see the up-close experience in the description. Nor did my heart pound, nor was there a close up impact shot. All I saw was South African game ranch (fenced/resident herd) shooting.
Unfortunately not all hunters is in a medical state of their lives where they can walk for miles every day. This specific hunter just came from a 2 year long back surgery. sometimes one must think before leaving a comment.
@@GetawayToAfrica-KaiwhaiSafaris And some must refrain from hyping-up game ranch shooting and pretending that it's actually hunting much less heart-pounding.
At the end of the day it all comes down to what the client want and is able to do. From a Caprivi Elephant hunt (Dont know if you have done that, 14 days walking any day) to a client requesting a life long dream hunt at his old age, after many surgeries, who are you to judge? He still got of the truck, he still walked a way (after he was not allowed medically to do it). Stop being a wiz and congratulate the hunter. There is a spot for everyone in this hunting world to enjoy.
Was that a 45-70 the ph had ?
Must be. It's a Marlin for sure.
No daout the beautiful buffalo.
I would be curious as to what ammo the PH uses in his Marlin 45-70,
What make and model was that lever action gun the guide was packing.
Is it in South Africa?
Goofy rifle made for range shooting.
PH with a lever action?
Yikes
Viel zu jung 😏
This was a truly false hunt on a fenced ranch, the PH did not even bother to carry a proper stopping rifle, the client( I can not call him a hunter), as with his choice of a plastic stock goofy rifle I do not think he can be a hunter, if we have to descend to hunting like this it is not worth the effort, especially when all we need to do is drive around someone's farm for a few laps. Awful!
Really good video 100%
Nice to see a PH carry the 1895 Marlin ..100%
Not for me.
VERY VERY NICE SHORT SIR
👌👍
