Hey, I don't mean to be critical but the Black Friday Kizer supposed 40% off at knife center is not right. The discounted prices are the same as everywhere else, including the Kizer store on Amazon. I checked about 10 knives. The worst thing is the list prices are shown to be much higher at the KC than at the Kizer store. This can mean 40% off at the KC and 17% off at Kizer Store are the same price, for example. As for this video, great job as usual. I could listen to you talk about knives for hours. Wait, I already have. I am primarily a Buck collector but was going to get some Kizers if the deal was good. But no. Meantime, hoping some juicier BF sales emerge.
Exactly! Cheapest im seeing any kizer sale is on amazon, alot of these sites mask sales with slashing msrp and posting them pretty much at retail, seems a bit deceptive
@Jesse Robinson I am new to the knife collecting world. KC seems like a good company and I like to give people the benefit of the doubt. But this seems fishy and, if true, don't like being, for the lack of a better word, conned.
DCA, here we are again third week in a row. I bought the Knife center exclusive Gemini button lock and Cold Steel Engage. You're fun to watch because of your manner of discussing knives and I really enjoy knives!!!
The GM-F4 is definitely our choice for ODC (Outback Daily Carry). Will take it out for a field test, a companion to our KaBar & Fox. Cheers DCA & Thomas. Warm greetings from Australia.
Perfect knife entertainment! You guys ( whether by design or chance) have found the late night tv format. A knowledgeable host and co-host plus a wise cracking bandleader. I would happily watch an hour long video of DCA and Seth doing FAQs that didn’t make the initial cut!
Pretty sure SRM is a sub brand or rebrand of SanRenMu knives. They've been around for 20+ years. They're pretty decent for the price ten years ago. I have an old SanRenMu 7010 in 8CR kicking around here somewhere.
The knife at 14:20 looks similar to Gil Hibben's Pro Folder. I have and LOVE that knife! I haven't ever found anything that gives me the feeling of Gil Hibben's folder. This one comes close, but not quite. I've been searching for a similar knife, but yet to find it.
Check out the srm Asika. The small is $60ish and normal size is $80ish. Titanium frame locks. 154cm. Amazing knives for double their priced. And the Titanium anodized perfectly. No 1will be upset. They have all bells and whistles. The lockbar cutout is on the inside. Only thing I could think to make better would be internal stop pin. But the stop pins are bigger than most would think
I'd say that's a slight reach, but I can understand the opinion. More like the tagged-out is a SRM knockoff since the SRM model was released in 2020. But I can see similar traits in both.

I have an srm with d2/axis style lock. It was $30. It's been a great knife and I have zero complaints about it. Pretty impressive for the price. The omega springs have actually lasted longer than any of my benchmades. It also falls shut with no blade play! I'm not saying it's in the same class as a BM, but it's a great tool. Oh, my! So many great new knives! I'm about to spring for the Boker Plus Nessi at $34 😍🤩 Definitely want the Pangolin. I'm excited to see KC carrying SRM, now!
Regarding the Microtech, aside from it being made in China (no thanks, at that price point), it has far too much visual "bling" with all that serrations/jimping on the back. I guess that I prefer a knife with cleaner lines, but that's my preference.
Hey David, love your knife reviews. I have a question. I need a replacement sheath for a case Bowie knife. Also one for a Western Bowie knife. Any suggestions for a affordable sheath? Do you guys cary anything like that?

DCA, Is there some sort of microcorrosion that causes knives to go dull in my knife drawer or is it the work of ghosts? Also, I really dig a Loveless style tapered tang. Are there any that are reasonably priced?
That rotating clip on the Reiff Knives F6 Leuku looks like it could fit molle webbing :). One might even have to slide a stick between the "teeth" behind the webbing to get the sheath off One's pack again.
The Nessmi? It feels small but smooth, he said it doesn't come with belt clip but it does, comes in a pretty nice box. Tricky getting it to clip into case, have to tip my blade up a little but for $40, hoping it's a good skinner.
$384 for a 6" 3V bog standard knife seems a bit ambitious, doesn't it? Especially for a startup to encroach on Bark River territory, without offering any discounted price.
