Hello and thank you for the video! :) I planted some elderberry in 2022. The plants are starting to produce. Is it possible to pick the berries and simply boil them, strain the boiled liquid, and mix in a little honey to taste and simply drink that (let's say 1 tablespoon per day)?
Oh my goodness, that's so cool you are getting elderberries! Yes, I would imagine that what you described would work just fine. I know with the syrup, adding in a certain amount of honey will act like a preservative. I imagine if you boil the berries with water and strain out the berries, if you consumed it quickly enough, there shouldn't be an issue with it going bad (getting moldy, etc). I know this response is almost a year late - what did you end up doing?

Thx
You're very welcome!
A paint mixing bag is the same thing as a nut milk bag. Costs a little less.
Is this food grade?
Interesting! I guess I don't do much painting, so am not familiar with this tool. Thanks for the idea!
