Not a project, but see if you can find a way/an "in", with older financial advisory companies or old non-for profits. They are usually quite far behind with the times and tech know how. (Smaller old companies). Feel like its a bit of an untapped resource for freelance work, as they like people who come recommended and are keen to upgrade their systems. *worked previously for one of these. Most of the company were elderly highly experienced people in their field, but needed lots of help with new tech and development. Good luck :)
Any! The key is to get any jobs to build a portfolio and experience. The process of building real projects will help you refine what type of work you’ll end up doing. Personally, I started with simple websites, then web apps and eventually was building custom edu apps for publicly traded companies. I used a huge range to tech and found myself using tools I never even heard of.
Uncle Stef, do many developers do the whole 'build a ton of blog websites, at least 50, if even 10 rank well on Google, you make money from AdSense & affiliate links'? Do you have any advice on that and are there better ways?
That’s an old hack that once worked. Problem is you need to produce quality content that people want to consume. It’s a lot of work! But if you are a gifted content creator… and you have something to say, it can work.
Quite alot of big businesses rely on microsoft's 365. Power platform blows their minds when they realise what you can do with it once its all connected to analytics/sharepoint and their CRMs. 365 Dynamics CRM development is big big $$$ by the way
Thanks
Welcome
Nice,
What kind of freelance projects would you recommend for someone familiar with web / web app development?

Haven't looked at it.
