As a chronically ill person it pisses me off that this guy, or anyone, would put so much money and time and resources into extending their own lives past the natural lifespan rather than doing anything to improve the quality of life for chronically ill people or cure diseases like cancer and dementia. Maybe let's start there before we allow rich dudes to avoid confronting their fear of death.
Rather than trying to "get time back" by reversing his aging, I think he should be trying to "get time back" with his son and other estranged family members.

soooooo i actually went to school for years with the son. i was really close with his cousin. when this news first began popping up a couple months ago, old childhood friends and i were sending this around in utter shock and disbelief that this was a guy we knew. we KNEW this family. i have friends who used to hang out on the son's house, had met the dad, eaten dinner with him before. and now this is where we are. it's one of those things where you realize how small the world is and how much everyone can change without you realizing....
