Nadal had the advantage @ 2 sets up but the way federer came back and took the match all the way was admirable
Check your facts. Nadal won, not Federer…

Golden era of 2 Titans at the top of their game
This match changed a lot of things ..
It made tennis world believe Federer is beatable and no more invincible..
The tennis world took a new step to a direction where it reached now .. with rafa and Novak ..
if this final was not won by rafa .. things would hv remained the same , bcoz of the way Federer was dominating tennis at the time and Federer would hv become the greatest player of all time ..
This match brought more belief to then new generation of players like Murray , wawrinka and tennis became more even and the competition became stronger..
Hats off to rafa once again for believing the impossible is possible of beating roger on grass .. which was not the case until this match .
He showed determination and courage and kept pushing roger and finally broke the deadlock .. by doing so he became the record holder for longest period as world No.2 .. this match indeed played a big role in tennis in a way of breaking certain mindset and taking new strides .
Thanks for an amazing comment
I have a feeling that we will never see this sort of rivalry anytime soon. Man their every shot meant something
The quality of tennis displayed in this match is simply unmatchable, against any other player they would have won 6-1, 6-1, 6-0 !!!!
Add to that, all the drama, anticipation since 07 final, legacy at stake, rain delays and suspense, the attitude and fight shown by the players and the fact that players being Rafa and Roger- in their 3rd consecutive Wimbledon final !!!!
I think I watched this 300 times by now
Who’s here after the semi final todsy
