I live in Western Massachusetts, a small rural town called Greenfield, in Franklin County... Although the politics here can get RIDICULOUS and the taxes are just ridiculously high, I LOVE my home. I worked for MJ Norton Security AND Midgard Security in Amherst. I was in Amherst working Security during the Superbowl in 2017 New England Patriots kicked some Atlanta Falcons ASS and boy was it CRAZY 🤣 We were even filming a little bit of Documentary about how INSANE she of these parties get in Amherst with three college students. Even had INSANE footage of the Blarney Blowout where there was tears gas, riot gear, police cars flipped over, smoke grenades going off... My ENTIRE LIFE revolved around Western Massachusetts. When they say Cambridge is a tiny town it's in square miles I think it's like 5 square miles but it has about 120.000 people in it and mid rise buildings everywhere a tiny town is a couple of hundred to a few thousand people.
Wow. Are u serious !!! Cmon !! I've been in almost every one of these It's amazing to me which city was no. 1 They didn't mention Weston. Very nice. High income. Very low crime almost non existent. Sudbury Weston Newton and Waltham are all next to each other. I will say there are some real beautiful places here. To young people planning a family any of those I mentioned are good places to raise children. And very easy to reach Boston or Cambridge. This video made me realize just how nice it is in Mass.
The education. The health care. The coast. The beauty. The food. The history. Live somewhere else. When you walk out your door - you’re wherever that is.

Fishing flourished long before agriculture, which never really took off.
6 of these are some of the most expensive places to live in the state. Having grown up close to and currently living close to most of those 6 I can tell you that you don't even want to shop in those towns if you don't look like you belong.
You are talking in the 1990’s when the rent was between 700 to 1200 cost for two bedrooms... now the rent here is cuádruple the cost... it is so crazy and the taxes forget about it. There are olenty of more affordable and more exciting places to live in Massachusetts then just about every city and town on this list.
That’s a bit of misleading here. Waltham will never be the #1 place to live in MA based on the crime, overall household income and the terrible school system.
My city's where real everyday people are living Worcester Framingham Lowell Lawrence Parts of Boston but the normal people are being forced out or into the projects New Bedford fall fiver Fitchburg Leominster Springfield Holyoke Pittsfield revere Chelsea Brockton Quincy Lynn even this are getting to expensive but that's where average people are living.
