Some video suggestions are a firewalld video, and a deep dive into file management. Or maybe how all the pieces work together. Id love to see some more backend side of things from you. Great method of teaching
Very nice walkthrough; thank you! It would be nice to also do a video of exposing (in a secure way) those containers and use them as separate services (with their own dedicated URL etc.)
I wonder how we'd make a PWA of a KASM... cuz i would rather have it in a different "app"and shortcut ... and under a different chromim profile dedicated to KASM... especially if i have multiple KASM windows.... also wondering if I install the community edition on my local server.... and use IPv6 (if possible) .. how can i make it so thqt i can access my KASM over the internet..
Hi Jay. Absolutely interesting video as I have deployed KASM on my PVE server 1 week ago, but I'm a little bit overwhelmed with all the settings. So would it be possible to elaborate in further video(s) the different settings more in detail, as well as eventually deploy it on more servers. Many thanks so far!
HELP.. I was trying to go from umbutu to lmde 6. The old computer loaded umbutu fine, I used a USB stick it install lmde6 and now it won't boot.. gives an error that it can't find a bootable file....
Interesting concept. I am sure someone out there has something similar built into there system. Having said that, what would you suggest as a real minimum ram / cpu / HDD space needed for this type of system on a bare metal computer. I could see something that KASM may even sell laptops with this already installed. thanks for the video! Really cool to see in action :)
Thanks, this was sitying in my saved for later list for a while, looks like enough of what I need is in the primary registry that this might be really useful. I'll have to roll this out in my lab when I get a few minutes next week.
How can I get it to run more than 1 container at once, like you are running 2 at once. From what I see in the config, 5 at a time is default... but if I try to load a second one it says no resources available. But the VM running KASM has more than 20GB ram avail and CPU is only at 3%, so what other resource is "not available"?
Sound like an effective solution to run browser sessions, i have for example a chrome instance running inside a ubuntu vm. But i'm unhappy with it tbh, the browser crashes from time to time and i configured systemd already to auto-restart it. But i donno how KASM deals with passwords and logins in general, the site i want to run to collect points requires an relogin and i would love to automate that as well. But i donno how i can achieve that automatically with kasm
I enjoy your content quite a lot. Is there a way to keep settings so that one doesn't have to reconfigure again and again? I realize a browser sandbox is useful but I am thinking of setting up a dev environment with vscode.
I can't login into kasm from my Chromebook that's installed on my Linux laptop in a Ubuntu server after installing. I get a login error and in my console it says I got a ssl error

Thanks, Jay! A multi server installation video would be awesome. This product looks nice for a home lab or a business.
What was that website back in the late 90's that ran a linux distro in a webpage?

What is the root password of the virtual desktops if needing to install a new application?
great video, thx
Sir can you tell us what is your daily Linux distro
You need to update the review video to include the link to this one as promised.
Thanks
That great :P
Please use bigger fonts like you have used before
Please do DOCKER from behind a proxy.
I might consider that in the future
@@LearnLinuxTV: I thought that Kasm was going to be deployed by creating a sever that I wont be spending any mony in the process?
