People like to rec Daesungs Anymore, which is AMAZING, but its more of a hidden gem. His most popular song and songs by far are his trot songs, and I think youd love the performance of them. Look at me gwisoon by daesung, both the MV and the live performances (id recommend the fantastic duo 2 performance) are amazing at showing his showmanship.
GD is great dancer he’s the most flexible in Bigbang too hes just not into dancing much he just vibing
U should check Bullshit by him also he’s the only korean solo artist who had the biggest tour there was like 600k plus people in his tour
I knew you'd notice GD's dancing! No one dances like him in Kpop. His dancing style is recognized as the most effortless and laid back while also hitting every beat (which as a dancer you know it took years of training to be able to do so). Thing is his gestures and body language is so recognizable that we VIP's can immediately tell it's him without seeing his face (like in his Vibe challenge with YB) XD. For Bigbang week part two I highly suggest their more choreography heavy MV/live performance like Bad boy or A fool of tears. Thank you for watching and loving Bigbang!

Lollipop was a commercial song for LG new handphone at that time LG Lollipop, the hp was colorful hence the video was colorful. There were 2 songs for this. Lollipop 1 only Big Bang. Lollipop 2 BB+2ne1.
At the top of my head right now. Another Big Bang campaign song was for the brand FILA. They was their ambassador for couple years. BB performed that song in their concert too. It's a fun song.

Lollipop is a good way to segue into 2NE1 and CL (I think she was the musical female version of GD) CL (Baddest Female, Lifted, Hello, Bitches, etc) is now a solo star and is in America doing her thing and she is awesome.
Also, you may not know YG was home to many pop idols and the the biggest was, PSY - Oppa, Gangnam style, Got it from my daddy, etc... When he left YG he started his own production company called, P-Nation where he signed (former), HyunA & Dawn, Jessi - Who dat B, Zoom, etc... So if you get a chance - this just made you roster a bit longer - sorry but it's good music...
That Fantastic Duo performance is my second favorite reimagining of Eyes, Nose, Lips. Number one is definitely Tablo’s (with Taeyang doing the final chorus all in English). Even the intro gives such angst and slam poetry vibes, I love it… you left me paralyzed, no cure no rehab for me, funny that you got the nerve to keep asking me, how I’ve been… you’re the victor in this tragedy, but the only trophy you deserve, catastrophe

Taeyang is performing with his fan and contestant winner, Rhythm Gangster (her name in the contest) I believe that they only had an hour to rehearse this arrangement together. I love how he doesn't take the limelight, but gives her the space to showcase her skills. I get goosebumps too, but.....they only came 2nd!!! (First place was also good - adifferent type of song)

Sorry for the very late comment, but Daesung has had quite a few opportunities of screen time via variety with other second gen idols around 2007-2010. i mention it because you said you enjoyed variety shows, and a lot of his interactions have been with the groups you’ve been covering or outright are fans of, including: TVXQ, 2PM, SNSD, 2NE1, Kara, T-ara, Brown Eyed Girls, Park Jinyoung himself, and a lot more. Mostly through Family Outing, but there’s a funny bit with Taecyeon where he parodied a scene from Secret Garden on Night After Night.
