BIGBANG has a bunch of explict songs, they even topped charts with these songs wich not occur in South Korea, but they can do that. BIGBANG is probably the groups with the most melancholic and sad songs in KPOP lmao. Everyone can write fun stuff but sad and tragic stuff? Just with expeience and thats prove how autentic are BIGBANG songs.

I just LOVE the Tokyo Dome concert. They do almost all their songs in Japanese when they perform there. And speak in Japanese too during the fan interactions. I love them so much. They are completely out of my usual genre (cause I love Pink Floyd, Nick Cave, Bowie, Prince) but they somehow snuck in, captured my heart, and completely and utterly wrecked me. Taeyang's voice especially sends me over.

I think Bigbang songs don't have curse words but GD solo songs has which he can't promote on live broadcast but he sings it on his concerts. I only remember three songs which are Light it up, Bullsh*t and Middle fingers up

Most kpop songs are clean coz they can't promote the songs live in Korean public channels if there are curse words or suggestive lyrics.
Even BigBang didn't get away with it. I'm just unsure of the specific songs but I know they were banned promoting several songs on live broadcast.
For requests, Zutter live in Japan (with eng subs).
But if I want to check another group: AKMU they're a brother sister duo. They're sooo good. They're so good they can make songs out of random books (I think that's in knowing brothers show).

TOP wears an up-turned Dali style moustache at this point in the mv and TOP really likes Dali's work. I'm a fearless dreamer so hope you include Last Dance, If You live in Bangkok, Tonight, Fool of Tears, Love Song, Blue in future reactions.

Just the other day I discovered the cover of " I Love You" by 2ne1 (I'm excited about the upcoming reaction to 2ne1 too) I'm a fearless dreamer 👍
They had Number One with Japanese versions of 11 of their songs and 3 English versions, Big Bang with 2 Japanese versions of their songs and 12 new Japanese songs, and Big Bang 2 with 4 Japanese translations and 6 new Japanese songs; those albums all have a lot of English rap lines. Then they released Japanese versions of their albums Alive and Made which were just translations and had Japanese rap lines. Pretty much every Daesung song is in Japanese under his Japanese stage name D-LITE. G-Dragon released a Japanese compilation album Coup D'Etat [+ One of a Kind & Heartbreaker]. Taeyang released Solar: International with 4 English versions of his songs.
Fun fact: The two ceo's, Yang HS (YG ent. Bigbang) and Park JY (JYP ent. 2pm) would have ' friendly rivalries' by pitting their artists against each other, like a battle. This happened with Bigbang vs 2pm pre- debut. The winner Bi... 😊 The two groups have never collabed.

TOP is DEEP AF. His lyrics are DEEPER than Hades. GD and TOP are rappers who are known for their poetic and political with mind blowing sentence structure, double/triple entendres, cadences and flows. It's INSANE 🙃.

Secondly, the Doom Dada video is a work of art, quite literally. Both TOP and GD have a deep love for art, I’d say maybe TOP more so due to his family. And you’re right it was 2001: A Space Odyssey for the movie reference. Also he was/is an actor. Lol he was in one of my favorite K-dramas back in the day called Iris. He’s done quite a bit more acting beyond just that show but I remember it being a huge deal at the time.

Bigbang songs were all good and live performances are on different level. Lies is the song that made bigbang and Gd wrote when he was 11 and supposedly his solo but yg ask him to gave it to Bigbang, it won song of the year and the rest is history!

20:03 Yes! Seungri is almost always as the harmony in the background, his voice suits well with every member of the group. I remember that when a first listen to them in 2011 I always mistake Gdragon and Seungri cuz sometimes they sound alike.
