Where there is a Dragstrip, there are Smokeys ;) Never ceases to amaze me the size difference from the Alt modes of the FTs to the XTBs & DX9s then to see it in 'Bot mode as well. WOW!

This is nice, but I'll admit, my eye was twichin' at that unintentionally mis-matched knee. Of all the 3rd Party Menasors, I think Fans Toys might win the Menaswars. Depends on their combine mode. But so far their individual figures are really nice. I know there's some who aren't about Motormaster's all-in-one transformation, and I dunno if I'm crazy about his trailer being on his leg, but overall even I'm tempted to buy these guys, and I've been out of the 3ed party collector game for years. But we'll see how much I'm grabbed by the final product.
To me, I don't mind chrome in Transformers, especially where it looks good like on the rims and engine block, and even on MP-39 Sunstreaker. But TOO much chrome makes it look kinda cheap. At least to me.
Does he not transform into a Menasor's arm? If he doesn't, well, is that a sign that the full set won't even combine and they'll all just be individual bot? 'cause that would be very disappointing
Yes they will combine. There’s just no combination instructions with the individual figures so I’m assuming they’ll be included with the last component.

I like menasor's design but what i dont like is how he was formed, unlike other combiners he does not need extra cons to form the limbs, the stunticons kind of only serve as armor other than that, it just makes motormaster stand as his own robot giant, maybe the other stunticons power the limbs? Idk the concept just sounds weird imo. And if the stunticons do serve as armor it serms likely the leg portions do, i mean they are facing back when they should face front if they want to be "armor", That's just my take on it.
@@MajorVonToaster there are other incarnations which have the others forming the arms and feet, like the IDW and the G1 version seen in the Japanese illustrations done by Studio OX (which usually follow more the G1 toys rather than the cartoon animation models, even if the original toy, where Breakdown and Wildrider were the actual legs, were just put with the car bodies facing the back (it was possible.to configure otherwise))

There is extra joints and stuff in a panel behind the knee that allow it to become part of the elbow bend when Smokey becomes an arm.

Why is one of his knees shiny and the other one isn't?
It's for the elbow joint,for when he becomes an arm in combined mode. There is some extra pieces in that knee that allow for it to move a certain way.
