  • “Everything starts with a desire” and Moruca resident Lanzer Fernandes with the help of his brother Mario has turned his childhood passion for Chinese food into a thriving business. After honing his skills at Georgetown Chinese restaurants, Fernandes transformed a former grocery store into his culinary dream in 2022. Starting small, he persevered through the pandemic by focusing on building relationships and perfecting his menu. Today, Golden Rincon offers delicious and affordable Chinese cuisine to a diverse clientele, and Fernandes has ambitious plans for expansion, with potential franchises across Guyana on the horizon. This is his story…

Good luck with your business. Try your best to buy your vegetables from local farmers or encourage them to grow what you need.
