So proud of the University for acknowledging and honoring its "namesake" people. What a noble and complex heritage. Grateful to the tribal members, the drum, dancers, and MC for sharing their culture. We need more of this. (A note to Ute fans: please stand when Native Elders are introduced; Utes show deep respect for their golden ones--and we should, too.)
