If you're having reboot issues, song missing issues, crashing, UA-cam not working, etc..... try our step by step guide !
YOU WILL NEED A USB MOUSE AFTER FACTORY RESETTING!! YOUR TOUCHSCREEN WILL NOT WORK.
Song Scanning (Fixes most issues)
Select Service - Settings - System Maintenance - Song Scan
Factory Reset (Last Resort)
1) Service - Settings - System Maintenance - Other Settings - Factory Reset
2) Plug in USB mouse
3) Change language back to english in Service
Touchscreen fix
4) Settings - System Maintenance - Other Settings - Setup System
5) Change touchscreen band rate to 9600
6) Update to latest firmware using our other guides
All Firmwares here: Make sure you check your serial number!!! Using the wrong number will result in a bricked system.

Hi Raymond, thanks for the instruction. If you've already downloaded a few song from cloud to local, is the factory reset going to remove all the new songs? Also, each time you turn on the machine it updates the songlist -- are those "new" songlists removed as well? Thanks.
I did a factory reset, got everything back except google and youtube. I'm currently on version: cv96x1_V4.4_2.19. I've tried almost everything and I can't get youtube loaded back on this box. Can you help me?
HI Ray From beginning my system no any problem at all, but i don't like the recent up grade setting , so I try to reset the system back to factory original setting. After i push the factory reset icon, my karaoke go to completely does't work at all, one rectangle bar appear on the center screen and no any responds with any touch, can you teach me how to fix it, thanks
How do you connect the mouse? I plugged in usb but it doesn’t show up.
Machine switch on. Unable to proceed. Every button does not respond.
The touch screen is locked. Can’t go to service menu. How can I unlock or re-enable touch screen? It also show message if I push button in the back of touch screen, hit “menu” then “auto” to unlock

Thank you, Raymond. I will give your suggestions a try. If I understand you correctly, a faulty hard drive could prevent the system from giving out video output signal, right? Just wondering if you would sell a V5 Pro stand alone without the touch screen? And do you ship to Canada? Thanks.
A faulty drive will prevent boot up, and yes I do sell the 503 desktop unit which is without a touchscreen. And yes we do ship to Canada , just add me on wechat : magicray1028
My system wont boot up to the home screen. Just stuck on loading. Any suggestions??
You either have a corrupted harddrive or a damaged motherboard . Repair is $400+

Hi Ray - thank you very much for this on the touchscreen issue! Will give it a try and hopefully it solves my issue after reboot. I have two mics but now only one mic works at any one time - I will have to turn one off for the other to work. Any suggestions on how to resolve this? Thank you!
Both mics are on the same frequency , have to change one

Raymond I have the KV--V5 pro hooked up to our TV with Bose sound system. Everything works except the Mics ? Kind of useless with no mics any suggestions. Thanks

Great video Raymond! Have ever seen an issue when using the web interface on your phone, the singer list would not change as I go through the categories like TWMen from All. Do you know if a factory reset will help? Thanks

@@raymonddai I bought it at a Canadian dealer. Just thought to ask you since you seem pretty knowledgeable about these machines. I'm pretty sure it's nothing hardware but an software issue.

You need a firmware update , that issue was fixed a while ago
@@raymonddai I checked the label on the machine and the model says KV-V5 PRO and the serial number starts with 0908, the software version is F99s_V1.6_2.87. I was guessing the firmware is the cause. Thanks for the answer Raymond! I found your link to the firmwares. Thanks for sharing!
Scan fail. Then what should I do? Your video show scan success. But mine shows scan fail… so my question is, what’s my next time? I already tried restore factory setting.

You did a wonderful job in this video. I have a question... When I rebooted to factory settings, I lost the UA-cam icon in the tope left corner. How do I bring that back?
So when you factory reset it went back to the original China firmware , you will need to update it to the international version again. If your serial number starts with 0909 you need to use this firmware to get UA-cam back. I want to emphasize you must have serial 0909 or else it will brick. Hi I have a KV503, was working fine then the touch screen failed to turn on one day. I tried the reset button next to the HDMI port as mentioned below but no difference. The power supply is on and powering up the base unit just nothing at the screen. Any ideas please?
Either the vga output isn’t connected, or the touchscreen is off. There’s a little button underneath to turn it on. Or the lower supply for the touchscreen is dead . If the hdmi output to the tv still working?
@@raymonddai I connected the HDMI output to a Television and there is what looks like an advertisement but it is all in Chinese. I don't get anything on the touchscreen and I can not find any button to turn it on. There are two small slots on the bottom that look like it might be for a screwdriver to pry the rear plastic cover off? The VGA cable is connected to the box but as you know the cables out of the touchscreen ( 3 cables) came connected with no obvious access in the back.
@@sharonoconnor7099 sounds like you have a bad motherboard and a bad touchscreen. needs replacement.

I was wondering if you would know why my machine keeps starting up again when I try to go to my favorite and enter the collection number? I had to create a new collection number and readd all my favorites again...this happened a few times already.
Phoshirley hi Shirley thats a known bug with the 4.3.2.4 version of the firmware , you can resolve it by either creating a new collection , or doing a factory reset using this method then upgrading to the latest firmware in my other youtube video. Feel free to message me for details on this
@@raymonddai yes, can you please provide more details. I have upgraded the firmware to 2.5 and it's still the same. Also I don't see the themes app and the favorites still requires me to enter the collection number.

The original setting password has been changed the new one, which has been forgotten.
You’ll need to do a hard reset by pressing the little button next to the HDMI port while booting up

Hi Raymond, I have an InAndon KV-i5 system. Today, I tried turning it on. The Power light was on, and there was no video signal from both the HDMI and VGA. I tried replacing my HDMI cable to see if that would make a difference, but to no avail. Is my system toasted? Do you have any suggestions that I can try? Is the issue repairable or worth repairing? i5 is a rebranded V5 Plus system. Is there any signal to your touchscreen at all? are you using the correct 12V 5A power supply? there is a small reset hole next to the HDMI port, you can try holding that down with a pin while powering on and see if it can boot. If not your motherboard might be fried
Thanks for your prompt response. The power adaptor output is 12v 2.5A which came with the system. There is no signal to the touch screen either. The system has been working fine up until today. I will try your suggestion. Thanks again.
@@goloben2734 usually a 2.5a supply is barely enough , you may want to buy a 12v 5a on amazon and test , otherwise your options are to try and replace the drive or replace the whole base unit, the touchscren is probably still fine
Having the same issue after 2 months of working fine. No picture on hdmi but audio comes through to tv via hdmi. No video on VGA to touchscreen. Will probably call them for warranty repair. Power supply works and has the right voltage and amp.

Under Service there is an icon "Manual" but nothing happens when pressing it
It’s not in service , on the main screen there’s an icon on the left of the small music video called analog or digital . Press that

@@raymonddai My WeChat didn't work. My machine is the KV-503 Pro. The bottom has Home, Pause, Skip, Guide (that doesn't work), Replay, then the small scree, then Mute, Volume, Playlist and WeChat. I don't see digital/anolog anywhere
Thanks Raymond ,when and why you need to do that ,if reset does everything back to when you first got the V5 ,and all the songs you add will be gone ?
Joseph ws Ng resetting will not affect your song library at all , but your favorites and public playlist will be empty . It’ll default play a video about the dangers of drugs , so you’ll have to add some songs to the public playlist
