- In this tutorial i'm sharing with you how you can setup remote access to a ZKTeco device from anyware in Internet using zktime 5.0 or zkteco attendance management program.
Steps include :
Setup IP Address and Gateway on ZKTeco device
Configure Port Forwading on the router using device port 4370/TCP
Add ZKTeco machine with Public ip address
Configure DDNS on the router and add ZKteco device with DNS hostname

Hello, I have a problem with remote access using Huawei HG8245H5. It works fine with other routers like ZTE but not this one. I would really appreciate it if you have an idea what the problem might be.
can I connect in different location remotly for example one is at USA and one is at France.
just wanna know, those configuration will be done in other network? or i need to configure it in my network before i can access it to other network??
You need to do those configuration in the same network where the zkteco device is connected.

@@amineamin6701 أولا يجب ضمان اتصال جهاز البصمة و الكمبيوتر عن طريق الواي فاي (لقد قمت بتسجيل فيديو خاص حول هذا الموضوع للتو سيكون على القناة هذه الليلة إن شاء الله بعد اتمام المونتاج فيه كافة التفاصيل مشروحة).
ثانيا بخصوص الإتصال عن بعد عليك التأكد أن الايبي الخارجي الظاهر في إعداد الوان في الروتر هو نفسه الظاهر في الموقع canyouseeme.org وايضا إذا قمت بتجربة رقم البورت 4370 على الموقع يجب أن تكون النتيجة إيجابية success.

Yes but you need to set the port forwarding of each device in the router settings and each device must have a different IP address on the same local network. Also Be careful if you have two or more devices connected on the same router, you need to change the port number 4370 to different port.

I didn't configured this router before, but you need to find an option called Virtual server or Port forwarding in the settings then you can add your zkteco device Port number 4370 and its IP address there.

I want to know that how to see the data in two or three Computer with ZK Time 5.0 ?
That's mean one device, I want to see like two or three computer in same network
Its that possible same database see two PC with ZK Time 5.0 Create in login user or another way if i install SQL Database can it possible?
The only way is using SQL server database with the software. The database is installed on one of them acting as server then you create super administrator in the software to allow you to add two more users. And on the other computers you just install the software and set the database connection with the server.

No sir, this software is only designed for zkteco devices. The other devices from other brands have their own software
When port forwarding do i port forward to the local ip of the zkteco machine or the pc hosting it?

If you want to add your thumb from your computer without going to the device, you need to use a USB fingerprint reader with attendance software.

if you connect to your device in the local network (LAN) then you can connect remotely to it.

No sir without router you can't remotely access to zkteco devices

@@canerenginol3118 yes you can use it with the router without internet so you can connect the device to your computer
@@canerenginol3118 Ohh i see now,, the SA40 is not like the other devices, it's called "Standalone Access Control device" that means it doesn't have network connection. This kind of devices is used and programmed without any network connection or software and also it doesn't give you any information about users access time.
just want to know, if your service provider changes its public IP address, will you be able to use the same IP that you configured in zktime?
Of course not, you will need the new IP address, but if it changes everyday then you have to use the ddns service instead of the IP address to make sure you can always connect to your zk device
@@ZKTIMETUTOS thanks for your reply. can this be applied with the new Biotime 8.0 program? i'm new to this program and would really appreciate your thoughts on this. since for it to add device, you need to have the public IP address . so my scenario is, I have 2 devices one is outside of my network, using a different service provider. if I set up the DDNS . would the IP address that I used change or not? cuz if my understanding with the DDNS , you'll have a fixed domain instead of the IP address, it would only update the new ip address but same domain. your thoughts on this will be highly appreciated.
what I mean is , it asks for the IP address, instead of the domain. if I follow your steps near the end of the video. can this be applied to the new application Biotime? by going to the database?
@@vincesunga9987 About Biotime this software works in different way, you need to configure the device to use ADMS or WDMS option to register itself into the Biotime.

Good work how do you connect more than one devices
1- if the devices are in different locations and each one with a different router, the configuration is the same as in the video.
2- if more than one device is connected to the same router, you have to change the port number and the IP address of each device and then add each one in the router configuration.
So using this nat protocol can still connect two routers together, right?
Can you explain more your situation? How these two routers are connected? Are they in the same location or in different remote sites?

how to make the public ip as static ip address because every time i restarted our internet always change and the device will become disconnected.
you can't make it static by yourself because it's provided by your ISP and it always changes, so you have 2 options :
1 - purchase a static IP from your ISP and you have to pay it every month
2 - Use a free Dynamic DNS service such as noip.com as I did in the video, and in this case you will use an address like "device.ddns.net" insted of IP Address. (just make sure your router supports the DDNS function)

If the port is blocked by the service provider , then this it will not work .
Yes that's right, it will not work, unless you find an unblocked port and use it for your device.

Yes of course, the P160 has a network connection so it can be reached from internet

Service type is not important, you can choose custom or manual or user setting depending on your router. you can enter whatever you want in service name if you have .

All ZKTeco device that supports network connection.
Can i connect 4 devices
Yes you can, but you need to set a different IP addresses and different ports number than 4370 for the other devices.

You can connect to device with the software and click Initial device in Properties
