    58:34 you PROMISED to take a moment in forge rooms. Gotta admit I got a good chuckle from this one. Love to see Pops get some attention they are underrated.

    The amount of times I was saying to the screen put the pops after the book because each book can summon 5 pops each LOL

    Some thoughts on where your build ended up:
    There is a pretty low limit on the number of Pops even with Merlin's Beard, and because you were rapidly casting Shooting Star to summon them, you were basically sacrificing them before Troll Serum had any reason to matter, both because you were instantly killing them, and because bosses would be instantly killing them too. They only live for a second or two, they don't end up having any use for health regen, and barely any use for the extra health.
    Even Soul Link nearly became completely irrelevant by the end other than having them stay with you between rooms, as you were only giving them about 43 HP.
    A simple Damage Boost would have actually done you quite a lot of good, because you could basically double-dip with Duet: Pops would get boosted both by Damage Boost and part of the extra damage Shooting Star would gain through Duet, provided it was to the left of Shooting Star.
    If your only goals for Shooting Star are the damage transfer through Duet and rapidly summoning Pops, I think you might have been better off putting all Multishots to the Right of Shooting Star, so you only fire one Shooting Star, but that then spawns X number of Pops. You lose some of the Shooting Star damage, but you save mana for firing more of them to summon more Pops, which seems better when playing into Indomitability. All of the Pops should still get the full damage boost from Duet. I could be wrong though, maybe having one of the Multishots in front of the Shooting Star causes the following Multishot+Pops to spawn more than it would the other way, it's not something I've tested.
    Toward the end, Parasites might have been one of your best damage increases, though they come with the downside of getting insanely laggy when summons spawn and die so rapidly. I'm hoping maybe someday we can get the attack speed part without the laggy bug swarm.
    Cadaver Explosion could have even been a potentially significant damage increase, with how rapidly the Pops would spawn and die anyway.
    This still ended being an absolutely ridiculous build in the end anyway. The gigantic black jellybeans covering the screen are delightful.
    On just the run itself:
    Seeing Merlin's Beard so early when it's perfect for the build you're aiming for but you don't have the health to get it is heart-breaking.
    Also seeing you spend a couple minutes sorting out making space for more spells, ending up with exactly 3 spaces, then just leaving 3 spells on the floor that you could have taken with you and rerolled kinda hurt my soul (other than Uniform Scattering because this build really had no use for it and you can't reforge it).
    I also notice you tend to keep avoiding Volley, when it can make a lot of the more complex chain reactions of spells significantly cheaper, especially as you add more spells and Multishot to them.
    Build suggestions:
    Nothing concrete, I've been playing way less than you, but because you keep avoiding them, I want to challenge you to specifically play with Volley, Split, Dazzling Firework, Serial, and Arcane Nova, creating more complicated spell combos. I've been trying to find combinations that make sense for Serial, but the fact that it constantly consumes mana when it fires out extra spells makes it really hard to work with.

      I appreciate all the feedback, and I especially appreciate all the thoughts on the build. One thing I WILL note is that I was going for the Indomitability++ for the 8 seconds of extra pop time after they die, it REALLY adds up. The reason I was holding onto all the health ups for so long was because I wanted to use them for the new troll guy, which does damage based on your summon's health amounts. I should have pushed for more cadaver explosion when I didn't get him though. I really like the way collapse crystal works with summons, it applies the effect when they die. I need to do a bit more research with it though.

      @@bwhatsonn Indomitability definitely made sense, because they were certainly not living long enough to do anything otherwise. It was basically the only way to guarantee they have any uptime at all. I hadn't managed to pick up the Troll summon yet, so I had no idea he scaled off their health, so that makes more sense. And that Collapse Crystal interaction with the summons merging was definitely unexpected, and surprisingly strong.

    Other ways for duet to go is with Water Bubble, Adava Keravda or Old Coin itself (bubble is very slow but great with soul link).
    You can try a parasite build with books summing more books. The faster they expire the better; damage will come from parasites.
    It would be funny to do mimic cube on troll to have the 2nd troll fire the first troll as a projectile.
    I had a crazy fun build with hammers with as many multi-cast and split as I could, also range enhanced and Enlarge Spell. The hammers were covering the entire screen at all times doing 300k DPS; it was quite funny. If I only got that unique which reduces size but increases damage...
    Can you figure something out for End Teleport? I have no clue in what build that would be even remotely useful.

    Nice I love pops, I hate to backseat BUTTTT parasite is a really powerfull multiplier, and keep in mind that trolls blood always Regen more than the parasites of the same level, you just need two parasite+ to double your damage, literally the value of 3 spells rooms, besides that with that secondary wand setup you can put spell echo on the summons and they will cast wherever you want burning that mana into something useful and funny, I like magic bullet++ as the 100% more damage debuf is really powerfull or something else you may find powerfull/funny
    As build recommendations I would like to see a booksception with pillars,(keep an eye open for the rare that gives de pillars an attack) technically every book could summon 24 pillars if you balance the times/mana cost/mana Regen/duration (the spell that make minions spirits after death is really powerfull, and more so with book, as they keep casting after death)

    Is there a reason to not lock common+ or rare+ spells for the next spell selection, just for rerolling? Still better than a common or rare without upgrade, right?

      sometimes when i have a specific build in mind and a certain amount of money i tend to steer away from grabbing too many things to reroll. unless you have a very tight ban list or plenty of cash it just isn’t sustainable. i could probably hold on to a few more but if i already have some stuff to reroll that might not be as “valuable” i tend to not wanna lock spells so i can get more chances at what I want. sometimes i just don’t really think hard enough in the moment though
