my favorite part of magicraft has been, well, crafting magic LOL. learning all the little interactions and discovering cool synergies for them has really tickled my brain in a way that no game has for a very long time. not many creators cover the game, and of them you're the only one who really replied to my comments and made it a conversation rather than just talking to a brick wall. watching your content has inspired several of my own runs which is really great because otherwise I definitely would have stopped theory crafting after learning about the SSA+LD build. the game would have gotten stale quite fast. also love how you dont beat yourself up over little mistakes and instead laugh them off. keep up the good work man!
If the magic building is what you really like, I’d recommend checking out a game called Noita, the wand building is very similar to, except you can break it much, much more than magicraft
The compounding mess of area boosts and Mimicry Cubes is honestly kind of hilarious, especially when a tiny change dumped half your inventory on the ground. You might have been able to gain a tiny bit of value somewhere if you checked to make sure whatever Area Boosts were applied last were Area Boost + and the Mimicry Cube after them was also a + so it copied a better version of the first spell on each wand. 51:14 Surprised you didn't at least take the Heirless over Defiant Nature before you left just for the extra 5-6 slots. if nothing else, more space for area boosts, to go with all your area boosts. You also could have put the Penetration+ in front of Shooting Star Arrow so that it would also be able to hit multiple times. It would slightly delay your Wisps spawning, but it would add some damage. I'm hoping in the future they change the wands with locked spells to allow you to rearrange the locked spells within the wand, and maybe add a Rare/Epic relic that unlocks all wand-locked spells so you can do whatever you want with them. And also figure out how to optimize the game to handle large numbers of spells better, so Arcane Nova ever has a chance to be fun. One run gave me two in a row and I basically didn't get to use them.
@@KingfisherMC One of my favorite things about this game is that you can throw together a terrible Kitchen Sink build that just has like 7 spells chained together plus Volley, Over Scatter and Track, and it can be really strong despite being a bunch of cobbled together nonsense. One of my least favorite things about this game is how adding a single Over Scatter, Multishot or Arcane Nova can cause framerate to be best measured in frames per minute.
I have a request: I would like to see Overscatter++ used for more than just its cooldown properties. I have no idea what the point of this silly spell is. Why would you ever need to simultaneous cast 8 spells? I suspect there's some degenerate use case I must be missing. Perhaps you can figure it out.
if use in bian sword passive you can shoot more sword per spell cast (normally one) when you have about 1000+ sword and level 3 scatter it almost oneshot anything

@@kylekisling8118 funny enough, i was drawn to magicraft explicitly BECAUSE i heard it had a similar spell system to noita lmao
I still need to actually win a noita run, maybe that could be a fun stream idea!
Awesome run! The new spells really add some depth to the runs, keep them coming!

I actually have a really funny idea with arcane nova now

100 TH EPISODE WOOHOO🎉🎉
couldn't have done it without you all!
here is a tip with those puzzles, you keep hitting two sides or 2 corners when you should be hitting all four corners/sides
i'll keep it in mind, those puzzles are always the last thing on my mind when I hit them, lol
3:54 you missed a chest in the bottom right there always so hidden
Question: Why in the world are the rune hammers doing this 32:06
when you have split with hammers it gets wacky movement, top that off with the speed increase and you end up with that brain jumbling mess
