Nice payday. I noticed when you were filling the buckets. You didn’t tare out the green bucket. Maybe that was the difference in your weight and theirs. 🎉🎉✌️😎
My friend had stripped a bunch of Romex and took a bunch of copper pipe from a old house with permission. Knows nothing about scrapping. I told him to cash out this week to be safe. He got a $800 payout while prices are high. He did good.
The video I've been waiting for. Lots of scratch for that copper! I've always wondered what they would pay for melts. I'm still holding mine, but I don't have near what you do lol. @TuliTuli check this out!
The melting part is just a hobby. #1 and #2 copper are very close in price so if you strip your wire and get #2 for it you'll be very happy with the payout.
Not to disagree we all have good reasons to sell. For me I cant see turning in something that will likely go up in overall value for something that is pretty much garenteed to keep losing value. I do sell the stuff that is just too bulky to store.😊
@@paulcoenen7918 I hear ya. Firstly, I took the fiat dollars the recycler paid me and I bought silver with it. I think silver has a much larger upside than copper does. I realize copper will likely keep going up which is why I'm still holding about 300 lbs. of bars. And secondly, just like gambling or playing the stock market they say it's always good to "take some money off the table". I got all that copper for free and I sold it for $4.56/lb. That's a win! The second you start getting greedy and waiting for "more and more", "higher and higher", something unforeseen might happen that keeps you from getting paid at all. It's basically how much someone wants to gamble. Let's say it gets to $7 and the recycler says, "too high - we're not buying copper right now until it goes down", then you're back to where I was on this day. I'm good with it.
Copper will continue to go up because the president keeps giving Ukraine ammo i see brass going up sky high too congratulations on your pay day buddy you put alot of work in you deserved it
Wow wow just wow
Heck yeah man! Great payout.. kinda hated seeing you get rid of the bars but that's what us scrappers do !! Great video!
Thanks for sharing my sticker on your scale
Awesome video nice payday thanks for sharing skuller metals
Copper is my "savings account". It's going to be last resort for me to sell out
Copper will only increase due to EV and new data centres, its never going to go down.

Exactly
Same here for me, I’m hoarding all my copper. I wish I never scrapped any in the past oh well…
Oh yeah! A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush! Nice haul!!! Thank God I got my Skuller coin with my T-shirt!
Nice payday my friend
Thank you. We need one every once in a while to keep the juices flowing.
Awesome payday hope all is well take care and will see you on the next one peace ✌️
WOW! Awesome payout.
Congrats on your scrap run, definitely was the right time to sell
Thank you. Yeah, always good to take some off the table every now and then.
Super haul buddy! Great video
very nice pay off good for you
Nice payday! Melt it and sell it. That's what I do. Keep at it my friend. Great video
Just read an article the other day they say with A.I getting so big it could go to 20 dollars a pound in 4 years
Let's hope so. I'll have more.
Wow that's wonderful❤❤❤
Great video and great payout , I love the look of copper bars 😍👍😁
That is amazing. Congrats man
This was really interesting
My yard is good to me I get best prices for everything
The price has been good I took in good amount of stuff when it was over 4 dollars a lb
awesome results!
Amazing and interesting at the same time! 👍
Greedings from Austria.
I bought a stick for my camera like probably similar to yours. What is the name of yours? I think mine comes from DJI. I have not hooked it up yet.

I had to go back and look - damn dude, you are an eagle eye! Glad I'm not a liar, you'd find me out!
Hare in New Brunswick CANADA we are only getting $4.75 for #1 and that's Canadian money .
Very nice 👍🏼

Very good.
Add borax to your copper, it'll help pull all the impurities out of the copper.
Next time you sell like that let me know. I’ll buy it. I’ll drive there and buy it for what the scrap yard gave me
Grandpa you are in NC.
That's a long drive.
Curious why you would do that?

Pay up sum bills buy sum borax
An roll over the rest to silver immediately???
An get back to smelting👍
Is that a 40 channel cb on the bottom shelf.
It's a marine radio of some kind. Got it in an auction with a bunch of other stuff.
Cash it for the win.
Wondering why you didn't take apart your hard drives? Especially with your good Al prices. Otherwise, nice haul and good prices.
@@karlbe8414 I probably could. Just a little monotonous to do with not much of a better return.
@@karlbe8414 I probably could. Just a little monotonous to do with not much of a better return.
@@SkullerMetals You could at least double your return with the delta of aluminum scrap price. I have sold the platters and HDD boards on ebay as well.
Electrical contractor here with a mountian of un stripped wire…
I know you get more money if you strip it, but is it worth it to melt and make bars?
"Worth it" is relative. Worth it financially....probably not. Worth it as a hobby and something to do....definitely for me.
The melting part is just a hobby. #1 and #2 copper are very close in price so if you strip your wire and get #2 for it you'll be very happy with the payout.
Nice lot of copper and nice payout, how long did it take you to get that amount?
2 years. Still have a bunch though.
👍
Quit being sentimental. Take all the brass and copper in. You have put alot of work into collecting it. You should get paid. 💰💰💰
The sentimental stuff I'll take in eventually. Waiting for copper to hit $20 which may be in 5 yrs.

Weir everywhere!, please subtract your propane costs!
Propane cost is irrelevant to me.
Why melt clean number 1 you wont get snymore for it snd around here they wont buy melted copper or aluminum
99% of these bars were made from #2 copper. Not sure why you would assume it was #1. And sucks for you - my yard takes my bars.
Go make some dough. Tomorrow is promised to know one.
