HELLO DEAN! I'm following since 3 months ago and you are the best thing that God sent to me, i would like you to hear my story, i'm not a girl with little words, believe me , when i'm excited i speak more than 1 hour and all the people that is hearing me stop what they are doing, and a realize that i feel amazing when i talk about the positive things and all the energy that i have now thanks to you, and why??
because i'am like you i have a lot empathy, polite all the people the last year were taking advantage of me when i said stop! i said no! don't say yes to everything you are a such incredible person , and make sure whom you are given you value time! i found you! i follow you in most of your programs really , not joking , with you I can confirm that i wasn't wrong just i meet an incorrect people not (a correct people)! (the correct people) very different ! One day i will talk about you in massive where everybody can know about you.
You are incredible and the way you talk about your life it's just natural! i don't care if you talk abouth you dog, you, son, your family etc! i love it! because it's an example it's just natural conversation and belieable !
and you know what ?! my first language its spanish , i don't speak too much english i read your book in english and i focus in learn everysingle word and look in the dictionary, I'M NOT STAGNANT ANYMORE LIKE I USED TO and im looking for my freedom and keep biulding my hapinness with you!

Thanks for sharing this. I'd like to get your thoughts on a related topic as well. What is your view on the purpose of the pursuit of excellence. I've been listening to a lot of talks on excellence though i have yet to learn a deeper purpose or motivation for humans to pursue excellence. I would think it goes deeper than just wanting to impress the people around you., "feel good" that people close to me look up to me and such. One can still have a happy and fulfiling 80 year life in this world by just having simple things and experiences and loving family and stable job. hope you can share your thoughts on what you think is is "purpose" to pursue excellence.

That's a really smart question! The fact that I've been in the lowest level in life, and I mean financially but also emotionally, and now I'm at the top of what success is to me. I think I can help others somehow now :))

I love how people always say others are lucky. It's as misguided as the people who say 'well kids don't come with a manual". Well they don't, but their are a million parenting books you could have read. Winners don't let themselves off the hook for everything.
