Well fashionably late again, but made it finally!! Looks like things started a touch rough but smoothed out!! Boy thank goodness for Corn dog's T-ball game 😳😳 Blessings in disguise for sure!! Glad the head is working out and you got that cylinders figured out!! It sure does give a different view to the wheat traveling into the middle to be processed 😁😁 Over all you like it, no major complaints? Thank you both for bringing us along, look fwd to seeing the next one!! Isn't that something with the oring😡 Typical anymore it seems !! 🌾🌾🌾😁😁😁👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🚜🚜
The yellow header definitely commands attention. I got a lot of funny looks as people drove by this year. I am actually looking forward to cutting soybeans this year.
@@Hinesfarm-Indiana , we are dry here, too, but I don't think it's as bad as you are. We had a terrible drought here last year. 72 days without rain, and almost every one of those days was 95 degrees or hotter. A lot of them were over 100. Corn averaged 84 bushels to the acre last year.
Looks like some pretty good wheat. What verity did y'all plant? I planted a couple different pioneer verity's. But yield wasn't nothing to brag about at the coffee shop but the bank account was ok with it.
The wheat you saw us cutting in this video was Pioneer 25R49. It was good wheat but our Croplan beat it by about 5 bu./ac. Our Croplan wheat is a mixture of 9415 and 8550
I would rather take the blade off, but it is convenient because the cart man can push limbs on the field edges back into the fence row while they wait for the combine to fill up.
It is a 25-footer. This is the very first time we have run it. We kept our 22-foot auger head for a backup, but I hope we never have to hook to it again.
That head seemed to feed real easy, and it looks nice on the ole girl.
The 9400 doesn’t have to work near as hard with it even though it’s a bigger header.
@@DylanJoyceFarms I need to find one of them for our 9500
I really enjoyed this video, thanks for sharing it with us!
Yall put alot into that crop i sure it all worked out.... very proud of the work that you and your brother put into the crop... thats what it takes...
Thank you. That means a lot to us.
With all of the issues you're having, it sounds like Matt Griggs has been sleeping in your combine at night.
Thank you for helping feed this country. God Bless America!!
Great job from a wheat farmer in Africa
Thanks! Love hearing from viewers from other countries.
Awesome video 💚🌱✌🏻
Thank you kindly
I knew you love a draper wait until you cut beans and you Will really love it
I am actually looking forward to the soybean harvest this year!
@@DylanJoyceFarms I'm sure you are it make a lot more enjoyable.

Combine and header both did a really good job.

I would never want to go back to an auger header if I could keep from it.
That yellow header sure does look good on the front of that Maximizer. I just wish those combines had yellow tops on the cabs too!

I love that you guys keep it reel keep up the good work 👍👍
Really enjoy your channel. Hope to wrap up wheat harvest this week here in east central Illinois
Thanks! We’ve been done about a week now. Glad it’s over.
Looks great 👍. We’re hoping to start in a few days.
I hope your wheat turns out great. I was just getting ready to watch the video of you setting the combine up for wheat harvest.
@@DylanJoyceFarms yeah with the dry weather we’ve had not to sure how well it’ll do

@@DylanJoyceFarms oh ok wow that’s not good
Your forklift sounds like a two cylinder John Deere which ain’t a bad thing unless it’s a four cylinder.
It gets the job done
Awesome video, keep up the good work 👍
Thanks!
stay safe guys
buen trabajo
Got to love taken all your money and sticking it in the ground and hope and praying it turns into more money
Nice video
I have a grain cart just like that.
Sometimes I wonder how many of them are still out there running.
Yep I see dat now looks like I’m gonna have to break down an get me an macron heAder

@@DylanJoyceFarms I'll have to ask my co-op man about those. I believe the 25r46 was the one Iiked.
@@familyfarmertn8931 that might have been the number I had. They all start to run together at some point.
@@DylanJoyceFarms yes they do😂😂
Does the 4640 ride better with that blade on it? The header looks like its doin a great job!

That does seem like it would be convenient.
What type of yield and moisture system do you have
Loup Elite Yield monitor.
Whats the reason for honeybee header?
Way better feeding and tired of running an old wore out 922. Went from a 1991 model header to a 2013.
Is that header rigid or flex
Rigid header on a floating adapter. Here in a couple of videos I show it shaving the ground.
@@DylanJoyceFarms 10-4 it does good job that adopter does good job
running 5 X9s almost farmen too you now here at ford farms
I remember when I used to play Farming Simulator too.

@@DylanJoyceFarms oh ok nice 👍. Yeah some day we’d like to get a drapper.
