Saw a bunch of shows 1987-94 all over the country and in Europe, saw some different itinerations of bands from remaining members after JG died, it was a treat to see the 2015 Santa Clara shows with my teenaged kids, it was the best music I had heard in 20 years and the set list containing older stuff was incredible to be there for. Thanks Grateful Dead.
Never mind mitchell's reply. It's awesome that you could experience that with your kids. I saw the set lists for Santa Clara (June 27th & 28th) and that must have been a great couple of nights. I hope you folks had a great time. You'll always have those memories together to share for years to come. As far as that tour is concerned Bob Weir is a legend in his own right so to see him alone is quite a thrill. Not to mention Phil Lesh, Billy Kreutzmann and Mickey Hart ffs. Oh yeah, then throw in some guy on piano named Bruce Hornsby and Trey Anastasio on guitar and you've got yourself a good little band right there.
I’m hittin a bunch of these Bobby and the Wolf 🐺 Brothers this fall. I love the Grateful Dead. My parents are deadheads who saw the Dead when they were still the Warlocks. Then I grew up at Dead shows when they had me. I’m blessed for the life I have been given. I I definitely want this CD here. I have a similar one but different years. Thank you and thanks I can get this CD. 💟💟💟💟💀⚡️💀🌹🔥👏🙏🔥😊☮️☮️
You might not care to hear my 'back in my day' story, friend, but here goes. If your cash was scarce and you couldn't afford records often, we'd buy those best of and greatest hits collections. Flash forward for me 60 odd years and I'm almost exclusively into downloading. I rarely play vinyl anymore.☮️

I skipped a ton of highschool in late 80s to mini tour. Some of the best times of my life. Even got to see em in Memphis after the ban was lifted. Before Jerry died.
Great songs, I love them all but this is a good "best of"! My favorites are "Weather report suite", "Unbroken chain" the first albums, Box of rain", "China cat sunflower"...I love them all 🙂!!!
The "best" of Grateful Dead is simply every album they've put out. 🤙🏼☠️🥀
Yes indeed

One of the best bands ever

Any true Dead Head would never even consider going to any post -Garcia show. Before going, first step on Garcia's grave.

Found this CD randomly in a thrift store in Breckenridge Colorado back in the day
Journey
Skeletons from the Closet was my introductory greatest hits album, not familiar with this one. Great song list.
This album is newly printed in 2015.
I love the dead because of my friend Smitty did it!
You know who I am!
Miss my 👻
Fun music to listen to as we are bombarded with junk!
Might As Well!
Don't forget to freak out people and blow their minds!( It makes them happy)
Who is this band and why do they keep following me?!
Their fingers of influence reach EVERYWHERE!
🥀🥀🥀🥀
I don't recommend listening to 'best of' albums. The best way to listen to bands is to check out their full albums or concerts.

I love anything almost live from '66 to '76 - but really, ALL the studio Dead is underrated by everybody all over the map.
Pigpen had the voice!
