Akiflow seems like a helpful tool, will try it out. Thanks Lucy
This year I'm going all in on cloud computing, hope all goes as planned
Really appreciate this Lucy. As always, this is a short and informative video. Thank you for the hard work you do on finding these resources for us.
thanks for the encouraging feedback!
Programming 💯! And don't get discouraged by the big tech layoffs, regular companies that didn't hyperscale on investors' money but instead took more balanced approach are still hiring 😊
Good advice! There are still companies hiring 😄
Excellent as always!
Awesome video. Straight to the point 👍
New to your channel, but really enjoy your content! Straight to the point and packed with info, it's great stuff!
I decided to get into tech this year and started with a Python bootcamp, but realizing I wouldn't become a SWD anytime soon, got some core IT certs and just started my first job in tech this past week! I'm also starting a degree in cloud computing this fall, which I'm taking for a more rounded IT education while also loading up on AWS certs.
I have a lot of leadership experience, so I'm hoping to get into a senior team lead or project management position eventually, but I also have a ton of freelancing under my belt, so I could go into a consultant/entrepreneurial path as well. We'll see what opportunities look like over the next year or two.
I'll be sure to keep my ear to the ground (or cloud?), watching a lot of your vids to help me stay updated with the lay of the land so to speak.
If you can make a list of projects from beginner level to advance level of projects to practice by which anyone will get the confidence of performing any cloud related task at the job,it will be of great help. Please consider making a video on it.
Good idea! Will do 😊👍
@@TechwithLucy Thank you so much.
One of the best project is Cloud Resume Challenge.
@@TechwithLucy Thank you for this amazing content, these are indeed the top skills to look out for in 2023 and beyond. However, I would appreciate it if you could shed more light on Machine learning. What are your thoughts on it? I realize it's a personal preference, but if I may ask, why did you leave it off the list of the top five skills to learn in 2023?
Yes please consider this topic
Thanks for honest content and motivation
Thank you. I'm security engineer starting in cloud and have used your videos for direction. I'm pretty confident I'll pass my CCP next week. The cloud quest is a great tool I learned about from you.
Awesome! Glad the video have been helpful, all the best on your cloud journey :)
Great information.
Thanks Lucy. Very interesting video. You've got a knack for this UA-cam thing
I appreciate the support, thank you!!
Cloud computing is obviously my best too!😄
Recently got my cloud practitioner certificate studying for SAA now.
Good video about tech skills. I would want to venture into every skill you have listed in this video. The first priority would be Cloud Computing.
Great, cloud computing is a good one :) Best of luck!
Hey what's up Lucy! Thank you once again for an awesome road map to a great career! You always highlight wonderful paths to potentially enjoyable ways to make a living! I personally have chosen cloud computing and I'm enjoying learning AWS right now but I'm seeing more and more that a strong knowledge of multi-cloud is becoming essential so thank you so much for all that you do for us and as always be well, be safe and Cheers!!!
Short n sweet, well explained,
I chose cloud computing and cyber security and I am enjoying learning aws right now.
Looking forward to see many more content on intermediate projects related to solutions architect roles for gaining more confidence on the same
Thanku
Hey Lucy, your transition story is really inspirational !! Keep posting your valuable videos...Can you please suggest some good AWS Hands-on resources where we learn by actually building something ?
Hi Lucy, love your videos. I was saved by seeing your video about why one should not be a Solution Architect. Thanks a ton. Can I please ask if you would add a Software Architect to the above list?
This year the skills I want to build is AWS cloud computing I just got my CCP and hoping to get my other associate badges with AWS and change job careers :)
You got this!! 💪 congrats on getting CCP
Great video Lucy 👏🏼
Thanks Jenn 💕
Thanks, Lucy!
Thanks for watching!
Im a full stack developer and passed my CCP last months and now almost prepare for SAA. Hope for the best.
Great video. How important would you scale "prompt engineering"? Because that would boost the useful outputs of AI like ChatGPT, GPT3, or Midjourney.
I would categorise it with AI, so it's definitely one of the more in-demand fields!
Thank you for the list, i am a sys admin and shifting to cybersecurity in 2023, i will though specialize in cloud CS, since i believe that is the future.
No worries! Sounds like a plan :) best of luck!
Hello, Is there a certification that you can get when you do the AWS Security Fundamentals (Second Edition) ? I couldn't find it at the website
Read Gartner's report for Cloud Computing till 2027 & the graph ahead.
For me I want to become a software engineer and thanks so much for the updata
All the best on your journey!! 😊
cloud computing and IA
Do comptia security + network can help you start your journey of cyber security.
How about Devops and combination of aws devops or azure Devops
I’m currently doing WGU cloud computing program.. but I’m so bored of it.. I have a system admin role at a small company and it’s so boring.. I feel I need creativity. Idk what to do!! Please helps me ;( I will be happy with a $90k/year job
I wanna build aws cloud computing skill. To get my solutions architect associate is my Goal this Year.
Awesome, best of luck on the journey!!
Do you indeed need massive resources e g. GPUs to learn advanced AI
Real quick heads up, but the Coursera "AI for Everyone" is not free at this time. You can choose AUDIT to get that free access. You won't get the certificate of completion.
Thank you Lucy.
I am interested in becoming an AWS solutions architect.
May I know if you ever experienced procrastination and phobia in learning about AWS solutions architect? How can one solve this problem!?
As a solutions architect, did you learn about Linux? How necessary is it for a solutions architect role?
Haha all the time! I find that my motivation comes in spikes of energy, instead of consistent work. But building healthy habits may help
@@TechwithLucy I learn much better with others than alone. I prefer physical classes than online lessons. But it's obvious that physical classes are no longer in existence. Please can you suggest any upcoming Bootcamp where I can enrol to learn about solutions architect?
Ai is a like salt you can use it anywhere either in cloud, programming or cyber security and I think cloud and devops is something which will that will grow rapidly along with Ai
Good way to put it! AI is going to be used across every industry
I'm currently working on my Solutions Architect Professional Certification...& I'm using Adrian Cantrill to study & it really is like drinking from a fire hose in comparison to the Cloud Practitioner Certification.
Haha good comparison - it really is a lot to learn! You got this
@@TechwithLucy I do appreciate that, i do not come from a Tech background and i only started 2 years ago.. I've recently gotten my first solutions architect job so yay me
That’s awesome, congrats on the role!
I'm yet to take my CCP and I started this cloud journey in February 2022 and before that I'd never heard the name AWS.. How long did you train to pass your CCP?
@@MrElchav thinking back I believe for the CCP I spent a total of 3 months studying for it. Before I started on this journey I had never heard of AWS Azure or GCP either, I don't come from Tech. The CCP is based on 10,000 ft overviews of services offered by AWS
In Australia do you think Azure is more in demand for jobs than AWS? I seem to see more jobs asking for Azure. Cheers
I found both to be quite similar in demand! AWS has great early career programs - internships and Tech U
@Tech With Lucy Thanks for the reply!
Cybersecurity
Cloud computing here I come.
☁️!
I was thinking of going for Sysadmin and specializing in Linux with certifications. Do you think it's still a good path or is cloud killing these jobs?
It's replaced by devops
It's good for learning the fundamentals! Take a look for jobs in your area to see if they need that skillset
I've completed AWS Cloud practitioner certification what next can be done
I have a video on this exact question, coming out in 2-3 days! 😄
Do you recommend AWS or Azure?
AWS (but I’m biased 😉)
What do you thinks about becoming data engineer?😅
Isn't Artificial Intelligence similar to data science ? A data science can work as an Artificial Intelligence right?
All 5 of these still are all pretty connected! AI can be applied to many fields
Network isn't on the list ? 🤔
Networking would be part of cloud computing
Python
Awesome!
Won’t AI just work on itself so we won’t even be needed for that
quits high paying job to produce youtube videos
goes several weeks without producing youtube videos
Went on a trip to the US for 2 weeks :) More videos coming!
THANK YOU YOUR CONTENT IS ALWAYS INSIGHTFUL PLEASE WHAT TIME CAN I CHAT WITH YOU ON WHATS UP YOU SUGGESTED WE CHAT I AM WATCHING VIDEOS ON FUNDAMENTALS OF PROGRAMMING, CLOUDING COMPUTING, CYBER SECURITY AND DEVOPS ENGINEERING.
