Ι think the Marshmallow cover is my favorite A5 cover that I have !!! I just love everything about it!! I had regretted not buying it the first year it was released and I was so happy they rereleased it!!! I grabbed at once the second time around !!!

Again, your soothing voice and what you said made it a really comfortable evening. 😌 If you want to answer: When writing in your notebooks, do you leave them in the cover or take them out? Especially for the first or last pages (depending on which way the book is tucked in) it can get not so nice when the cover prevents a flat writing surface... Or do you have a tip? And: A beautiful collection you have. 🥰

I do tend to leave my notebooks in the covers when I write in them, and I wonder if that's why I recently started to gravitate towards slimmer notebooks for precisely the reason you mentioned -- that it gets tricky when it's quite chunky and one is writing on the first or last pages! I try to have another notebook to support under the side that needs a bit of lifting in that case, if that makes sense!

That does make me realize that I do sometimes begin a notebook, like a hobonichi avec, before I put it in the cover, and I wonder if it is indeed because I want to write on a flat surface before introducing it into a cover that has pockets! in which case, yes, I do sometimes start them before I place them in the cover, and occasional do take them out! :)
the “cat over kanda” by taiyo matsumoto is one of my dream covers alongside the “my manga and i” cover they released a few years ago. i’m not really a fan of the a5 size bc the size and writing space feels daunting so it’s nice to see someone appreaciate the size and has a collection! 🩵🩵🩵
I agree with you about the A5 size often feeling quite daunting! I used it a lot last year, but had to downsize this year just because it felt a little too big for me, at least for now! the cat over kanda really is such a lovely cover, and I'd missed the "my manga and I" from the year before which looks so warm and soothing! thank you so much for the kind words!

I had no idea that cat over kanda cover even existed as an A5! I have an A6 and now wish I had an A5, as it is such a more practical size for me….
ahh I know the feeling especially when I see that a cover that I know in one size turns out to exist in the size that I actually use and love!
