Thanks for sharing! I’m glad I haven’t made any final decision on my journal yet, because I want to get the Tomitaro Makino HON in the Cousin size (and some other items from that collection) for sure! I thought about this for a while, but I think I will manage to keep up with the Cousin as a journal if I section out a smaller space for my daily summaries and also use washi stickers and photos. The weeklies will be for memory keeping. Will also try to get my hands on one of the white One Piece leather covers that are going to be released in October. 💕
Yes, I think that way it's much easier to keep up in the cousin. I did that too. However, I haven't had time to sit down to catch up. So many have said they are getting the makino! 😊

I really love the Another Night of Falling Star Sparklers but I wish it was in an A6 cover as I don't use the weeks
Yeah they should have done it in a6. What a wonderful design.
I wish the Liberty Emma Georgina was available as an A6 Techo cover … but maybe that’s a reason to try the HON 🤷🏼♀️ Great release overall! TFS your thoughts ✨
Yes, why not try the Hon this year is what I'm thinking! Loving all the cover variations. Can't resist this year..
One has to be careful with trying to put a hon into a cover. As far as I learned in the hobonichi UA-cam livestream the black gingham hon does fit into a cover , as the cover of the Hon is the same size s the paper of the calendar. But the other HONS do not fit into a cover , except from a zipcover. So check that out before buying a hon and trying to put it into a cover
Yes, the Hons have a slightly larger cover that overhangs the pages. For that reason I prefer the original techo or the gingham Hon.
Thanks for this video. I had my mind set on a6, after watching this video I'm not sure if I should get olive color weeks. also Tomitaro Makino A5 /A6 hon. 😕
Me too, confused about those ones you mentioned. They look great. The makino pairs well with the olive. That's my problem..I want to create a nice combo. 😅
Porter has always been hella expensive, but definitely on-trend with LV’s mini pouches etc. etc. I was a hard no until I saw the little Hobonichi insert 😂😂😂
I'm shocked that a tiny pouch would be that much.. And it's not even leather or coated canvas. It sure is cute!!

No Hobonichi at all is gonna be extremely hard. I think a lot of us are so happy makino is back!

I love the Hon Cats, the Hollyhock, and the Blue Blue. Now I just have to decide on the size, ugh. But what’s the difference between the English original techo and the English one with the black cover, just the color? I know it’s blasphemy, but I really wish the quotes weren’t there.
I don't think there's much difference to the a6 hon and regular techo. Probably just the cover. I have no idea what I'll end up choosing...A5 looks really nice as a Hon.
