Was in the southern area of the beaches near Khanom last week, and the people there were fantanstic, but the water was still not very good after the extended wet season. A lot of trash was washed down the rivers nearby. But I didn’t see this part. Your video is lovely.
wow! beautiful! im amazed that the beaches are so free of people, absolutely my kind of beaches! lol and holy crap cant beat those prices, man o man... another nice vid JP
The beaches down this stretch of coastline have honestly been a revelation. So much nicer than all the over-commercialized main beaches you find here in the major tourist spots.
Very nice location. I don’t see people swimming in the ocean. Can you swim in the ocean or are there issues with stinging aquatic life (fish, jellyfish, plants,) or sharks? Just curious.
Wow! What a great place. So beautiful and that nice room for 25 dollar's. Yeah, I think two or three days would be nice and take a proper rest. So tell us JP, how was the sambuca ? 😉
What a totally delightful and beautiful place! I looked up "The Atima Hotel" on google and did not find it. Do you have more information so that I can look it up? That would be great. That looks doable from Ban Krut so we may, God willing, get there when everything improves in Thailand. Thank you for sharing. I look forward to all your videos.
My apologies if I got the name wrong as I didn't pre-book. I just landed and then checked the name on the main sign at the beachside. I suspect they've had a name change. Anyway, I checked online and it's now called Talkoo Beach Resort. Happily, there are plenty of other hotels to choose from too :) I'm sure you'll love Khanom Beach since you like Ban Krut and I hope you get there soon. Let me know when you do and how you get on. Take care. JP
My type of environment. Subbing up to watch your journey. I’m heading to SE Asia very soon to tackle many a different twist of locations, people and architecture/nature. Very excited for what my future holds. Good luck to you meantime 👍🇦🇺
@@Biking360 First Thai visit, yep. Been to Indonesia 25 times over 30 years though. I’m ready and as excited as ever for this part of the world though. Cheers mate 👍
Looks fantastic. How come the beaches are so quiet? When you say 'resort' I always shudder and imagine heaving beaches, packed shoulder to shoulder with tourists. This looks bloody lovely.
This is not a place that many foreign tourists typically visit... thank goodness! Additionally, Covid has played a part in keeping away what few international visitors would normally be here. So, what's left is the small domestic market. However, even in the busiest times, this stretch of coastline is nothing like the tired cliched well-trodden tourist ghettos frequented by 99% of international tourists.
Yes. It was towards the beginning of rainy season. I was lucky not to get caught out with much rain and the weather was pretty good for most of the trip. JP
There are some crazy low prices for hotel rooms here at the moment. I hope you're doing OK. I see you've not posted for a few weeks so presume you must be on a well-earned break. Be safe. JP
Great video, thanks! Because of the strict vaccination law in Samui/Phangan which is my favorite place during the burning season ( I live in Chiang Mai) how about apartments/houses there?
I'm not too sure about that though if imagine you should be able to find something. I'm up in your neck of the woods at present as just finishing the Mae Hong Son loop. My goodness it's hilly!!! Take care. JP
My goodness, that's a location for such a small amount. As you know, GB for the same money gives me a field for me and family to erect our own tent for 1 night. If we are lucky the field might have a communal toilet/shower block, the last field we pitched up in had a sink, wc was a good trek up a mountain.
Thanks for the video, what an amazing place to be sand and crystal clear blue seas what's not to like.
Definitely one of the best beaches I've seen as it's still essentially so natural despite some development.

Khanom Beach is one of my favourite places in Thailand. If you didn't get the chance to see it you have a good excuse to go back!
Thanks for this video. I miss this beach. I spent a few months there in 2019 and it was fun. Quiet beach, great bike routes and genuinely nice people.
I loved it there and will definitely go back.
Nice ride, very fair weather, beautiful beach..such an awesome place.
Thanks. Ride safe. JP
That gem of a beach is a great find. Fantastic. Much rather enjoy the quiet beauty of this area than the busy bars and restaurants elsewhere. 🙂
Absolutely!

Sir . its amazing beach so quite very nice to relax and swim in the early morning . thank you for always sharing . love Thailand
Thanks. It's a great place to be at the moment. Ride safe. JP
Weather seems to have settled, that beach is like something out of a film, another quality tour for us all to enjoy.
Khanom beach was truly amazing and possibly my favourite beach in Thailand. And that high praise indeed! JP
Absolutely love these videos, the editing is getting better and better.....being nosey do you iMovie...stay well and happy spinning
I don't use Apple so, therefore, don't use iMovie. I use Adobe Premiere Rush instead. It has its limitations but it's easy to use.
Love it, great video, thanks!
Thanks for the kind comment. That was a special place for sure. Take care. JP

A great place but I didn't end up having a sambuca :(
you have filmed in the best way special you wait them as fishing thank you
I'm pleased you enjoyed it. Khanom Beach feels very special and I had an amazing time there. Thanks for watching and commenting. JP
It looks really nice there. 👌🏻✔😍
Was the beer cold, and reasonably priced? 🍻
A great place. Can't help you with the beer temperature and prices though I'm sure it was all good :)

Lol :) Indeed!
Beautiful..👍
Thanks a lot 😊

@@Biking360 the Mae Hong Son loop? You are an animal haha! But if you are around then also try Doi Intanon, that's the biggest mountain in Thailand.
