I think they’re overestimating how much spoilers will impact the success of this movie. It’s not exactly a Hitchcock level thriller. It’s basically total recall, but with radical feminism. I think anyone who goes to see it doesn’t care. Mostly it will be styles-stans. Pugh’s fans will avoid it because she seems to want it buried lol.

I’ve had this video sitting in my watch later playlist for about a year and I finally watched today after watching DWD last night and the way you told this script still surprised me at parts!!! I wish somethings would have stuck along with this original script. But overall it was a really good movie. Also the clips you used specifically 7:28 had me giggling!

@Vanya based on how well the blush bunny described it and knowing it takes after the Stepford Wives not the Modern One with Matthew Broderick but the original one which was a horror movie then oblivion could mean 3 things, she got out she's free, she opened the door to the angry Dr and Husband and was given a lobotomy which is major brain surgery removal and would be like oblivion or she was drugged back into that society, the oblivion though makes me think she's not free though...

My takes:
- I am scared and excited how Harry will portray a “bad guy” character. I mean, that man screams TPWK😩😂
- I agree with you, the movie has a huge potential! No wonder H agreed to be part of it.
- I am hoping there wouldn’t be “too much” intimate scenes.. I think I’m not yet ready for that lol (im a theater actor tho)
- You have a very good way of telling the story! It’s clear and not boring.

But I completely agree. I’m so intrigued by the idea of him being the antagonist because we all know he wouldn’t hurt a fly lol. Sometimes I second guess myself like “Am I even a good person?” Compared to Harry I don’t know how I measure up lol. And I honestly don’t think there will be a lot of intimacy because of COVID... so we won’t have to cry too much from heartbreak lol

I believe it will be a lot different from the original script. Shia and Florence usually have great taste in choosing which films they work on so I trust that it has good potential. They usually only work on films they find personally intriguing. Its going to be interesting seeing Harry play this character.
Yea it’s definitely going to be a lot different but I’m excited to see what changes are made. And yes they both pick roles that have depth to them. Speaking on Shia, his trajectory as an artist (not just actor) has been phenomenal so I’m sure this character is going to be something. Harry’s going to shock a lot of people.
When I’m going to watch it will probably give me a trauma but i’m not going to miss out on so much harry content

I’m honestly really sad that the movie ended up shying away from this script. I feel like if they would have changed some scenes they would have been fine with the original script. I wish they didn’t change the movie completely it would have been cool to see Harry as a villain. Hearing what the movie could have been just makes me hesitate to watch the movie even more.
I'm really excited to see Harry playing the bad guy, because given his talent as an actor, it's great that he's taking more risks and playing more complex and intimidating characters. That's why I think he will show his full potential in this movie. As for Florence, she will be extraordinary, as always.
