Watching this to juice up my brain before I try out Paint 3D. Only 40 seconds in, just wanted to stop and say this guy has a perfect cartoon character voice and I love it.
Paint3D is actually not very powerful. It doesn’t have access to simple things like single vertices, edges, or faces. Also Paint3d does not let you make animations or use Vfx. There is also no way to make a low poly model because everything you make will already have so many faces that you can’t see them. There are literally countless things that Paint3D can’t do that something that’s also free Blender can do.
my 4 year old daughter loves helping me mess around with this. We made a pirate ship sailing the sea, rocket ship flying onto the moon and a pet shop. It's really easy, just play around.
Everything is So COUNTER intuitive, especially on basic things. When you import a picture for example and want to enlarge it so it can scales to the size of the screen, it won't move an inch. When working with two pictures, at some point, you'll be able to just select and modify only one. Something ''intuitive'' is a Complex Process of the Brain that alongside with Knowledge, Thought Processes and Judgements are perceived as Immediate.

Hi, your tutorial is great. I use Paint 3D for detaching objects from images, however, I don't find a way to insert an animation on top of a still green canvas, so I can use it for overlays. Do you have an idea?

I was totally unaware that I had Paint #3D. Can you tell me how to size a upload design in inches. For example 9 " x 6". What I see is pixels.

Paint 3D is by far the easiest and most versatile program for a quick editing of your images. It is also quite fast to launch, and saves your work progress if your computer should have a breakdown.
When i try to move the picture, when ''select'' is selected, it doesn't drag around the picture, it wanna act as a rectangular chopping tool instead. I couldn't find any other ways to move the picture. So Right off that doesn't feel ''intuitive''
how do i view a 2D canvas in full screen (as if i were making a wallpaper)? this function was easy to find and use in regular paint but i can't find it in paint 3D. please help. and thank you for the work you put in to explain the functions of paint 3D!

As he said soooo many times, you cannot edit an already commited 2D object. The only way to edit placed text is if it is originally made in 3D. If you accidentaly place 2d text, your only option is to press Undo.
I have an issue with 2D lines. I am unable to find a way to edit when if they "stick". I'm trying to mock up an image to draw up the concrete I want poured at my home. Please let me know if I can edit 2D lines after they "stick" to the image.
If it’s not that detailed maybe your phones photo editor might be easier to use, or an app called ‘Paper’ i’ve used it with erasing stuff/drawing on pics,, i don’t use paint 3d but it seems like it’s mostly good as an intro to 3d modeling.
hel i accidentally shrinked the tool menu, its hard to make things like this, what i did to that happen i accidentally pressed a random key and i dont know what key i clicked,
do you know how to make a 3d model 2d? im trying to make a head 2d for a sprite sheet since it's a 2d game and doesnt support 3d models but i cant find how the turn it 2d so it can work on a .png
My suggestions is record the 3d object you created and screenshot the video then go to stickers then add sticker then choose ur screenshot then the use majic 3d to remove things that doesn't include to ur 2d object then done you just converted 3d object into 2d i already mastered paint 3d so i knew a lot more functions of it like photoshoping image, creating animation from it and a lot more

Exporting as a 3D model, you say? And what formats can it export to? .obj, .3ds, etc.?
I have one question, when I go on paint 3d, maximum size is 564 px x 516 px. How come I cant change it more than that?
On the Canvas section you shall be able to resize it and make it bigger. No clue why you cannot do that.

Image editors don’t care about dpi when saving new images, this is true of all of them.

How do I open an app with Paint 3D on Windows 11? Paint 3D doesn't show up in the "Open with" option even though I have it installed
Very interesting and helpful, however much too fast to see action and difficulty of place to get tools.
You can slow speed down by using Gear->Speed of the UA-cam player.
Strange but on mine I can not save as a project. Greyed out.
