Hopefully he gets more exposure. I see channels like this and he is a million times better. I just saw this , wish the algorithm works for him now. He's really good.
Thank you so much! 💕🙌 I truly appreciate it. If people want more tutorials, they shall have more tutorials. But these take a lot of time to make, so probably not right away. But I will continue posting art videos every friday!
You have the hand and eye of an experienced artist. The media that you use doesn't really matter: pencil, brush, ballpoint pen. The results you'll get will always be something incredible and worthwhile. New subscriber.
Very well done tutorial/paint along. The subject isn't entirely simple, but you've broken it up into smaller, simpler steps that are easy enough for a beginner to replicate. This process is very similar to a traditional one. A big thank you for helping out growing artists.
This was super fun! And it is much more difficult than it seems. At the same time, the tutorial is so well made, that I could do a nice painting following it. I am happy with how it turned out. Thanks for the great content! :)
i actualy love people making extremly hard thing look like a piece of cake i love these videos cause i always wanted to draw but never got into it becuase i thought it was hard now i started finally and its turning out that it is extra fun! thanks for this tutorial becuase it taught me the basics of art!
I've been meaning to take up digital painting as a side hobby for years, and have only managed to collect enough will to start it this year. This video is perfect for a beginner like me who owns a hand-me-down tablet from a younger cousin who no longer uses it, but doesn't have enough money to pay for subscription for the more professional digital art software such Photoshop and the likes. Thank you for the video!
when following it my tree came out kinda meh but i really enjoyed how my clouds came out. Hopefully i can use what i learned here to draw other things in ms like some photo realistic horse or something. Thank you so much!!
I'm glad to hear that! You can definitely use this exact same technique to paint anything on Microsoft Paint, it will just take a bit of practice. You might want to also check my tutorial on photorealism if your goal is to draw a photorealistic horse. It has some extra tips that are not quite as well covered in this tutorial! Keep practicing, you will get there! 🙂
@@TTArt well, just finished and I have to say its literally fantastic. You are not just a great artist, a good teacher too, and this reference is a good Idea I think to start with....The painting looked really fantastic after the finishing. I love what you do, and please do continue, there's so much to learn from you ❤️❤️❤️🙌🙌 I will obviously try to paint it..
Wow amazing , i was shocked while watching this video , after watching this video I tried to follow a video tutorial to draw a tree, but my version isn't turning out exactly as I hoped.😂well scenery looks good😅 Butt i appreciate your efforts you put in your all videos🙌🏻👍
Thank you so much for making this, its easy to understand and I can follow these methods well !... So new subbie here !.. and I'll continue to look forward to more tutorials like this...
Van Gogh! Wow, thank you! The style difference is mostly just due to the difference in distance between background and foreground, I like to make things that are closer to view more detailed and sharper and things far away seem more blended and blurred.
Glad you liked it! I didn't have the reference photo on Paint, I just had it open as image file next to my Paint program. But you could open the reference image in Paint also and use the select tool to place it next to your painting area. Regarding the grid you can go to "view" and select to show ruler / grid and then use the line tool to draw a grid of the size you want. Unfortunately there is no readymade grid options on MS Paint like on Photoshop.
Thank you for this tutorial. I enjoyed following along with you. Mine's definitely more "impressionistic" than yours. It's hard to get the little details like the flowers/grass with my mouse but I suppose it just takes practice. I subscribed.
Haha, it's not. 👀🤣 Of course you can get faster at it, and I think that I'm relatively fast for the amount of detail I put in my works, but normally it still takes anything between 5-10 hours. This one was pretty quick, and took only 2 hours, because I wanted to keep it quick and simple and something that people could genuinely follow along. It would be really hard trying to narrate a painting that takes 10 hours in a way that someone could actually follow along... 😅
Love your work. Thank you for this video! I'd say that I would construct my drawing in a very similar fashion if I had no layers (I use Sketchbook Pro but only 2 brushes). Might I suggest a couple of things for people who try to emulate you? Save your drawings and preferably in versions at significant stages (MyTreeDrawing.1, MyTreeDrawing.2,...) so you don't lose your work. I haven't played with the new version of paint..., for those who don't want to lose their hard work, can you save a version of the skyline, make a new drawing containing only the tree, then make a third drawing combining the two (pasting in the tree on top of the background) or is that not possible with Paint?
Thank you! :) Yes, I agree that saving work as different files is a good idea to both save your work and give a backtrack option if something goes badly wrong and you don't know how to fix it. Regarding your question, technically you could do that using the select option with "transparent selection" ticked on, but it's not the most reliable option as it only sees pure whites transparent. If you are using a brush with even slightest amount of opacity, select it and move it over to another image, all the edges will be very bright. You would have to paint those away after. I think it would be better idea to just save your painting before starting with the tree and if you mess it completely up to a point that is beyond repair (although nothing actually is) just load the save and try again. :)
@@TTArt Ah, that would indeed be an error-prone pain. I was thinking it would be a way to preserve and/or multiply individual drawing assets but it may not be worth it if there's so much effort involved. Thanks for your reply!
Yes, like Debesh said! But I did try to think how can I explain and narrate it while painting, to have it make the most sense. However, since I'm not a natural English speaker and this is my first tutorial, I thought it's easier if I watch the video afterwards and think how to narrate and explain it. 🙂
The bucket feature is one of the worst. Everytime I use it, it never covers the whole area, just the central area, with big empty spaces on the edge. I don't have the slightest clue how you were able to get your bucket to cover all the space that you maked it on, but I can NEVER get painter to provide that much coverage. Like I said, it's one of the absolute worst.
Because the bucket tool only fills in one specific color. Because the brush tool isn’t a flat color and has edges made of a lot of different colors, it doesn’t fill it in The line and pencil tool, however, are always a flat color and doesn’t have more softer edges, so the bucket fills it in better.
thank you digital bob ross

On those stokes for the clouds are you clicking and releasing or pressing and holding?
Which part do you mean exactly? In either case I very rarely do long strokes, so usually just one click and release per stroke for almost anything.

no fucking way you can ACTUALLY paint on MS paint... this is insane!
