Tip on dry food rice or oatmeal , cream of wheat, etc. One part dry grain to two parts water. You can use anything to measure with, like a coffee cup. It works. A tip on the stumps, what I do is cut them about 5 feet high, chest high. Put a heavy rope, chain, etc at the top and use the truck to pull four directions that should pop the roots works on small trees you got there.

We usually take a splitting maul to the tops of the stumps and put an old fire ring around the stump and burn them down. (Sticks and small limbs) works great for that. Nice video once again man.

Drill holes in your stumps and pour diesel fuel on them and let it soak into them a few times and then put a bag of charcoal on them and lite it .. it will smolder for days and it will burn the stump and roots out

Always glad to either see the dirt or see the snow as it makes travel so much easier when enough of it to do something about the travel abouts. I particularly like dirt the best as its warmer and old age and a little heat on the sore bones . For that line of work tho snow can or is a friend to you. I loved it when I was your age fifty plus years ago. I hope that you made enough to splice ya through till trapping starts again. I was hoping for twice as much in the furs prices. I seen some trappers in my day come out of the outback with as many as five mules hauling on their sore old backs. They hadn't shaved since I saw them head back to that areas they loved so much. Some could barely speak as it had been so long and they would grin with mouth full of narly chew they made themselves. I hope that you continue making videos this summer as its nice to see that your okay. Pet old pooch for me as hes a trooper too keeping you left overs under control. I for one prefer the friendship of a dog over humans that lie and try to get anything they can out of you and on that note,,, catch you on the next one.

So with things like taking apart those joints and other seized bolts and Nuts a propane torch is your best Friend! Hit it with a propane torch for like five minutes and it will expand to make it come apart easier! Good for rusted nuts and bolts. Maybe you knew that but it doesn't hurt to mention. Oxy acetylene is much faster but cost more to have!

I love the feeling you get after completing an automotive job yourself. I couldn’t imagine paying someone else to do work I’m capable of. Plus I know it’s done right!
One day long long ago the wife (then girlfriend) went for an oil change and they told her she needed an antifreeze system flush so she called me but I was up a pole doing cable work and couldn’t answer. Aside from the arm and a leg they charged her, (this was on a Friday) when she went to start her car Monday morning to go to work her belts were squealing like a stuck pig. I popped her hood and told her to start it again. It started fine but the water pump was frozen in place. I popped the radiator cap to see ICE! Oh they flushed it alright, and left only water in it! Of course this happens during a very cold snap for weather too! I put my propane heater under the engine compartment and after it was thawed it fired right up and ran smoothly. First stop that day? Damn right, I walked in head hunting for the fools that touched her car at that lube joint. Apparently he was fired that previous Saturday having been caught on camera stealing... Whatever could he have been stealing you ask... ANTIFREEZE, what else!!! They reimbursed me the entire bill and offered me a years worth of oil changes, but I declined. I settled for a years worth of oil for BOTH our vehicles instead but I had to bring in the empty bottles. No problem, to be a smart ass I brought in six empty antifreeze jugs which they topped off!
