I absolutely love how you do these reviews. Rather than boring, long videos that some reviewers do, you cut to the chase. You just tell if they worked, what you liked, what you didn't like. And, you show clips of applying them with voice-over explanations.
I actually said"ohhhhh" out loud when I saw that 3rd eye look with the silver blue tone oh my that is just gorgeous

These look very similar to the 6-pan palettes that Essence just came out with. Maybe the Bare Minerals palettes in this video are a bit less monochrome than Essence? Could you do a video of the Essence ones for comparison?
I honestly thought that the palettes were Essence (since it's Frugal Friday haha). I'd love a comparison too @Zabrena!
I bought one of the Essence palettes -the cool toned one with greys/silvers. I’m hoping it going to be good. I also got one of the new Catrice 5 pans and it is very nice. Very rich and buttery.
@@Queenmarie88 I bought the Taupe palette from Essence......Love It! Doesn't crease...and that's saying a lot on my 50+ year old eyelids.
She did! That was actually Wednesday's video that she mentioned. :) The title is "These $4 eyeshadow palettes blew me away!" it's not a comparison with the Bare Minerals, but it is a full review in the same way this one is formatted. (Spoiler alert: she loved ALL of those palettes!)

I admire your bravery! I would have run out of that studio the moment I spotted something flying, and it was even a wasp! Btw, I loved the first palette. I think red/rose/pink tones really suit us blue-eyed folks.
My favorite palette is the purple. Overall, the palettes will be flattering for many people. I adore colourful liners. That being said, there is really nothing that makes me feel that I want to pay the hefty price. Appreciate the cool purples tho.
The tips of the liners in diamond and garnet broke when you swatched them so my concern is how well they physically hold up? I’m very tempted but I get when liners lose pieces when you’re trying to use them.

I noticed they broke too. It’s why I didn’t notice the wasp.. I was looking at the broken liner tip. Zabrena is so adorable!
The trick is to keep the end out just a little bit while applying. They are soft, but the color and staying power are fantastic!
The blue and purple palettes are beautiful! Sometimes, the smaller palettes are better to have since they won't overwhelm you and the colors are well coordinated. The eyeliners are fabulous too!

I love how, depending on the eyeshadow, your eyes can look really green or really blue or even grey blue. You're just a gorgeous lady with gorgeous eyes no matter what you use.

I love this hair color you have right now!!!! Its gorgeous!!!!! I'm with you on the bright bright red, it was a pretty color red, and don't get me wrong and you are beautiful no matter what color hair, but it just wasn't you. This color is you! Love it!!! ....... the "mommy, mommy" at the end of the video, LOVED!!!!! Made me smile. My little man isn't feeling good, says his tummy hurts and he has a low grade fever. I'm hoping it's just a little bug and he will be fine tmrw. But I hate when he don't feel good, breaks my heart. He's sleeping right now. Poor little buddy. So if you, or anyone reads this could you say a prayer for us plz. I just got out of the hospital myself, still recovering, and now my little man has something going on and prayers always always help! ...... lots of love to you and your family!!! God bless!...... Its called always naked. If you come across that one I'd love to see a video on it. If I come across it I'm GETTING IT! even though I do not need it. OMG, I can go broke on these... so many palettes I love and the coordinating eyeliners are stunning, too!! Every look you made is simply wonderful and I'm sure hubby loved that blue look on you (you said he loves when you wear blue on your eyes) and so did I!! These are so cute. I kind of like the one you thought seemed a bit disorganized. It would be an amazing complement to a new 10-pan from Profusion called Meadow that I haven't received yet but am very excited to experiment with!
I can't do wasps... you were so much more brave than me. I would have stopped everything & made sure that he was dead. But not JUST dead .... PULVERIZED into oblivion. A dead wasp is the only good kind of wasp. BLEHHHH!

Oooohhh Im not even into blues and greys that much but the second palette caught my eye instantly. Obviously Im drawn to the cool neutrals and purples as well. I liked the other palette color stories but was more iffy about them

I think it's a completely different vibe/look like bare minerals is wine and colorpop is a beer both are good but have thair place ps I dont drink but the only way I could think to compare

So funny how we are all different. I am sometimes confused about warm vs cool, and have hesitated to mix them. I think the one you liked the least (Sunlit?) looks the best on you. Love the mauve on the lower lid and the antique greenish on the upper. Elegant. But as Lisa Eldridge and I believe you too have said, there are no rules in makeup!

I am a sucker for cool purples and grays. I keep thinking it goes back to my first adult eyeshadow from Clinique. Anyway, after your video, I bought the Heathered and Stonewashed palettes. ♥️BM back in the day when their loose shadows were numerous and colorful, but less impressed since bought by Shiseido and going more mainstream. Still, will give these a try. If you can ever find Bloom eyeshadow or Heaven blush, I know you would love them, but I doubt you’d be able to find either. Absolutely gorgeous, both of them.

I bought the burnished palette. It's gorgeous, but I do struggle a little getting the right color combination with that one. I do really want the blue and purple pallets, along with ALL the eyeliners. I currently have copper and garnet, and they really are fantastic quality!

I love the blue palette Stonewashed the most, the next one would be the Ultra Natural one. These look like they would be good for a nice subdued eyeshadow application, when you don't want to be to extreme with a look.
That Wasp though!!! I would get my BF to relocate (or exterminate) as I am allergic. LOL I could see the eyeliners are extremely soft. I have Creme Gel Liners from Colourpop and completely ruined one. I keep mine in the fridge . I have mini beauty fridge in my bedroom/makeup room. We are revamping it right now so they are in the regular fridge. Kinda funny when you open up the fridge and see a cup of eyeliners. Hahaha.
Bare Minerals takes me back to when I was younger and my grandma used to order BM on QVC, she actually taught me more about makeup than anyone. I'm probably older than you but remember that so well. Oh and I remember the gel cream blue liner? Was super in for us blondes 🤣

The heather palette reminds me a wee bit of wet n wilds petalette.

What hair products do you use for your hair when it’s wavy? It’s gorgeous
I got the purple “Heathered” one and it is lovely! Great colors. Unfortunately the formula is not that wonderful creamy stuff like the gen nude palettes but it’s not bad. I can’t use talc on my eyes so I’m always looking for something I can wear on my eyes.
I’m actually super excited for the Rosewood palette. A few years ago Zoe Sugg came out with a collaboration with Colourpop and it had a pink color just like that cranberry one, but it’s so pigmented that I’m scared of it. Thus having the same color, but in a more sheer formula is right up my alley.
I love how you do your liners and shading, but how did you get that sapphire color under your bottom lashes if you only applied it to your water line? I noticed it on several of your looks, but never saw you put it under your lashes. ?
All the palettes looked good on you. Maybe if you use a mix of the Sunlit and Burnished palettes, you might get a look you're happy with. Just a thought. Enjoy your weekend!

Ooooh❣️ I will definitely have to try these eyeliners! I have allergies and have tried EVERYTHING! You name it, I’ve tried it ~ drugstore, high end, Tom Ford… and they all promised 24 (or longer!) wear time. Not for me! I would be lucky if they lasted 6 hours (typically, it was much, much less!). I purchased the Viseart Violette Entendu? The purple shades in the purple palette here, reminds me a bit of that? Was wondering if you liked the quality of one better than the other? Essence released some similar palettes to these for under $5 and I picked up all six I found on Ulta's website. They are pigmented and soft and the names of both the palettes and the colors they contain are so cute, all related to songs. For instance, one palette is called Dancing Green and one is called Ice, Ice Baby. I would definitely love to see your take on the Essence mini palettes!

All of these looked great on you! Have you seen the mini 6 pan palettes from Essence? They have names that are similar to song titles (ie, Dancing Green). Would be interesting to see you try each of them for your drugstore series.
They are very pretty pallets especially the rose pallet and purple pallet but I generally find mineral make up is not very pigmented and I have seen very similar more affordable eyeshadow sets and eyeliners .
Such pretty looks! I noticed a couple of the eyeliners broke while you were swatching them... Would you say that was from the amount of pressure you used or is it just an overall issue with the liners?
My amount of pressure during swatching and also because a couple of them were too far up; they don't do that when you apply them on the eyes. :) They are soft, though!

I looove your videos, how you bulk pack them with mini-tutorials. Amazing! I'll keep saying it, you're a time wizard unfolding minutes in unsuspected ways 😅🤣🤣 I mean it as a compliment. How do you do it?? Also, when you're applying shadows it seems like you're using a fair amount of strength against your eyelids to dab/blend. I wanna take the brush and gently caress the color on you, lol. Is it my imagination? Is it the camera? 🤔
