- #PNSO really nailed their #Allosaurus jimmadseni. Absolutely love how it turned out. That articulated jaw is Papo quality. And yet again I’m in love with baby blue eyes lol. Really hope they give us an updated stegosaurus to pair with this guy. Highly recommended for your #dinosaur collection.

Oh, it’s not a “rumor”; it’s actually been confirmed and everything. PNSO will indeed be making a Torvosaurus later this year. They’ve already even released the concept art image for it, too. It actually looks pretty interesting, too and I don’t think it’s gonna disappoint. Same for a Carcharodontosaurus (which already has promo images released) and a Yutyrannus, too (in case you didn’t know about the latter two).
If that is true about the torvo i will loose my shit

Thanks for sharing this review of this super detailed Allosaurus. PNSO's workmanship just keeps getting better with each new figure released.
The only nitpick that I have is the non-enlarged thumb claws, but other than that, it's pretty much perfect.
Ok I'm now even more excited for this figure!! 😻😻😻 My favourite dinosaur finally done full justice. I'm looking forward to seeing it next to my Mesozoo Allosaurus!
To anyone watching this video now, the creator of these models, Zhao Chuang, stated that he based this figure off of DINO 11541, better known as “Big Al”. So this species is technically Allosaurus jimmadseni.

What a great Allosaurus model. Complements well with the Safari offering. Not an instant get like Domingo, but I will be getting it soonish. Still not getting anything till the BOTM Tyrannosaur Kickstarter....(sweats in BOTM Pachyrinosaurus and Avaceratops)

PNSO confirmed this is based off fragilis, not jimmadseni. they just used a specimen with a very long elongated skull.
Damn. Everyone was saying it was jimmadseni. I even have a skull cast of jimmadseni and it matched pretty well.
Dino Scream Reviews yeah a bit disappointing, but not too bad. I think PNSO purposefully picked an individual with an elongated skull to make everyone happy tho, because it matches with jimmadseni very well too
@@DinoScreamReviews some random PNSO employee commented on an Instagram comment saying this, so I wouldn’t take it has completely legit. Sometimes PNSO posts mistakes, like one of their books saying an Edmontosaurus is a Citipati.
Dino Scream Reviews also torvo is very likely to come, they have been releasing models for all the recent posters they put up on their Instagram.
It will likely be big as well, pnso estimated their torvo at 11m (probably based on gurneyi, there’s 3 individuals in the 10.5-11m range, but I’ll go more specific once it’s out) so I’m really hoping for a large torvo.
Now we pray it doesn’t end up being another bronze sculpture lol

It’s not a mistake, the skull on the pnso allo matches almost perfectly with a known fragilis skull. They also have their skeletal drawing on the panflet based on fragilis.

Congrats to the fast Review. I have to say, that i prefer the In Hand look way more, than the Promoimages. That proportions. Again, in Hand everything ist different. My only nitpick is the Thumbclaw. This is a real Bummer. But PNSO will have an answer to why they did that :D lovely Figure, might order it. Love the blue eyes on him.
Ps: i am really not that sure, but i do not see, why this is not A. Fragilis. It could work as an A. jimmadseni, but the Skullcomparisons in the Video from DinosDragons left me a bit unsure, if fragilis could be more right. Also, why not. And if someone wants hin to be a jimmadseni, then its fine. Then, you just need the Mesozoo A. europaeus :D
There’s some great discussions going on in the DTF. Seems to be a 50/50 spilt on what people think the species is. It’s great seeing everyone sharing their knowledge trying to figure this figure out. But unless the sculptor publicly says what it is, I’m just going with my gut. And yeah the thumb claw is disappointing.

Hey Dino Scream, I've actually spoke with someone who works at PNSO these days, and they actually confirmed that this model is actually Allosaurus fragillis, i can send you screenshots in your IG DM if you want to see it.
Yeah send it to me. I try and keep up to date what’s going on. Really really wish they would state the species on their models lol. Oh well. Still a great model none the less.

@@thartsandproductions7496 knew it because the paleontologist that actually hired for battle at bigrock was actually was one of the paleontologist who is known for have the jimmnadeus specimen (sorry for my spelling)so there should be some similarities with the skull atleast so I knew it is fragiles coz of it skull similar to BBC allo but either way a fantastic figure

7:59, wow, Stegosaurus is small, but accurate on scale to the Allosaurus.
The head looks like a mix between Allosaurus and Giganotosaurus.

For some reason the Carcharodontosaurus and Yutyrannus where announced but with availability in June.

So it’s stated allosaurus jimmadensi so it’s not an allosaurus fragilis?
This figure is being heavily debated on the FB groups and Dino toy forum. Great arguments on both ends for what species it is. Now PNSO Instagram did say in a private message that it is A.fragilis. However those accounts are usually run by a PR person. If we don’t bet a public confirmation by the actual sculptor, then I think we are free to call it what ever species we want.

I think the allosaurus and Torvosaurus size difference is quite minor in this image and PNSO reflected that quite well in their torvo figure!

people are gonna scandalize me for this, but I feel like there's something off about Paul. somehow it gives a saggy feel even though it isnt. I think its the lack of distinguishing from the neck to the rest of the body and something about the pubic boot looks off. Disregarding species, it's better than CollectA (though I actually quite like that one's headsculpt), about the same to Safari, and (past the paint) Mesozoo's tops it by a little. Love the comparison to the Rebor Stego!
P.S. banger review with the constant shade to CollectA 😂
Everyone has the right to their opinion and I respect that. And this figure has drawn some criticism in the online community. Totally get the issues people have with it.
Have you heard of "#Facts: Dinosaurs"? They got some cool models too. Sadly, no collectibles yet. Just digital...
Is it only me or are its feet too small?
It's moreso that 90% of figures have oversized feet for balancing purposes.
