I just ordered mine today. Ultimately decided on this over the Dunkleosteus for now, but I plan to get that in due time. Can't wait to get this beauty in hand. It's definitely up there with the Lambeosaurus and Parasaurolophus for me, etc. Edit: It will display great alongside the Tarbosaurus and new Therizinosaurus as well, both of which I'll need to catch up with at some point down the road.
In all honesty, I haven't been this excited for a PNSO figure in a long time. Jacques here is a certain standout and then we have Qingge the Therizinosaurus coming too, Christmas do be coming early.
The great Duck God has blessed us with his arrival and shall smite all foolish Tyrannosaurs who dare cross his path and he will then utter the thundering words…”QUACK”
With Deinocheirus being my favourite dinosaur, this is an absolute blessing from PNSO. Definitely makes up for lack of strem 👍 Also SpinoDude so many reviews are coming out from you currently, I’m concerned. Are you trying to leave P. Papolus behind? You know it can’t leave you, it’s staying forever...
Personally from PNSO I really like Gamba the Carcharodontosaurus, what do you think about him (referred to Gamba)? I mean only from a scientific and sculpture point of view ... color doesn't interest me.
Wow that actually looks way better than I thought. I guess ill be replacing my collecta one with this. I really only have a gripe with the wings not being accurately attached to the hands. Also I love how you cant pronounce Dunkleosteus correctly
yeah it's really sweet! Was surprised with the translation from pix to in hand. And I'm really glad you mentioned the wings, it was an oversight on mine and I actually just went down a rabbit hole out of curiosity since a lot of Ornithomimosaur depictions lack the second finger connection, even the Prehistoric Planet Deinocheirus. Turns out Ornithomimosaurs developed full wings much later in their lives than other animals based on a study from 2012 on Ornithomimus feather impressions. They may have even lacked primary feathers, and feather connections to the hands seem to be different. I'm going to read up on it further. And yeah I don't think I'm too consistent with my pronunciation on Dunkleosteus lol, but I've been trying to pronounce it like Dunkle rhyming with uncle- since Dunkleosteus is named after David Dunkle. ("Dunkle's Bones")

Fantastic model, my favourite Deinocheirus and PNSO figure ...but too expensive (as all PNSO)
Bill the Deinocheirus
Well I like deinonychus more!
Quack.
Fun fact: Deinocheirus is not a therizinosaurid. Yep it’s actually more closely related to gallimimus. You learn something every day!
NO WAY, ITS THE...

The fact he says Jaquis instead of Jaques is so funny. SpinoDude if you’re watching this, look up the pronunciation.
Wonderful figure!
