Hi - Great tutorial.. I've been using this SW for some time & learned you can save your preferences under the process tab so you won't need to set each vid individually. Also you can use the left and right arrow on the keyboard instead of using the mouse to scan frames. Learning lots of new stuff and this sw is always getting better. Thanks for the vids

Nice video. I don’t own this software, but I own all other Topaz products for photography. I will buy this, that said, I shall explain a very easy method I have been using so far and it has served me very well. I use FCP X and I play the video full screen on my 27 inch iMac. When I like the part I want to take a picture, I pause the video and move frame by frame using the cursor. When I get the perfect moment, I just do a screenshot and that yields a 20mb file easily. Then, Move it to topaz sharpen ai and you get an even better result,

Hello David . I am wondering if you know of anyone who has used this Program on AVI Files of the Planets , (Mars , Jupiter , Saturn) , as taken through a Telescope ? I'd be interested to see what improvements , if any , could be had to what are normally fairly bleak individual images . /SRK
Quick question for You. Can I clean up say an old episode from an Old TV Show shot in 480p Standard Definition???? By going frame by frame to clean up artifacts like little video circles from sag old video tape and or say tape edits/tape splices???? Or can Topaz Video AI do that in one pass????
It will up convert it and I believe it does it on a frame by frame basis but it won’t let you edit the frames. Whatever is a part of the frames will remain. It’s only function is up converting.

Great tutorial. This is the only Topaz product I do not own. Since I am not doing videos yet, I am not purchasing it any time soon.
Nice video, I thought I was the only one..
The problem though, there's no time stamp only frame, so if that's a 45 minute or 2 hour video, and in VLC you know it's 21;43 how do you find those frames? I've tried to search frame number in VLC but can't see it?
I don't understand why topaz uses frame stamp, Not time. (i'm not versed on video editing) and I don't know how to use that to any advantage, in every way for me it just makes things Tedious and Time consuming
Hi there you would just need to know with how many frames per second you shot the video.
(Timestamp*60*FPS)=your frame

save yourself the time. Just Get AISEESOFT and select enhance , adjust contrast etc before you upgrade your video. It gets the job done in a reasonable amount of time does a good job.
So done with this POS software. Tired everything like down loading latest drivers etc etc. Takes FOREVER to process like a 5 second clip. Thing is useless if you want to upscale a 5 or 10 min video. Seems the software will work on only the Very Highest Spec computers. IF you comp is older than 1 yr old and/ or has anything less that like an Intel i9 chip DONT EVEN WASTE YOUR TIME
topaz must kidding, asking 200 dollars for a program that
will only produce minimal results, and will probably need a 500
dollar CPU for it to work. These video companies put
out a lot of hype but don't deliver, the people that buy
it without first getting the demo are left holding the
bag, because to get your money back is almost impossible.
that's why you can't be rash when buying from video firms.
