I learn so much listening to Legonier panel discussions. These men, while not perfect, have given their lives to bring God's word to unbelievers and believers alike. It's not easy to live and walk in His grace these days but having things like this available definitely give me the strength and knowledge to go on. Pray for them and the other leaders and countries so Christians all over the world will have the wisdom needed to spread the gospel. Jesus is coming soon...believe it!
How come I have never heard Ligonier speak of the excellent Reformed (& Baptist) Peter Masters, the man who has been pastor at Spurgeon's Tabernacle in London since 1970...a dear friend of Dr Masters was the late Martyn Lloyd-Jones, maybe Dr Master's mentor because when you (I) hear the sunday services on internet at the Tabernacle, this great preacher, Master's, he quotes or mentions MLJ from time to time. I just wonder why he's never been invited over here, Master's is as sound and solid a Reformed Baptist as can be found. I suspect (I do not know) but suspect he may not care for the entertainment and "fun times" that have filled up so much of Ligonier ministries in last too many years...they have to keep the audience pumped and loose with jokes and their ego's need the sound of hands clapping...very sad...I imagine Ligonier going further and further and then gone into the area of the Rick Warren and Olsteen camps. Albert Martin and Lloyd-Jones, and Masters are only 3 I can think of now that leave the intentional jokes and looking for audience praise outside of their preaching the solemn words of God...oh, how grateful they taught me for decades mostly! ...In fairness I say this is only serious Q & A I have observed for years...how pleasant it is.
Bible believing protestants who love Jesus become Roman Catholic everyday, praise God! Jesus founded One Church, not 35,000 denominations in the US alone. Read Jn chapter 6! "Whoever eats my body and drinks my blood remains in me." Jesus teaches we remain in Him by partaking the Holy Eucharist! By the way, these guy are soo boring. Listen to Scot Hahn, Robert Baron, Edward Sri, Marcus Grodi.
Your doctrines of: purgatory, progressive justification, Mary kept from personal sin, papal infallibility, Mary’s immaculate conception, infusion over imputation, denial of the 5 solas, papal infallibility, the treasury of merit, praying to Mary and the saints for intercession, and just who your pope is right now, this Unitarian, Marxist, liberal pope who proves papal infallibility is a lie. Much of your doctrine is late and not historic soooo much of it. The reformers brought a restoration. Not everything I agree I don’t claim we have everything right but we got back to the core to the essentials. Btw purgatory is 12th century, Tran substantiation is defined 12th-14th century, your doctrine is fluctuating, your councils contradict, you exalt man and deny God sole attributes that belong to him alone

Roman catholic is 1st Christian & spoil the christian itself, Protestant came to fixed it. 👌
