I was only 2 years old (75 now) when this came on tv, but do remember watching them when I was a little older and then the reruns of course. Funny show that will always be funny to whatever generation is watching them.
The one where Lucy gets a Loving Cup stuck on her head is hilarious, and the one where she tries to fly back from Europe with a 25 lbs piece of cheese disguised as a baby.
So funny! I think the Vitameatavegamin commercial episode is maybe the funniest --- the look on her face when she had to take the stuff was so realistic and hilarious. But I also love the grape-stomping scene, too. And the one where she and Ethel are Martians is a riot.
I just turned 60 this January and I loved this show. Lucy was hilarious and so was Ricky, Ethel and Fred. I have seen all of the episodes. I couldn't stop laughing when I watched this. Lucy and ( Ricky ) Dezi Arnez were really married in real life.
I remember watching this as a kid in the 80s and not knowing it was an old show even though it was b&w - as you're watching it the b&w is not even a focal point or noticable bc the acting and entertainment is so on game!
At 3:24 Lucy looks like she's about to gag. Thanks for reacting to this!! You picked a good one! You're right . . . it's still as funny as it was back then. This show is from the early 1950s. Talking about Lucy singing . . . that was a running gag on the show . . . she couldn't sing . . . she sang off key and was always trying to get into Ricky's act even though she had no talent.
😂🤣 Ah I love Lucy is just a Gem. I remember my Grandma watching it & I would sit & watch it with her. I grew up watching I Love Lucy & sometimes when I get in a sad or certain mood, I will watch I Love Lucy. I will still laugh at the same episodes I've seen a million times over. This was indeed one of the funniest scenes. Also the VitaMeataVegamin episode where she ingests the liquid vitamin & has to keep doing retakes & the alcohol in the vitamins is 46% 😂🤣 That episode will never get old hahaha. Both of you guys have such a contagious laugh, made it all the more entertaining to watch & laugh along with you guys. Great reaction 🧡💙🤍
Funny scene. I think they were influenced by Charlie Chaplin. This scene reminds me very much of the feeding machine scene from the classic movie _Modern Times._
Watch the "Dean Martin Celebrity Roasts' ALL th great stars from the 50's, 60's ,70"s Redd Foxx, Sammy Davis Jr, Rich Little, Don Rickles, on and on... Lucille Ball, its WILD, and hilarious
That’s why she has been my all time favorite comedian.
Have all of her shows on video

I'm 54. I grew up watching re-runs of this. Still makes me laugh! This clip is from the 1950s.

This is about 1952. Lucy and Desi were already divorced by 1960. In the 60s she was doing The Lucy Show 1962-68 and Here's Lucy (1968-74)
"I t just goes to show,no matter what color you are, black or white, everyone loved Lucy"
That's right!!!

Lucille Ball was the greatest physical comedian. Check out the grape stomping scene - hilarious!
So simple but boy did we laugh.

That episode of I Love Lucy aired in September 1952, first episode of the second season, according to IMDb.

This was back in 1952
It was the early 1950s, about 65-70 years ago.
I love that episode lol
Watch the "Dean Martin Celebrity Roasts'
ALL th great stars from the 50's, 60's ,70"s
Redd Foxx, Sammy Davis Jr, Rich Little, Don Rickles, on and on... Lucille Ball, its WILD, and hilarious
Love this show.
She rehearsed all the gags over and over until she owned it.
She is the best
It's older than you think, from the fifties not the sixties. Vivian Vance as Ethel is as funny as Lucy in this clip.
Such a classic routine that cartoon shows recreate it today
This was in the early 50s.
You have to watch the Vitameavegamin episode. I love all the episodes but I think that one is the funniest! Too much alcohol in the base! LOL
Vitameatavegamin
The show ran from the early 1950s-early 1960s.
It ran from October 1951 to May 1957..and is seen world wide today, everyday. Amazing.
