Yes I listen to books. I was having trouble reading and still do due to preoccupation , anxiety and issues with focus and concentration. I really enjoy because I can easily backtrack if I forgot any. We care for my 87 yo father in law (he lives with us). And one of our children now 24 is a survivor of violent crime that left many medical and psychiatric issues so added care there too. Lost ring to books while driving or resting has been good for me.
Oh no , don't get filler! You look fabulous just the way you are. 💕 I think I will totally age naturally and think everyone looks so much better without botox and filler

The Old Testament can be a hard read with all the genealogy of the tribes and such. I'm sure I don't pronounce most of them correctly. Love the Psalms. Hi Jason!

Oh how I loved this video. And loved Jason's cameo appearance. Thanks for the book rec, I just ordered Unshaken & get it tomorrow. Going to watch Belgravia love those period pieces. I have been watching " Call the Midwife" It's on PBS. I think it is now in season 13 so you can go back and catch up. It is set in East London in the 1950's. I love the stories, the characters, and even the clothes. As a NICU nurse you might really love it. Thanks again for all you do on here and all you do to uplift us. Hugs and prayers to you and Jason. We have watched “Call the Midwife” since the beginning. It’s one of the best written programs on TV in our opinion. The way it moves through the time periods of the mid 20th century makes it so interesting as we lived through that time as kids.
It’s definitely worth watching.

Always love those little tidbits of Jason!! For us older ladies who are wearing less makeup, I recommend Lumi by Loreal. It's very light with a bit of color that makes my face glow. I am 77, and I am constantly receiving compliments about my skin, more than I did when I was younger!

Leslie, I love everything you do. I was watching another Utube video and she was raving about Il Makiage but couldn’t afford it so she set out to find something comparable and she discovered e.l.f. Flawless Satin Foundation. She said it is almost identical. It is on Amazon for $6.00 for 0.68 oz. Il Makiage is 1 oz. I tried it and love it. It is very subtle and just blends and covers flaws nicely.

Love, love, love the Gilded Age. Can't wait for Season 3, although I thought I saw that won't be until 2025. I enjoy Hallmark movies and Faith and Family movies. When Calls the Heart just started back up with Season 11.

I read the Housemaid in two bookclubs . I read it in two days ! So good ! Definitely lots of twists and turns. Already read the second book in series. Also preordered the 3rd book releasing in June

I'm commenting because I just watched Episode 31 of Living with Dementia and I think you are a remarkable women and caretaker to your husband. You are a light for so many and please never feel like you need to apologize for feeling sad. This is a tough situation and no one can understand because they are not living it. On another note, I do enjoy your videos. I love your honesty about products. You are beautiful!
This was a fun video!! I have to admit, I have always found the Bible to be a difficult read, so I use "The Bible Recap, A One Year Guide to Reading and Understanding the Entire Bible" by Tara Leigh Cobble. She really breaks down the daunting bits into interesting and easy to understand recaps one day at a time!! One author who I LOVE is Jane Fallon. She writes for women in their 40's/50's. Her books are love stories with fun twists and no smut. They are books you can share with anyone!

That was so much fun Leslie. And you are just a breath of fresh air. I know your life is not easy, but you have such a good attitude that you make me ashamed of myself when I get the mulligrubs, as we say in the south. Enjoyed Jason's cameos. The book on the Old Testament looks very interesting. All of the OT symbolism is important, but sometimes so hard to understand. A Sunday School teacher years ago used to say that "the Old Testament is the New Testament concealed; the New Testament is the Old Testament revealed." I'm with you on the old world books and videos. Downton Abbey is my all-time favorite too, and I think it's time to pull out the DVDs and watch it again.
