do you have one? these reviews are biased AF. this roborock can't even navigate a rug with patterns on it. This is a well documented flaw, all over redit and the roborock page, but this guy doesn't mention it. Roborock have known for 2 years that this is a problem, but asll they have done is tell people to put TAPE over the cliff sensors! $500+ vacs that have to be botched with painters tape if you have any patters on your flooring. How come these "great reviews" just leave out that huge issue? Because he's getting paid... this is a roborock commercial NOT a review.
I was on the fence about buying any kind of robot vacuum, so I thank you for this great and thorough review. Yes, I bought an S6 and was very impressed with the quality cleaning and the great features. I liked it so well, I bought another one for the second floor since, having a really bad back, I can't carry one unit up and down the stairs. It's a real game changer for me in keeping the house tidy. Many thanks again!
I had purchased this 2months back, I have to tell you it is the best available in the market. Extremely effective cleaning. Low noise and the cleaning pattern is astonishing and very superior AI tech is involved compared to other products in the market.
I have to say that I really enjoy your videos! I don't know about others but I prefer the longer videos compared to the short ones. Just a personal preference. I always appreciate how much effort and care you put into your videos so keep up the good work!
Just ordered an s6 from amazon for $440, have been following the robot vacuum game for a long time and following your channel a long time and im extremely excited for my first robot after dreaming of owning one as a kid when the very first roomba came out and blew my mind. I was going to settle for an s4max as it checked all my boxes and i really dont desire the mop part (I have a house keeper to do the harder stuff) I just want my downstairs tile clean everyday when i wake up, but then the s4 max stopped being on sale for like 320 and the s6 could be had for 440 out the door so i couldnt say no to a flagship robot for $50 more, who knows, maybe ill even get use out of the mop feature. Here's to my first robot, and many more years of great vacuum content! Cheers!
8:30 This is actually an intended feature. When the S6 was first released, the edge brush would stall on longer carpets which caused the unit to shut down since it thought there was a problem. Not too long after, a software update was released which caused the brush to stop spinning entirely on certain carpets (presumably when it detects as certain amount of resistance on the drive shaft). Yes, it would clean better with that brush spinning, but if it's a choice between the brush shutting down and the entire thing entering an error state, I'll take the auto-shutdown.
I've had this vacuum for a long time now and it recently broke because one of the charging contacts is no longer working but I want to point out a couple of things. -The mopping function has a reservoir that isn't big enough and doesn't put out enough water and they also recommend against using a cleaning solution but it's better than nothing. -The fact that it has no rotating brush on the other side means that there will be hairs (we have 2 border collies) in the wheels. -The small wheel at the front also picks up a lot of hair and there will be hair stuck inside the gaps of that wheel which is almost impossible to get out. -The opening that leads to the bin in the vacuum sometimes got clogged up with all the hair from the dogs which makes it so it does a sub par run for that particular day. (we run it every day) -You essentially have to clean it every time you run it if you're in a similar situation as I am as hair gets stuck in the brush or the bin is going to be full. -The big cylinder brush still gets a lot of hair stuck in it which I would like to see improved. It's still a great robot vacuum but there are definitely things to be improved upon
I had a Genie ZX1000 as it too did mop, for about nine months in 2018. Got my S5 about mid Feb this year after watching your comrehensive comparison. Thank you for your good work.
I notice after a firmware update, my S5 also occasionally stops it's side brush from spinning when it hits an object. I think this may have carried down from the s6 code.
Brutus I agree once the self emptying bin arrives Roomba will be hurting. Maybe Roborock will design a Robot Vacuum that has the ability to go up and down stairs. That I believe is the next big Game Changer 😀
This unit is very effective picking up dog hair🌼 The dust bin also is effectively designed and holds a lot requiring less frequent cleaning than our other version - a more expensive room mapping version.
I have a S5 and since it's my first robot vacuum, I have to say that me and my family are pretty surprised by the performance of this robot. It cleans the whole house without a problem and rarely misses any dust. Another thing that is really amazing about this product is all the sensors that it has inside and outside. There was this one time when I put the filter in and it still hadnt dried and the robot told me to check if the filter is dried and also send me a notification saying that it will lower the power, because of that. I have to say that if there is any kind of problem with the vacuum, you'll get a notification and the vacuum will use its speakers to repeat the message. The only thing that is kinda strange about it is the mopping feature. There are only 2 holes for the water to go through and they are pretty small, so the mop doesn't stay as wet as it should be, at least in my opinion. You can easily fix this tho. I usually wet the mop's cloth a bit with water before putting it on and it pretty much solves the issue. Really amazing product and for sure will make your life a bit easier!
Thank you so much for sharing. You're undoubtedly the best Vacuum Reviewer on UA-cam. You explain all the stuff extraordinarily. Have wonderful days ahead.
The Roborock S6 has a new challenger (according to all the german Robovac experts on YT) called" 360 S7!" It vas created to knock Roborock S6 from its throne (came out August 5th 2019) thus extremely interesting to see a comparison between them both!!!!
Thank you so much for this long waited video! I HAVE to ask you, why don't you put the robot super close to the ground and place a box around it? With the suction meter hole because they are not designed being floating 🤔 Wonder when they’ll release some sort of emptying base. Then they’ll be supreme!
Mastern Yeah Roborock owners would appreciate the option to have a self emptying bin 😀. For now I think Roborock is happy with its s6 upgrade, it is the smartest and most efficient navigating vacuum robot commercially available. To keep prices competitive they are sticking with a tried and true design and adding a self emptying bin would require a significant design change. Deebot R98 had this feature and wasn’t very successful so their new Ozmo 930 and soon to be released 960 doesn’t have the self empty bin feature.
600 USD WOW! I have the S5 and I'm immensely happy with it. It's one of the best investments a person can make. However, I bought mine for 360 USD. So paying almost double the price for minor updates is a big NO. I recommend people buy the S5 in stead. Few minutes of cleaning time saved is not a big deal considering you are paying almost half the price.
I noticed with the new side brush on carpet that it takes a few runs before it wears the "stickiness" off the rubber. It seems to run much smoother now but will occasionally not spin at all like in your tests. I do believe it may be some battery savings measure.
Star Wolf Yeah that was interesting to see it stop spinning, I am still figuring out why the side brush is doing that, maybe the sensor in the motor senses too much resistance to try to spin the side brush so it momentarily stops trying to spin to prevent the motor from overheating and cause damage 🤔
zippodk so so true, If you get the s9+ and the little mopping buddy the Braava m6 that iRobot wants you to get for a cool $499 than you are look closer to $2,000, so basically 3 Roborock s6, which can Mop too 😁
Unfortunately it's not "a bit" more expensive than s5 it's A LOT more expensive. I bought my S5 for 380USD on ali and just a month before I bought it it was for sale below 300USD (now starting at 365USD). I can't find s6 for less than 600USD.
@@og_werwest Even then, i bought S5 when it just came out, was 450 euros, the S6 is 550 now. For the price difference as TODAY, i would still buy the S5, which is ~380EUR
True, the Roborock has dropped down significantly in price around the $400 mark. Also the first gen Roborock a steal too. The s6 is still fairly new so it will take sometime to drop down in price, but the Roborock s5 will make most people happy, including me 😀. Had mine for 2 years!!!
I found the Roborock Family s5 and s6 has a lot great features that Neato d7 has. Area select, no go lines, long battery life. I have always liked the D shaped design and find it cleans better than the round design of the s5. If you like a lot smart features, aka being able to physically move the robot and have it reposition it self automatically than the Roborock the bot to get. Also the Roborock has a more efficient navigation algorithm than the D7, can navigate objects more efficiently. The d7 is a better all around cleaner, with it better Combo style extractor. D7 better at pet hair, while both can pickup pet hair the D7 extractor doesn’t get tangled up in pet hair like the Roborock.
@@RobotMasters You clearly did not own both vacuumes. The S5-6 cleans alot better than Neatos. The side brush comes under chair and table legs while neato tends to climb on walls in tight spaces and cannot come close to objects becouse of the D shape. Navigation is miles better in roborock while neato almost looks clumsy in comparison.
zippodk Yeah I had the Neato D7 when it first came out, I returned it because it wasn’t a smart as the Roborock in terms of navigation. I did like the cleaning performance and the brush didn’t get tangled up with hair like the my Roborock s5 did.
I don't know about the D7 and S6, but I've tried the D6 and S5: the Neato was such a pain, and so loud, I would have kept the S5 if the S6 was not released just this week.
8:06 an increase of 10dB means it is twice as loud as before. So a decrease of 6 means it is a 3/5 (or 60%) as loud as before, or 40% quieter. (I think... I know the 10dB = 2x is correct, but I'm not sure I did the percentages correctly)
How good is for shag high pile carpet de roborock S6? I have a roomba E5, does it work better on shag high pile carpet the roborock S6 in camparison to Roomba s6? and how does they compare on suction power?
i hope at the very least the S6 brush can be disassembled. One thing i missed from my proscenic is despite being a cheapo no name robovac; you could take the sides off to remove embedded hair.
I would suggest buying S5 as its almost 2x cheaper and still does the same job. Also, I saw that the hair test has the same problem as S5 - hair gets stuck on sides mostly (where brush part ends). I find it funny, that they do not add the same functionality inside the app for the S5. There is no reason why S5 could not support Room mapping and other functions.
Regarding the locked functionality, is what tech companies started doing a lot more recently. See Google with the Pixel phone line-up, where specific features are only unlocked on the latest phones, or CPU manufacturers with locked/unlocked versions of the same CPU. Or when manufacturing the same product is cheaper than designing different versions, seeTesla with software-locked batteries (sell exact same car with 100kwh batteries, and offer a 75kwh version which has the same batteries, but some of them not used).
Hi there! When the roborock is done cleaning, returns to the dock and is fully charged, should I turn off the docking station and leave the roborock in sleeping state (and the battery gradually discharges) or do I leave to to continually be charging? Which approach is better in terms of prolonging the battery life and performance? Thank you
Only variable I haven't seen tested on this channel is a cat factor test. Test to see if a household pet will bother/deter the robot from cleaning certain areas of the rooms due to either blocking the lidar or even being ridden on.
Did you get confirmation that the side brush behavior is intentional? We just got an S5 Max and have thick, soft carpet, and our side brush does the same thing; quits spinning and drags behind. I've tried the old style bristle side brush and it does the same thing. Currently, I feel the need to remove the side brush when vacuuming the carpet, but I'd like a better solution. If it's designed to stop spinning, maybe I'll just leave it on.
@@VacuumWars Ok you can upload the long hair cleanup test between the Shark apex duoclean 0m vs the Bissell Pet hair eraser video after you review the newest Bissell.
Hi, I just bought an S6, but the app is giving me some issues. I can't seem to find any official help guides. I found the "save map" function, but, even though the S6 cleaned the whole house (and did a good job) it only generated a map for the first room. Do I have to manually add rooms and run it again?. The screenshot you show at 1:39 is different to what I see. When it's cleaning, I dont see the map, just an icon. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks
Recommendable. Have had it for 14 days. Maybe it just me, but it seems to be missing some kind of off-map mode. Have high door steps so it cannot map the entire home. You can also have several floors. When you move it and put it in a room outside the map, the map is smashed and you need to restore it in map mangement after cleaning.. There is a need to manage areas it cannot reach from the dock itself.
Looking strictly for a robot mop. So you would agree, the iRobot M6 takes the crown for best mop? (only) Also, is there an iOS/Apple version of the app?
Hi Sir. How does S6 works if you have different levels, for example between kitchen and living room? Does it work if I just lift it down/up and it continues to clean or do I need to change location on charger as well? KR Leif Norman, SWE
The S5 now has selective area cleaning as well. The main pros thing I see is the brush and the chip, but I think the brush matches. Can you please tell me if they are compatible?
I wish roborock had increased the volume of the dust bin. For me that is the only flaw of the S5 so with the bigger area vacuumed (with better batery life and navigation) the S6 could really use a larger dust bin. Great review!
PLEASE please please do the 360 s6. I need something that handles shag carpet, lots of obstacles, and good with pet hair. you make the best vacuum videos.
So if i want scheduled room cleaning i have to upgrade my S5 to the S6? Do you know if this feature is enabled because of the new chip or simply that they want to give us a reason to upgrade?
I can't imagine that the S5 is not capable of doing that... I bet it's a selling point fr the S6.. they should really leave that shit and give us an update for S5 :( I would love to be able to command it via google home, "clean kitchen" xD
Question: What if you move houses? Will the robot vacuum be able to unlearn the old house layout and relearn a new one? Is there a limit to how many house layouts you can have on a robot vacuum?
Usually they only remember 1 map. I have an double story house and an S5 and as soon as I move it to the second floor it erases the first floor map and creates a new map.
How does this vacuum work with HVAC floor grates? I have one in the middle of the hallway and I am afraid the cliff sensors may activate. Thoughts? Thank you!

Please do Viomi v2 robot vacuum review. It works on Mi home app.
So the key feature of the S6, dividing rooms is a complete software feature that the S5 could also have, it is not something that requires a more powerful processor.
are HEPA filters important in these robot vacuums? My husband is always arguing that vacuums create dust as they are working. Do you notice these vacuums creating dust?
hi. Should i start cleaning (without the mopping function) then start cleaning again (with mopping function) or can directly clean my house with mopping function?
@@reggieoverton121 and it will also loose in battery time, and that the S5/6 because of the LIDAR you can pick it up and put it somewhere else and recognises where it is, and doesn't get stuck between chairs because of the rounded shape, and it works in the dark, and cost almost 3 times less
@@reggieoverton121 You can look it up on the internet and almost everywhere you'll see the S5/6 being in the top three. I own a S5 and I can say that it is the best purchase I have ever made! At least in my home the robot almost never misses any kind of dirt. The chance of it happening is like 1/60.
@@reggieoverton121 I dont think I would ever tell someone it can easily be done with a software update. Neato and Roborock use LIDAR to achieve this, and unfortunately they use a camera based system in the Roomba. I'm pretty sure that is exactly why its been rumored forever but iRobot can't figure out a way to implement it and make it work. I would not remotely trust the software side of iRobot to try justifying a $1300 price tag by saying, "oh they will easily fix it with a software upgrade."
Love the content you do, keep it up! :D retuned my neato D6, was not satisfied, just bumped into things, got error on every run " cannot find floorplan" so the software seems really poor and much bugs so I bought the S5 and i have a dark carpet by the bed and it refuses to run over becaue of the fall sensors, does the S6 have the same sensors? or does it work with dark rugs and floor? Again, really good content!
Hi. Thx 4 the great video. I don't have a dedicated place for the charger. If I move the charger, would it be able to know without having to map again ?
I just bought this based on the reviews you had and absolutely love it, I was on the fence between this and the i7 (because it empties itself) but after using the s6 today it was the best choice. Thanks for the reviews!
Have you done any tests for homes with more than one floor? Not sure if I'm ready for a robot vacuum on each floor, so was thinking of moving it between floors. Does the S6 or S5 support this?
Jau-Ling Chou The Roborock s6 has the ability to remember multiple floor plans, I think it 2 to 3, similar to the Neato D7. Keep in mind the this feature on the Roborock is still in Beta. If you are looking for a robot that can memorize multiple floor plans the 360 s6 and Roomba i7 / s9 has the ability to memorize up to 10 different floor plans.
As always, great review. But I have one question, can you tell me how make the freezes frame effects when you show the robot cleaning the whole room. I want to try something with a person but couldn't figure it out without freezing every frame by hand... Could you give me some hints
But what if you take a turbo brush from the S50 model and install it in the S6 ?? Will the suction power be the same as with the S50 - 17 CFM?And correctly, I understand that despite the fact that the suction power of the S6 is Weaker, it cleaningbetter than the S50 ?? And please check one moment.Install a turbo brush from S6 to S50 And the side brush. And check the strength of the suction and the quality of cleaning. Will it be the same as on S6?
Does the LIDAR mapping indicate where rugs are located in the maps? If not, how do you program the mop to avoid them, a bit of trial and error? Also does this have any Google Assistant or Alexa support?
No it doesn't do it automatically. But the map is so accurate that you can do it manually with no go zones and in general at the first try is good to go.
great reveiw! does it work with the mihome app in the China server? or just the singapore server? can we use google home to command it? such as "clean kitchen" ?
Lazy Vacuum Reviews. Thanks for the detailed review. Mom got the S4 for prime day. Though I've seen the S6 being about the same price as the S5 now thanks to coupons or used ones.
I just bought the roborock S6, and I got a question for you or any other user of the S6, do you feel a real difference of noise between normal mode and quiet mode ? Because actually I don’t, I wonder if mine got a technical problem thanks a lot
It's nice to see a new robot vacuum that navigates like a new robot vacuum should...Unlike the s9+ or Jet M6 for that matter.... Both of which navigate like a drunk person at times.
@@RickyisHere I was about to purchase one yesterday and I stopped to watch some videos of the pathing and the software. I couldn't believe what I saw, how they can even try justifying its price tag boggles me.

@@Byhrum sorry to spoil your hopes but Roborock themselves have already made a statement last month saying that they have no future plans to implement the new software features of the S6 on the S5. below is the exact statement word for word. "Hello RR fans, our previous statement has caused quite a stir. Do know that we understand your feelings and definitely consider your opinions. We would like to address some of the concerns we all share here: The Roborock S6 includes improved mapping and a room management feature. Though, both features are currently only available on the S6. We realize that there has been some miscommunication about whether these features will be available on the S5 and we sincerely apologize for that. We regularly offer updates and possible improvements to any of our products. Even though these updates may appear to be limited, we promise that every product gives you the best experience according to its available, implemented features and functions. As always, any future updates for the Roborock S5 will be in line with our product planning strategy and the general development of the market, while also considering the resources we have at hand. Taking into account these factors, there’s no plan to integrate the improved mapping and room management feature for the S5 in the near future. Got my S6 for 450 USD from the official store on Amazon during Thanksgivings week.Very happy about it!
The S6 is 30% off today at Home Depot ($419)
I noticed with the new side brush on carpet that it takes a few runs before it wears the "stickiness" off the rubber. It seems to run much smoother now but will occasionally not spin at all like in your tests. I do believe it may be some battery savings measure.
Star Wolf Yeah that was interesting to see it stop spinning, I am still figuring out why the side brush is doing that, maybe the sensor in the motor senses too much resistance to try to spin the side brush so it momentarily stops trying to spin to prevent the motor from overheating and cause damage 🤔
Will you upload a compairson with the Roomba S9+?
Yess, I am waiting for it
It should be s9 vs 2x S6 because of the price difference. 😂
The cost at less than half is no competition for the roborock. Unless you got money to throw around then s5 or s6 is better value.
zippodk so so true, If you get the s9+ and the little mopping buddy the Braava m6 that iRobot wants you to get for a cool $499 than you are look closer to $2,000, so basically 3 Roborock s6, which can Mop too 😁
Unfortunately it's not "a bit" more expensive than s5 it's A LOT more expensive. I bought my S5 for 380USD on ali and just a month before I bought it it was for sale below 300USD (now starting at 365USD). I can't find s6 for less than 600USD.
If you compare prices, compare with price that s5 had when it came to market
@@og_werwest Even then, i bought S5 when it just came out, was 450 euros, the S6 is 550 now. For the price difference as TODAY, i would still buy the S5, which is ~380EUR
True, the Roborock has dropped down significantly in price around the $400 mark. Also the first gen Roborock a steal too. The s6 is still fairly new so it will take sometime to drop down in price, but the Roborock s5 will make most people happy, including me 😀. Had mine for 2 years!!!
No comparison with the d7? Especially since they're basically keep coping neato features
I'll get to it soon!
Neato is sleeping in class.
Can you do a comparison of the Robo S6, Neato D7 and the Roomba S9+ as it seems those are the top 3 robot vacuums
I don't know about the D7 and S6, but I've tried the D6 and S5: the Neato was such a pain, and so loud, I would have kept the S5 if the S6 was not released just this week.
So much appreciation to the dedication put in this video. Thank you.
What i wanna know is...where do you get your hair for testing!?
From his wife :D
Martin Kuba Hahaha, that where I get mine from to do my Vacuum Testing 😆
@@MartinKubaS5 is his wife a circus clown?
8:06 an increase of 10dB means it is twice as loud as before. So a decrease of 6 means it is a 3/5 (or 60%) as loud as before, or 40% quieter. (I think... I know the 10dB = 2x is correct, but I'm not sure I did the percentages correctly)
How good is for shag high pile
carpet de roborock S6? I have a roomba E5, does it work better on shag high pile carpet the roborock S6 in camparison to Roomba s6? and how does they compare on suction power?
Thank you, this helped me decide between the S5 and the newer S6. S6 it is!!!!!
Do you know if it picks up little stones or bolts?
Can you save multiple floor plans for multi floor homes like the neato d7?
Excellent video. (Rare thing these days.) Thank you for making this.
Thank you!
Can I purchase the s6 parts like the improved brush for my s5? If so where?
Same question
i hope at the very least the S6 brush can be disassembled. One thing i missed from my proscenic is despite being a cheapo no name robovac; you could take the sides off to remove embedded hair.
Yes you can. All xiaomi vacuums have interchangeable parts. Not sure for US, I use Aliexpress
same here! new brush for long hairs might be interesting... any link where to buy? is the filter the same?
Same filter. Look for roborock s6 spare parts in Aliexpress
From my experience, my S5 does get a lot of hair on the edges of the brush roll (not the brush itself) and surprisingly the small wheel at the front.
Hi there!
When the roborock is done cleaning, returns to the dock and is fully charged, should I turn off the docking station and leave the roborock in sleeping state (and the battery gradually discharges) or do I leave to to continually be charging? Which approach is better in terms of prolonging the battery life and performance?
Thank you
I am disabled. Use wheel chair and walker. Please how much is this? Looks amazing.
Shockingly thorough review, well done.
Does it support multi-floor cleaning? Every review has a different answer to this question but no one seems to have actually tested it.
Hey VaccumWars when do you think you'll upload "Long hair cleanup test between the Shark apex duoclean 0m vs the Bissell Pet hair eraser."?
Thats a really good idea, probably when I review the newest Bissell!
@@VacuumWars Ok you can upload the long hair cleanup test between the Shark apex duoclean 0m vs the Bissell Pet hair eraser video after you review the newest Bissell.
@@VacuumWars You should compare long hair test with s5 and s6. Also interchange new brush and put it to the s5 and redo the test!!!!
Can I use the mopping attachement from S6 on S5 and be able to take adventage of two water aplication levels?
MrOzyreusz excellent question! I would like to know this as well?
Is this safe for use on LVP? I love my S4 but all the forums indicate that the “beater bar” makes it obsolete for use with luxury vinyl planking. 😞
There is a need to manage areas it cannot reach from the dock itself.
very helpful video...between this roborock S6 and ECOVAC Debbot N8, which one do you recommend?
Been looking for your review of the s6 pure with no success... Have you done one? Thanks
Can you make a review for S6 Pure? I can't decide whether to get S6 Pure or S5 Max
Looking strictly for a robot mop. So you would agree, the iRobot M6 takes the crown for best mop? (only) Also, is there an iOS/Apple version of the app?
yes. has ios app. bought the s6 in part due to this review. unit works great, app works great. minor bugs/annoyances but overall highly reccomend.
ergsdgs34 thank you for the insight!
Hi Sir. How does S6 works if you have different levels, for example between kitchen and living room? Does it work if I just lift it down/up and it continues to clean or do I need to change location on charger as well? KR Leif Norman, SWE
Did i miss something, or did you not talk about the S6 ability to climb over door frames, and tall carpets? :S
I think almost ever robot vacuum does that
The S5 now has selective area cleaning as well. The main pros thing I see is the brush and the chip, but I think the brush matches. Can you please tell me if they are compatible?
I'd love to see a hair test on carpet added as well!
I wish roborock had increased the volume of the dust bin. For me that is the only flaw of the S5 so with the bigger area vacuumed (with better batery life and navigation) the S6 could really use a larger dust bin.
Great review!
Does the red brush work on the S5?
Does it support more than 1 map save, for houses with 2 floors?
Yes to both
What about multilevel floor cleaning is this one can be switched from basement, first floor? Thanks for your review.
You can save three maps in the S6.
Thanks for the review mate.Really usefull:)! Just bought the S6 and Iam really happy with that
I have never seen a video where dirt is put in a corner to see if the brushes reach them.
I have seen it. It was a comparison of 4 vacuums.
PLEASE please please do the 360 s6. I need something that handles shag carpet, lots of obstacles, and good with pet hair. you make the best vacuum videos.
The 360 S7 came out a few days ago! Just ordered it on gearbest! German youtubers are saying it as designed to challenge the Roborock S6 (s60)
@@Eagle-Striker I installed their software, it wants my phone number. WTF
Yay for 'no go' lines for use with the floor cleaner. Too bad the carpet performance was just OK.
Is there a way to differentiate mopping and vacuuming? such as, when attach the mop it'll know not to mop an area that I tell it not to? Thanks!
Sorry this might a silly question, but does the S6 hover AND mop at the same time (when the mop attachment is on)?
You missed one part of the S6's improved mopping module: it now has a configurable water flow.
Jeffrey Good Point, I think it like two water flow settings 🤔.
We want a battle Roborock S6 vs Roomba s9+ !
Roomba will wins hands down. The only lost the roomba will take will be navigation and no-go lines which can easily be done with a software upgrade.
Michael Larson as I stated. iRobot is releasing a software update for no-go lines next week. ua-cam.com/video/Nvokt8vAB74/v-deo.html
Love the content you do, keep it up! :D
retuned my neato D6, was not satisfied, just bumped into things, got error on every run " cannot find floorplan" so the software seems really poor and much bugs
so I bought the S5 and i have a dark carpet by the bed and it refuses to run over becaue of the fall sensors, does the S6 have the same sensors? or does it work with dark rugs and floor?
Again, really good content!
Hi. Thx 4 the great video. I don't have a dedicated place for the charger. If I move the charger, would it be able to know without having to map again ?
yes it will

Can you do best handheld corded vacs with powered brush rolls like the dirt devil scorpion?
It is better to buy Xiaomi Mi 1S Robot Vacuum Cleaner is better the 360 or S5 Robot Vacuum Cleaner ?
Very informative review! I just have one question, how high thresholds can this robot climb? I have some thresholds in my home that are 25 mm high.
Great work dude!
PJS171 bit of trial and error.
You could remote-control the robot to the edge of the carpet to get an indication on the map, as to where the carpet starts.
Can you review the Proscenic M7 and compare? It's advertising 2600pa and has a unique mopping mode.
great reveiw!

Thanks for the detailed review. Mom got the S4 for prime day. Though I've seen the S6 being about the same price as the S5 now thanks to coupons or used ones.
I am hesitated, should I get this one, or the Neato d7? What do you think?
I just bought the roborock S6, and I got a question for you or any other user of the S6, do you feel a real difference of noise between normal mode and quiet mode ? Because actually I don’t, I wonder if mine got a technical problem thanks a lot
It's nice to see a new robot vacuum that navigates like a new robot vacuum should...Unlike the s9+ or Jet M6 for that matter.... Both of which navigate like a drunk person at times.
I returned the Jet M6 for that reason, it seems the “smart” navigation was an impairment for the robot ...

We would like to address some of the concerns we all share here:
The Roborock S6 includes improved mapping and a room management feature.
