I thought it'd only be me hyperloading Rex since I usually play RPGs like this by investing one character at a time, starting with my favorites. Good thing my favorite was also clearly broken from the minute I started playing him
Rex is so absurdly powerful its not even like a meme. Slap a Brute Memory and a crit up acfesory on him and he can pretty much erase every enemy with the exception of bosses and uniques. Now, Rex at full optimisation is a different existence entirely. He will attack once, gain aggro, and then annihilate the enemy. The rest of the party just kind of changes from dps to the "keep rex alive squad"

Not even the base game defender classes can keep up, and that version of him is missing half the passives that make him so overpowered in FR.
For his neutral special, he spins. For each hit he makes, the special stunlocks the opponent and adds 4 additional hits to the attack. His other specials dont matter, he wins.
In Xenoblade canon, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit definitely do exist, because humanity made them exist. And Rex has, in some manner of speaking, conquered all three of them.

The only drawback of this strat is that you won't be using your Talent Art... or Unity Combo.... often since you'll be spending half the fight unconscious in the first place. with the other half being happy neurons as you physically see the health bar on NMs deplete

Shulk’s biggest issue is having to compete with Rex. Shulk and Nikol never stood a chance.
