- Undertale Yellow's Neutral ending is actually terrifying. I played the neutral ending of undertale yellow, Clover, the Justice soul, continues their adventure, but now we pass judgement on the monsters. We travel through the underground, spending time with our best friend Flowey! Everything does NOT go wrong! And Martlet is okay! Totally!
Undertale Yellow but I take nothing seriously Undertale Yellow is an incredible Undertale Fangame that just had it's full release! It acts as a prequel to the Undertale story, and you play as the wielder of the soul of Justice, Clover! But in this playthrough, there is a twist; I'm playing.
And even though I'm a huge fan of Undertale and Deltarune, you already know I'm incapable of taking anything completely seriously! So settle down and get ready for this new series!

when flowey kills you, he actually puts his vines around your soul, so it wouldn’t split apart, as he didn’t want to kill you, he’s just playing with you before he absorbs your soul.

He does not do that because he needs your soul not to be shattered to absorb it.

@@vnmememan8657 Not necessarily, we do not know that for a fact. We know that when Flowey becomes Asriel Dreemurr, he finalizes his form and the souls can no longer revolt, differently from Omega Flowey, in which they revolt after you ask for help long enough. I can imagine it is possible for an one soul only absorption to be unstable if the human really wants to fight against it.
@@LucasTF I mean, we do know souls can resist or assert themselves after being absorbed, like you said with Omega Flowey, and also when Asriel absorbed Chara's souls, but that was after the absorbtion was finalized, here it seems Clover never does fully get absorbed
I'm truly happy, that someone enjoys Flowey's funky behaviour as much as I do. That little flowery bastard is my favorite character from both Undertales, alongside Martlet, the best worst bird being, who is absolutely adorable
Awesome! Yeah Flowey is a ton of fun, I think they're a really fun villain for sure
And Martlet is an absolute bundle of joy

I love the idea that out of all the minor changes Flowey sees in Clover every run, THAT is the one that just completely floors them
@@mazerayluxeven to a child it should have been obvious that drinking acid is a death sentence. Flowey has every right to be floored and pissed at Clover for that

In all seriousness The Neutral route has an incredible ending that expands on both Clovers character & his journey in ways we will never get to fully see, simply because Flowey doesn’t let us. They also use it as a chance to show new elements of Flowey & what it was like for him to live as a soulless flower.
The psychological horror elements they throw in enrich the fight & help show just how hopeless the situation really is for Clover. Giving each different “material phases” of the boss each have their own theme & unique designs helps separate them & make them all feel special.
Leaving it all off on Flowey resetting the timeline once again because he got bored was a unique way to end it, and one I didn’t see coming. It also means the Neutral Route could canonically happen before the Pacifist Route, and I just think that’s a cool detail.
All in all, glad you enjoyed this fresh new dose of Trauma & Nightmare Fuel from Flowey. Good luck with Genocide, you’ll need it!

Flowey doesn't stop because he got bored he stops because he realises the existence of the player, the way he's eye shift from clover's soul towards the other side of the screen is one of the highlights of the ending.

@@אורוידןפלד-י3קNot really, he seems aware of something, but don't exactly realizes the player existence. But he gave up and resets the timeline because he's bored, and that's because no matter how hard he tries, he can't get Clover to give up and let himself being absorbed.
So in case you couldn't tell, I REALLY enjoy voicing Flowey

Imma just say, genocide will make you love Martlet even more. But if you don't want it on your save files you can always just react to a no commentary recording of it
Edit: I think it's called the Revenge Route in Yellow. Neutral is just called neutral. If you only kill Ceroba its Justice route, and if you don't then it's the True Justice route.
You can really tell you put your heart and soul into it whenever you voice him!

That reaction to flowey killing martlet is the exact same as me, I wanted only one thing, get rid of this freaking Flower once and for all
Fun fact:
The music for each of the other art styles are titled specimen: [insert material here] which I think is meant to imply that Alphys injected Determination into other inanimate objects or objects that are nowhere near as sentient as humans or monsters.

Axis‘ Neutral Spare speech and what Flowey says about the SOUL of Justice are probably some of the best lines of dialogue in the entire game.
As for the genocide route (or vengeance route as it seems to be called in this game I think), it has some of my personal favorite music in all of gaming (though mainly because of the emotions and not because it’s extraordinarily good quality-wise because it is really good but it’s not revolutionary or anything, I really just like it for personal reasons. Anyways as I was saying I like the music in the geno route) and that’s great because you’re gonna be listening to it for a while. You might wanna hoard some of your better healing items. And if you find that the final boss is too easy you can always install the release version of the game and fight it in there because they made it easier because people thought it was too hard even for a boss that was supposed to be really hard on purpose. Anyways I‘m ranting again. I should stop before I accidentally spoil something if I didn’t already.

I beat the final boss of this game's vengeance route in a crisp 10.5 (nonconsecutive) hours, so allow me to provide the following advice:

I do have a couple suggestions though, in case you really enjoy playing these types of games for content. If you don’t and just want Undertale Yellow as a one-series thing, that’s totally okay.
The games I would really like to see you play are In Stars and Time (yes the title of the first one is that long) and Later Alligator, both really great games with a lot of charm and excellent writing, much like Undertale Yellow, only they aren’t fan games for anything. If you’re really into these types of games I would suggest checking them out in a playthrough!

That is genuinely a hard question, but I think Luis hurt more because his death was entirely canon, at least with Martlet I can only consider the pacifist ending canon and all is good

what do you mean "Omega Flowey was hard" (21:00), it was the easiest fight in the original undertale game when you compare it to every other boss and normal monster fight, well for me it was the easiest at least, while genocide undyne is hardest (havent beaten it yet) with pacifist asgore right behind genocide undyne, then the pyropes and then everything else and then Omega Flowey

please for the love of god get a little better at dodging in undertale games before making videos about them, cause the amount of frustration viewers get when watching you blatantly run into a very easily dodgeable attack is insanely high
