If you change the LCD , no information Will be Lost. It is the same as if you change on a mobile phone....

Hi. How about reinstallation of the needles? Do i have to calibrate them through VCDS?

You can calibrate tem with VCDs or just replace them on the original location any it should be ok...

No. There is no need to BE reprogramed. It is plug an play.

Hi, no, it isnt possible. It wont fit because instrument cluster is not the same....
It is possible to retro fit an aftermarket colour display .... There are a few options avaiable.... Google for 3dcolormfd or colormfa, and see wich One is the One it looks bether....
