Yooo amazing that you are reacting to more Animusic! If you want to know my favorite ones, they are Future Retro, Stick Figures, Harmonic Voltage, Resonant Chamber, and Acoustic Curves. Amazing video as well. When you said Cathedral Pictures sounded like Christmas music, I pictured the second act of it being Halloween lol

The way these work is that its MIDI driven animation. IIRC, Keyframes are set on individual notes on instruments, and the computer program animates based on a MIDI file which instruments to hit and when. Pretty awesome and mind blowing technology

What’s funny is this came out in like 2001 on vhs and then again on dvd in 2004. This was generated music before ai generation.
The was Animusic
Then there was Animusic 2.
And now the company lays dormant as we all wait for Animusic 3.
