Financial 68 stories is being built very fast . It's current height now is 102meters ~ 30 stories . It's gonna top out in October 10th 2010 with the tallest height up to 263mters.

I'm Vietnamese. I'm learning at HCM city. This city is really modern. But in Viet Nam, many cities is more beautiful than HCM city: Ha Noi, Nha Trang...

btw I am Saigonese too and although I love my city, it still needs a lot of works :< , a decent Metro system (like the one in Japan), then more investment is desperated needed in infrastructure (sewage, clean water supply, road, etc), pollution, etc :(

@haikiller11 thats because most rich filipinos are STAYING in d philippines and helping our motherland. Vietnam have different situation, and most of your south vietnamese pipol including perhaps their richest citizens have took refuge in US, Hong Kong, n believe it or not, Philippines. I met a lot of half n pure vietnamese when i was in highschool, they were looking for some new places to stay. I met good vietnamese too who were former refugees from philippines n sings praises of d philippines.

Singapore skyline is impressive but the land is tiny imagine if 15 years ago Vietnam focus economy to only on one city like bankok, singapore, manila or 5 years from now combine all the large cities in vietnam together...singapore, bankok, manila is no where close to its size

@GuardianDemonX yes philippine is very dirty but not all look at manila skyline (makati city skyline) (ortigas skyline) global city skyline (eastwood city skyline and many more philippines is very strong republic many railway system in metro manila and the bullet train open in 2012 lot of luxury car condominium and beaches

economy in the midst of the economic crisis we are tested as a strong economy we surpassed china,korea and india before we have faster economy than australia and new zealand by 1970's and we can do that again im sure by 2010!

@joesel19 phillipines wont be a developed country by 2012, the country still have major poverty and rural areas. The country's GDP is only around 150billions while the population is 92millions. Even China wont be a developed country by then and It's cities like Shanghai, shenzen, beijing etc...are way ahead. Plus, philippines' GDP growth rate is low compared to China and Vietnam.
