Glad I stopped being friends with some people, now they don’t get to be introduced to the awesome music I find
After listening to this many times I’ve come to the conclusion: this song isn’t about letting go and dying, it’s about letting go and living 🙏
It’s easy to just give up and FREE FALL so funny how religion says you will just go to hell if you commit sucide , I think it’s incredibly unfortunate for a soul to lose all hope and give up on life . Do they deserve to go to hell ? No .. they deserve something to save them , if there is god , then god needs to be a savior . How can people lose all hope if their is a higher power . At the end of the day , you only got yourself. Be selfish and love yourself and stop trying to satisfy everyone else needs . You will lose yourself doing that .
Strange how this kind is of music finds you when you need it. I'm extremely grateful for this song and the dudes that created it.
I’ve developed an unhealthy obsession with this song
this hits different when you feel like you’re life is falling apart but also coming together in a way that is new & so much better than before, even if you have no idea how everything will look like. new beginnings & endings. you are allowed to let go.
This is such a dark yet liberating song about just giving up and allowing yourself to spiral towards death. That may sound depressing in theory, but as someone who has struggled with suicidal feelings for most of my life, I can tell you that accepting death as THE inevitable ending to yourself and everyone else is one of the most comforting things one can do. The monster in the closet is no longer scary once you get to know him and get used to him. Soldiers in war must eventually learn to take the lives of others, and eventually it becomes just another part of their routine. To embrace death, not in fear or resentment, nor happiness, but as something you don't concern yourself with and yet accept will one day get you, is a beautiful thing for the tortured soul. Accepting death better motivates you to accept life as well, because few things in life are more worrying than death; if you don't fear death, then doing all the things you were too afraid to do before in life no longer seem so grandiose and impossible. Live each day like the last day of school. Embrace death, and live life.
My son had this CD in his car. He was 35 and sadly took his own life on 25th June 2022. He was a beautiful soul. My grief will be eternal. 😪 Edit. Still surreal to think that a year ago my son was 9 days left on this earth. I have listened to thus song a million times and believe it is a song about taking the plunge into life. I wish I could have saved my son but will now have to wait to see him again in heaven where I believe he is now free of the voices in his head and being surrounded by love. ❤❤😇❤❤
“Even the Devil needs time alone, some times”- is the greatest bar in rock music in the lasts decade
Some Hollywood director will eventually find this song and use it. And our secret will be gone.
My friend recommended me this last month, he's now gone into universal freefall..
Cheers to the people here who have never spoken your inner battles and got through them. You did that. You’re here and if no one has said it, I love you.
The “why you been callin this late” just scratches every corner of my brain. My ears are big fans of this song
My man showed me this and I'll never stop remembering how much this song means to me
It's 2023 and I just found RKS. The right music has a way of finding you when you need it most. ty rks.
Reddit thread “what song is 10/10 yet hardly anyone had heard of it?” brought me here. 10/10 agreed
This song saved me from my darkest times. First time I heard it I always thought of letting go as of ending myself. Now I can finally listen to it and think of letting go all the things that ever hurt me. There’s light at the end of the tunnel, it has it ups and downs, but the ups are so worth it, please never give up
What I love most about this song is that everyone finds their own meaning to it.
Its good that you keep coming here. Here is good. You're good. Keep coming back here.
For everyone that found this song, I just wanted to let you know that everything will eventually work out. Just keep trying doing your best. Have a nice day
